I would strongly caution anyone from working with this agency. After receiving a refund check from my home insurance provider, I reached out directly to this agency to confirm what it was for. I was told in writing by them that the check was a valid refund and I was free to use the funds. Based on that guidance, I cashed the check. Over a month later, I was informed by the insurance company that the refund was issued in error and they were demanding full repayment--threatening legal action. I immediately reached out to the agency again and forwarded the written communication that clearly showed I relied on their professional advice. They never followed up, never offered support, and completely ignored the issue. Because of their lack of accountability, I'm now being forced to repay thousands of dollars for something I never would've used had I not been misled by their own staff. This agency failed to protect their client, failed to communicate, and failed to take responsibility. I've lost all trust in them and will be moving my business elsewhere. I have called the office twice hoping to speak with John T and no response. I spoke with I am guessing a secretary and left a message for him to call me. No response. So here is your one star for poor service. The adjuster assigned to my claim called to tell me I had no coverage and I had to point out that I did. Now I question this company, the adjuster, and the whole process. I have been out of my home for almost a month now with zero progress all while adding up interest charges on my credit cards for hotel fees and another bills. Poor, poor, poor service. We were promised one insurance, told last minute we couldn't get it (for no reason), but we could get one that was more expensive (for their own profit), and ultimately had to look on our own. I found John through Yelp and I would recommend him easily. I refinanced my mortgage through Citi and the Citi rep I was assigned to would not accept my existing condo (HO6) insurance. I emailed John for help and even though he also agreed with me that the Citi rep was being ridiculous with contract language, it did turn out that I did not have sufficient coverage. With my appraisal report John made sure I was covered in a worse case scenario (complete rebuild) and I was finally able to get my refinance done.
