We had a lot on our shoulders. Moving from Los Angeles to, a new County, Elk Grove, which we know nothing of. Location is important to us, not to mention affordability, because one of us is now retired, most important of all, to us, is the home layout due to medical necessities and, of course, an agent who is on our side. I have had the opportunity to work with Gena twice - first to buy my house in midtown Sacramento and then again ten years later to sell it. When purchasing the house, Gena was both patient and informative as we looked at literally dozens of houses until we came across the house that pretty much matched exactly what I was looking for. During the search, Gena neither wasted my time showing me properties in which I would not be interested, nor did she pressure me to settle on a house that didn't quite match my criteria. In the end, I got the house I wanted in the location that I wanted. When it came time to sell the house, I had long since moved out of state due to work. It turns out that after years of renting the house, many repairs were needed to get the house ready to sell. Gena contracted contractors for me then met with every single one of them when they worked on the house, inspected their work, and when necessary, had the contractors go back and fix any work that was deficient. In reality, she probably managed this project better than I could have had I been there myself. When it came time for negotiations on both transactions, it was very obvious to me that I had the better agent.
