We returned to The Athlete's Foot multiple times but the employee could not help, their manager was never in the store, the employee didn't know when the manager was supposed to come in, and leaving a request to have the manager call us didn't work either (we left the phone message 7 weeks ago). The employee told my son that it looked like he had worn them to mow the grass (which would have resulted in damage on the lower part of the shoe, not around the ankle). The employee talked my 13-year old son into buying a shoe cleaner that recreated the problem on more areas of the shoe. Which meant now it didn't qualify to be returned to Nike. This was our first time buying from The Athlete's Foot. We usually drive to another company in Waxahachie. We were trying to support a local business. Customer service does not exist here. I'm not sure if the employee just didn't know that the cleaner could not be used on this shoe, or if his goal was to make it not qualify for return. Either way, I'm not impressed. We will not purchase anything else from this store. This was my son's first time buying his own pair of shoes with money he has made from his small business. They basically stole $243.57 from a juvenile.

We stopped in because The Shirt Locker had a sign on the side of the road that said, "Face masks for sale!" What a smart idea! The Shirt Locker has a nice range of face masks in solid colors, patterns, sports teams, etc. They have masks appropriate for children, adults, and extra-large faces for $15.00 each (they will take cash or credit card). It's a sweet shop, owned by super nice people! Comfortable environment, friendly faces and they have no problem answering your questions. We are currently working on custom face masks for our organization. We're really impressed with the time they've spent with us, patiently working through the details, interjecting ideas, helping with the design, and showing us the end result. If you're looking for quality products alongside excellent customer service, this is the place to go!

Beyond being a genuinely great guy, he is insanely knowledgeable about bikes. He shared that it's been his passion since he was a young kid, and it absolutely shows in his work. He serviced two of our bikes (an ElliptiGO 8c and a Schwinn Sivica comfort cruiser) in less than an hour. Working right out of his BikeMedics van, he swapped out the brakes, lubricated the gears, and even washed them both down so they looked as good as new! He got everything done perfectly on the spot. But the absolute best part was that he actually took the time to show us how to properly operate the bikes. He shared some great tips and tricks, and even taught us how to fix small things ourselves in case they ever break. Nate is officially our forever bike guy. Do yourself a favor and skip the big box stores: you'll get way better service, learn a lot, and possibly even save some money by going with BikeMedics.
