Tomorrow marks two months since I first contacted Ragsdale to repair a leaky roof. I was told…read moresomeone would come by "tomorrow" twice and "next week" once. That's three times an obligation was not met to repair my roof. My calls and voicemails were unanswered and not replied to and I was not kept up to date when the date mentioned did not work for them. I finally received a call (after submitting a complaint to BBB) telling me they would not be able to repair my roof because they're too busy. Meanwhile, my roof has been leaking two months without repair waiting for these guys. I would've preferred someone tell me two months ago that they were booked and wouldn't be able to repair my roof. That would've been acceptable and highly appreciated. Thanks for wasting my time, Ragsdale.

This materially reduced the cost of my project. Nate personally inspected my home, to give an estimate, which was the most competitive of the 4 roofers that I'd been recommended by friends and neighbors. The delivery of the materials was on time and stacked neatly in a discreet area. The installation crews worked absolutely tirelessly, competing the job in just 2 days. They are skilled, professional, polite and incredibly hard working. The clean up was faultless, as was the communication throughout the entire project. A first class operation. The knowledge, experience, and integrity they and their GAF-certified crew bring lays to waste the adage that 'everyone experiences at least one bad roofer in their lifetime.' We no longer have to with Whipple Roofing. Stan is always (!) one text, email, or phone call away (which is more than I can say about my insurance company regarding my April 26 hail storm claim). I told a Liberty Mutual manager it's embarrassing when the roofer becomes your source of policy information and not your insurance company. Yet also your gift as Stan is more than willing, and capable to kindly, and with great patience walk you through this confusing and challenging process. In the end, yours is an aesthetically and structurally superb roof covered by a consumer-oriented contract and warranty that I suspect is superior to this area. Also, as Stan says they aren't going anywhere (even my last roofer, Home Depot, has quietly folded their roofing division). I believe him and am thankful to the Lord they aren't.
