She is also in stage 5 Alzheimer's dementia and had a very bad reaction to the anesthesia used during the surgery; a very common side effect for those with dementia. Family members and friends were by her side all day and evening, but we didn't have anyone who could be there at night. Mom was having extremely vivid nightmares and would be very upset when she woke up in the middle of the night disoriented and feeling an urgent need to get out of bed and run away! Sisters Care from The Village at Incarnate Word provided the overnight coverage for us. The "angels" who helped Mom were able to reorient and help her to calm down so she could go back to sleep. They also kept her from walking on her broken ankle before it was sufficiently healed. I wish I could mention each of our caregivers directly.... En Su Casa has been a life-saver for my parents, one of whom is 75-years-old and has limited…read moremobility, and the other is 80-years-old. The En-Su-Casa caregiver has worked with my parents for nearly two years. She has helped keep my parents' home clean and prepares nutritious meals for them as well. She also accompanies my parents to doctor's appointments and errands. And she only is with them a total of about 20 hours a week! The caregiver isn't the only great thing about En Su Casa. The staff is professional, resourceful, and communicative. At the onset of our working with them, they provided us all of the information that we needed to be able to choose them among other service provides. And since then, they are always available to us, especially during emergencies. Because of En Su Casa, my parents have been able to stay in their home and not go into an assisted living facility. Though, when it is time for that transition, I trust En Su Casa to provide me with counsel. The staff know the business, and I trust them. I'll add that it took a few caregivers to find the right fit--a total of three--but even those individuals who ended up not staying with my parents acted in a professional manner. I highly recommend En Su Casa to anyone.

They document care scrawled in a spiral notebook with no consistency between providers. Our mother was their patient, and when my 89 y/o father had a fall they left him on the floor because they did not have instructions as to how to help him. No one called 911. If their providers cancel, they have no backup and the family has to fill in. The individual carers were largely great, but one of them was almost as old as my parents, stooped and frail, and could not way assist with bathroom needs. We had a meeting to express concerns but nothing much changed. I think they need a lot of work before they can really provide quality care.

You receive a text about a once in a lifetime bonus will be ready for pickup a certain day and when you call to clarify pickup they say it was an error and yo wait for another updates text as to when they will be ready l. So basically if you didn't call to clarify you would have shown up like a moron based on an error text they sent and never followed up clarifying the error . they have people working their that half ass everything and could careless about you as an employee/provider. so save yourself the regret and don't bother with this company
