We used Right Way to clean to restore the pavers on our patio and walkways. Although the initial results looked to be acceptable, it wasn't until after the first rain fall that the sand they used for the pavers virtually washed away (although part of the job including sealing the paths). I appreciated the initial sales pitch and communication but unfortunately when I brought up my concerns, they were dismissed and deferred to the point they were never addressed or followed up on. Our association contracted them to wash all of the buildings. The problem is consistency -- some buildings look good, others not so much. They failed to rinse off certain portions, leaving yellow discoloration (see photo below). Also, some of my plants were damaged (they are trying to come back. I had to cut off the dead and curled up leaves. I cannot recommend their "soft wash" services. read more

Right Way Wash, Naperville, IL: When I contracted with Marc the owner I was very very clear in regards to what I needed done & I repeated my needs numerous times. I told Marc I needed my gutters & downspouts cleaned out. Also, needed the exterior of the house cleaned and the roof as well as my deck. I explained numerous times that we have bushes, plants, trees and flowers all around the perimeter of the house and I did not want the wash if my vegetation was at risk of being harmed. Marc assured me numerous times that my vegetation would not be damaged. Marc the owner will tell you what you want to hear, but actually misleads customers of what he & his workers will do for you. He never showed up to my house before, during or after the issues. When his workers came to my home they told me that they don't clean gutters. I had to call Marc who got his workers to do what ended up being a terrible job on my gutters & downspouts. I was told that that the chemicals in the soft wash for the house, roof & deck were environmentally safe. The wash that was used destroyed over $500 of potted flowers that were moved out at least 20 feet away from the house before the workers came. They were destroyed by the wash. In addition several bushes died, and many other bushes and Oak tree suffered as well. Four days after the job was completed I went out on my deck for the first time and after 5 minutes nearly fainted as I was gasping for air. I realized then that I was breathing bleach. I struggled to get back into the house and spent the rest of the day in bed recovering. The wash solution used obviously was not environmentally safe. The workers who were at my house were not cooperative. In fact, they ignored me when I asked them to take a flower pot off the balcony deck so those flowers would not be affected by the wash. The next day I learned they never moved the flowers off the balcony and the flowers were toast. Those workers knew I was/am disabled & not able to move the pot, but they did not care. I called Marc to tell him about all of this and asked for reparation. He asked me to send pictures of the damaged & destroyed flowers & plants which I did. He did not call me back as promised. I called him at least two more times. Both times as before, he told me he did not have time to talk to me, but he would call me back. He never called me back. Additionally, due to the wash job my windows were left sloppy filthy dirty. I had to hire a window cleaner to clean the mess Right Way left. In the weeks after Right Way left my house it rained numerous times. My gutters were overflowing with water as the gutters and downspouts were not cleaned. I hired another gutter cleaner afterwards who told me that my gutters & downspouts were full and clogged and it appeared to him that my gutters had not been cleaned in a long time. After the second gutter cleaner did his job I have had no problem with my gutters overflowing. I rarely take time to give reviews, but when I do give a review it is for jobs very well done. In Right Way's case I could not in good conscience let this go. I had to make the time to alert my neighbors and Angie's clients about my experience with Marc and his company which should not be called 'Right" Way Wash. If after all this you are wondering if I would recommend Marc or his Wrong (whoops) Right Way Wash, the answer is ABSOLUTELY NOT! Using Right Way ended up costing me more $$$$, time, aggravation and having to have the job redone. Marc the owner could have made these issues go away, but he chose to ignore me and his words to me that he would call me back to work this out. The city posted above mistakenly shows San Francisco. Marc came out quickly for an estimate, discuss the soft wash versus powerwash options and didn't provide any sales pressure after the estimate was provided. I researched others, then looked up on my own soft wash vs power wash recommendations and noted multiple reputable web sites and contractor blogs that supported the soft wash method as the best quality for the money which is what Right Wash specializes in. I went for it, results were fantastic. Right Way did an excellent job. The vinyl siding is like new and done with no damage to it. The roof is also very clean, all black stains gone. The sidewalks were amazing as they were very bad, black in places. We highly recommend them. read more
