Two play structures for kids - lots of slides Plenty of benches around the park A giant pig statue and cow statue to play on Dinosaur, airplane, and police car ride up Pretend nature themed house with a little bench in it A splash pad that was dirty and not open yet. I assume it will be cleaned first. Looks like it'll be like a couple inches of water with a giant flower shooting water down onto the kids. I stumbled upon this play space this morning, and found it dirty and left mostly unkept. There are…read more2 areas that have been closed off for a while and you find trash on the floor pretty much all over the place. I love the shaded benches, and water sprinklers are available. Plus there's a small sandpit and 2 climbable dinosaurs. This place has lots of potential, but could use some TLC. Plans for renovation seem to have been made, but it appears that raising $5.9 million will take a while.

It's a pretty old playground that lots of people still enjoy. The bathroom was flooded today but when I gotta go it's a blessing! I'm at least giving this playground three stars. There's toilet paper! I would bring my child as the play area is clean and free of vagrants. And most importantly there's a bathroom!! There's lots of benches if you want a quiet place to sit and rest.

There is also a Secaucus Greenway bridge where you can view the Hackensack River and portions of towns like Carlstadt, Rutherford, and East Rutherford, and you can also see the American Dream Mall. Next to that is a long boardwalk over the marsh that takes you past a school and then to another little playground that is animal themed. This is a nice smaller park located upon Garamound. They have a pond a big walking area they even…read morehave a skate park, Which not many parts have. There is even a water park if you want to call it that that little kids can play in in the summertime. In fact the Waterpark part of it is just closed for the fall,winter whatever you want to call it. There are two small parking lots at the top which seem to have enough spaces most of the time for visitors. There are several areas with picnic tables that you can eat her which is very nice. And they have a field. Many people don't know that if you walk around the back of the pond and follow the trail up into the woods there are even more picnic tables And if you go up even higher there are actually tennis courts up on top that you can access also from another road on top if you don't feel like walking that much. The pond is not the cleanest however and I really could use a little more maintenance on the area.

The…read moreplaygrounds were one flat slab of asphalt with maybe a handball wall, basketball hoop or if you are luck monkey bars and a hot metal slide that violated every OSHA rule you can think of for playground safety. The other day I walked by the new Imagination Playground and I wanted to be young again! The NYC Parks department took over this once boring parking lot bordered by John St. and Burling Slip between Front St and South St. The have successfully created a fantastic state-of-art playground for kids. There are water works, sand pits, large form blocks, ramps, bridges and even a tower to climb. They even added a modern restroom. The playground design is revolutionary. I wish my kids are small again so I can visit with them. Hint: do not walk in like me with a camera and start walking around taking pictures; you get a lot of strange stares from the mother bears protecting their cubs.
