Caregivers were very professional, kind, and tolerant with my mother who suffered from dementia with behavioral issues. If there was a staffing shortage, it never affected us. We have dealt with Home Instead caring for an aunt in another city, and there are always call outs, leaving us to scramble to get someone to supervise her. We never had that problem with Sheila's Angels. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

On the rare occasion I do speak with someone, I've been completely dismissed by Laura, Ken, Jodi, Ebony, and several others whose names I unfortunately can't recall. Home health workers often attempt to give less than an hour's notice before arriving. At times they simply don't show up at all and make no effort to notify you that they won't be coming to the appointment they scheduled. There have also been weeks where no one has come at all, with zero communication. My mother has never signed a NOMNC or received any formal notice of discharge. Instead, services have essentially stopped without explanation, leaving her without support and our family without answers. The company also expects the family to handle all concerns and appeals themselves. They do not reach out to providers for assistance, request office notes, or take any steps to help resolve issues on the backend. There appears to be little to no effort made to ensure the system works properly for patients. I have requested to speak with the Director of Operations several times, yet somehow my messages never make it to them. As of now, I am still waiting on return calls from Friday and yesterday.
