I've been spoiled for many years by my father. He knows local farmers and we always get fresh fruits and vegetables. My favorite is asparagus and blueberries. When we moved, I missed all the goodies. Not any more. Riley Creek Blueberry Farm has filled my needs and cravings. They have picked and U-pick, which is what I prefer. They have rows and rows or beautiful bushes. Easy to pick and hard not to eat them right there -but I know better. But that's not all- they also have the biggest blackberries I have ever seen. Again picked or u-pick. In the smaller building there is an assortment of blueberry muffins, syrups, vinaigrette's and of course my new favorite - Anita's Blueberry Pie. We were not Pie eaters, but that has changed. The pies are sooo delicious and stuffed with lots of yummy blueberries. Very little syrupy filling, just lots and lots of tasty fresh blueberries. The crust is delicate and tender with a slight sprinkling of cinnamon on top. Instructions are included on the top of the box. I went back and got 3 more before they were all gone. The prices are more than reasonable. And the local peacocks will walk by and say "Hi". read more
