I have been associated with Rightawaay for the last 19 years, either as an independent contractor driver or as an in office employee. The very best thing about Rightaway is the people. They are a pleasure to work with from top to bottom. I feel like they truly care about me. It is the reason I have stayed, which in today's day is difficult to do. I think we do the best at servicing our medical customers, which has become a real priority with the pandemic. We do work with so many delivery companies, Right away One of the worst delivery company I ever have seen, Lie after Lie, they promise 2 days delivery, it will take 10 days to get it. they never call to confirm the date and time of delivery, if you call they will feed you with a bunch of bedtime stories, RUN AND HIDE FROM THIS COMPANY, very rude employees. read more

I called in to Rightaway to have a tool delivered to my house in Livonia that I'm remodeling. I was a bit hesitant as I did notice a bad rating on here. I was immediately met with excellent customer service so naturally I asked why the rating is so low on Yelp. I was notified they had an account with wayfair years ago and many deliveries were late due to no fault of their own. I was overall very happy with my customer service experience as well as the professionalism of the driver. I will use Rightaway again in the future if need be, and I also would recommend their services to friends and family. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. I ordered an Arm Chair from Wayfair which I scheduled for delivery on March 25, 2015. My delivery window was between 1-5 PM. The driver called me at 3:50 PM and said it would be 45 minutes before he arrived. At 5 PM when the driver was a no show, I called him back and he said it would 20 more minutes. I had a meeting across town at 5:30 and told the driver I could not wait any further, and that I would reschedule my delivery for another day. I called Josh shortly after and told him that the delivery driver did not meet the delivery window, and I wanted to reschedule. Josh said he would call me back once he takes a look at the schedule, but he never did. On March 26th I was notified by Wayfair that my chair was delivered. I contacted Josh at Rightaway who agreed to do some checking to verify the status of the delivery. I then called the delivery driver to confirm whether of not he delivered my chair. He did! Even after I explicitly asked him not to do so. He never even bothered to call to tell me that he delivered my chair. He delivered it to second residency, which meant that my arm chair was outside all night and most of the day while my neighbors came and went. I live in an upscale condominium, you can't just have large boxes sitting outside for hours on end, much less overnight. From now on I will verify which shipping service is being used for my orders. I will never use Rightaway again. I plan to contact the head of their corporate office to document my situation, as well as Wayfair and BBB. read more

Ironic that their name is right away. I ordered a bar from Wayfair. I got a call from right away saying they were wayfair (outsourced delivery company obviously) and they said I had a 4 hour window delivery for the next day between 11a and 3pm. I took the day off of work and had a buddy come over to help me as its a 300 lb bar and I only paid for the standard delivery which is basically them dropping it off at your front door. Well 330 rolled around and I still hadn't seen or heard from the delivery company so I called them. Yes, they're late and yet I had to call them. You would think it would be standard practice as a courtesy to at least call the customer when your going to be late, I mean you had a 4 hour window and I have better shit to do than sit around all day waiting on your ass. So long story short, they said they were running late when I called (duh lol) but that the delivery guy would be there sometime that day. My buddy had to go to work so that left me without any help getting this heavy ass bar down into my basement so I told the lady that they were going to to take it down there for the inconvenience. She said they could do that but I would need to upgrade my delivery service, supervisor said same thing when I asked to speak with him and basically told me he wasn't doing anything that I needed to call Wayfair directly. So I did and after much waiting and back and forth they agreed to deliver and take it down to the basement at their expense but that they couldn't have it delivered until 2-3 days later because a different delivery company would need to do it. So I agree to that and about half hour later get a call from the actual delivery guy saying he's about 30 mins away and on his way lol I told him what wayfair told me and he said ok and hung up. Next I know I get another call back from Wayfair saying if I let the delivery guy deliver it to my house that day and just leave it in my entry way that they'll give me 100 bucks off. I said nope not good enough so they came back at 135. Again I'm pissed at this point and decided not to take the discount cuz I didn't even want to deal with this delivery company anymore.... Then the Wayfair rep tells me that it's same company delivering tomorrow to room of my choice... Wait wtf happened to did company so I'm thinking screw right away I'm not letting Wayfair give them more money to take it down to my basement when it's their fault to begin with. I change my mind on the 135 discount and lady puts me on hold, 10 mins later comes back and says they can't deliver today they're already on route to next delivery lol. So next days delivery gets set up instead and I get the 10a call that I have another 4 hour window from 12p-4p. Want to guess who still wasn't there without even a courtesy Ima be late call the time 4pm rolled around? You guessed it right away is not so right away. So I complain like all he'll eventually with enough moaning get a 100$ discount for inconvenience and Wayfair basically makes right away call me to tell me the obvious that they're running late but they tell me it won't be for a hour and 45 mins. They didn't show up until 6:45 so try 2 hours and 45 mins. Crew is 2 small guys who had no idea what they were doing. First they made mistake of unpacking the bar on the truck despite me telling them it would leave them more prone to damaging it and after all I've been thru that was the last thing I wanted. I honestly had to supervise them how to angle the bar to get it into the house and down the stairs. not nearly strong enough were just the two of them for this job. Well they scratched the shit out of the bar and did some minor damage to my walls and door frames. Worst shopping / delivery experience of my life. If I never have to deal with right-away again it will be too soon. After everything Wayfair told me they have had extreme amounts of complaints on them and that they were looking for a new delivery service to handle this area. Smart move... Pun intended! read more

Guys simply disappeared. No contact. I was going to schedule a van delivery on a Tuesday. Reached out a few days before. When it came time to go, they (Jeff Clayton) never responded. Never wrote back. Simply disappeared. Left me high and dry. I found an alternative but I found these guys to be highly unreliable. read more

I was put on hold twice finally got an answer of - I had been rescheduled for another day. No apology just matter of fact! So maybe "someday" but definitely not "right away"!! read more

Our company has been using Rightaway Delivery for over 6 years now, many times for getting us out of a jam where we need something the SAME day, or on a Weekend. They always have a way to coordinate drivers and put forth the extra effort to keep us running. You don't find this kind of service with any other delivery service! They never contacted me even though I was told I was supposed to be contacted to schedule a delivery date within 24-48 hours of my item arriving at their warehouse. I initiated contact nearly two weeks after my item arrived at their warehouse. This being after I sent 3 emails without getting one response. Then when I finally talked to someone he told me only one person can schedule deliveries and he was not in the office. How silly is that? As a shipping company, you would imagine more than one person can schedule deliveries especially if the main person is out of office. When I finally talked to the scheduler, I told him a specific time and he did not communicate this with his delivery agents. So when the delivery people called and said they were on their way I told them I was leaving for work and that they were calling 5 minutes after I said was the latest time I would be available for delivery. You would think they would have done better with delivering my product after not communicating very well in the beginning. This whole experience was not very good and I would be hesitant about purchasing another large product in the future from a company who uses Rightaway Delivery as a delivering agent. They certainly do not live up to their name. read more
