They document care scrawled in a spiral notebook with no consistency between providers. Our mother was their patient, and when my 89 y/o father had a fall they left him on the floor because they did not have instructions as to how to help him. No one called 911. If their providers cancel, they have no backup and the family has to fill in. The individual carers were largely great, but one of them was almost as old as my parents, stooped and frail, and could not way assist with bathroom needs. We had a meeting to express concerns but nothing much changed. I think they need a lot of work before they can really provide quality care.

Not only did ComForCare change the price that was quoted me by phone (a significant increase per week), I put a $200 deposit down for 3 weeks of service. The caregiver just stopped coming after 3 weeks without contacting us or letting anyone know. I had to call asking if something was wrong. When I contacted the company, they said the caregiver had personal issues to deal with in Austin and said they would look for someone else. After a short while, they just ceased contact. No offer to refund the deposit, no contact about a potential replacement. I just stopped hearing from them. That was back in October and it's now April. Very, very disappointing. I want to add that Jayme was very nice and seemed supportive at first until I didn't hear back from them. If you need reliability this is NOT the company to choose for your loved one.

The En-Su-Casa caregiver has worked with my parents for nearly two years. She has helped keep my parents' home clean and prepares nutritious meals for them as well. She also accompanies my parents to doctor's appointments and errands. And she only is with them a total of about 20 hours a week! The caregiver isn't the only great thing about En Su Casa. The staff is professional, resourceful, and communicative. At the onset of our working with them, they provided us all of the information that we needed to be able to choose them among other service provides. And since then, they are always available to us, especially during emergencies. Because of En Su Casa, my parents have been able to stay in their home and not go into an assisted living facility. Though, when it is time for that transition, I trust En Su Casa to provide me with counsel. The staff know the business, and I trust them. I'll add that it took a few caregivers to find the right fit--a total of three--but even those individuals who ended up not staying with my parents acted in a professional manner. A nurse comes twice a week to monitor vital signs, such as blood pressure and heart rate and answers any questions we may have. Our CNA Katy also comes twice a week and takes care of her hygiene cares such as bathing, dressing and grooming and brings any supplies needed. Very out going person whom my mother-in-law looks forward to seeing. I would highly recommend Elegant Hospice Care to anyone that has a family member or friend that needs Hospice care. She just recently finished helping me with respite care for my sister which we hadn't had for several months but she stayed on top of it and kept following up to get us the help we need. She really does care for the patients and their families. I am so grateful to her for all of her help & dedication to her job. Chaplain Cindy is also very kind & caring. She also goes out of her way to talk to me & my family and to pray for us. Kendra is also very sweet and caring and it is always a pleasure speaking with her. She is always very informative and also goes out of her way to help. All of the nursing staff is also very kind & caring. We are so blessed to be in the care of this agency. You receive a text about a once in a lifetime bonus will be ready for pickup a certain day and when you call to clarify pickup they say it was an error and yo wait for another updates text as to when they will be ready l. So basically if you didn't call to clarify you would have shown up like a moron based on an error text they sent and never followed up clarifying the error . they have people working their that half ass everything and could careless about you as an employee/provider. so save yourself the regret and don't bother with this company
