During our visit there was a few birthday parties going on, kids screaming and running around. Most of the games we played seemed to be sticky or greasy on the controls. Unfortunately, several games that we wanted to play (power roll, coin pushers) were either broken or jammed. Also, each play was pretty expensive compared to other arcades we've played at. The only staff I saw was at their respective counters, none were seen walking the floor checking on things, or cleaning. The tickets we did win, there was nothing much in their prize area we wanted (too many junky toys and candy), so we gave the credits to a nearby kid. We enjoy seeing an arcade prize area tailored towards kids and adults. Unless they change it up, I highly doubt we will be back.

We're glad they did because it's a great place with classic games, friendly employees, and clean restrooms! We sat at the bar and played NES games: Excite Bike, Punch-out!!, and Super Mario Bros. What fun remembering combinations, and hidden mushrooms, lol. The drinks were good and we felt comfortable hanging out as long as we wanted. These are the mini "plug and play" systems they put out around 2017 or so that were hugely popular around Xmas time and sold out everywhere. They have the boxing game where you smack the punching bag as hard as you can and get a number value assigned to the relative mightiness of your fist. Number display is whack though so it's tough to see what you actually got. Still, at $0.50 a great value to get out some nontoxic playdough masculinity. They've got the Arcade Super Off-road which is a fucking classic and a must play. Also featuring a decent air hockey table and an excellent basketball game. Both affordably priced at $0.50 and the basketball game features a very long play time. Maybe 6 pinball machines I can't recall. Check the pictures. They have a change machine for easy access to actual quarters. No stupid game cards, tokens, or waiting at the bar for change. Service is cordial and no nonsense.

She stated that their Sales Manager had a couple digits mixed up in Allison's phone number when he tried calling earlier in the week. That means Triple Play publicly claimed they attempted to reach out and had not received a response, while the real issue was that their own staff had the wrong number -- a phone number they had access to all along through the event planning process. So again, this was not simply "confusion between pass types." This was poor communication, poor follow-through, and poor handling of a group event involving children and families. First the arcade credit issue was not handled correctly at the event. Then the follow-up was mishandled. Then it was publicly framed as if we were not responding, when in reality they had mixed up the phone number. I do appreciate that Vanessa finally spoke with Allison and that they are now working on refunding the remaining arcade credit. That is what should have happened from the beginning. But the fact remains: our group spent over $2,000, the girls were let down in the moment, we had to pay the $225 ourselves to make it right for the kids, and the follow-up only happened after multiple public responses and updates. I am glad they are finally taking steps to correct part of it, but this entire situation still shows why I would strongly warn anyone planning a group event here to get every single detail in writing, verify every promise before arriving, and make sure you know exactly who is responsible if something goes wrong.

However, they're only open Friday through Sunday, which makes it difficult for me and my work schedule. Fast forward to today (Sunday), I had the window of opportunity to make the hour drive to Spokane with the hopes that this arcade was all that I dreamt it to be lol. My friend had no idea where we were going and was still confused when we pulled into the parking lot. When we walked in, I got the instant nostalgic old school vibe and feel as it was kinda dim with all the games and machines giving the place a magical glow. "Voltron" greeted us and asked if we've ever been in before and we said no, we're first timers. He was really nice and when he went over the rules, he spoke calmly and read the rules in a speed that we actually understood. Sometimes you go to these game places and when they explain how things work, they either speed talk or mumble. Voltron did a great job giving us the run down and instructions and even gave us some history on the place. The cost is $18 per person with unlimited play from open to close, which I found as a great value because we ended up losing ourselves there for 3 to 4 hours! There's over 140 classic pinball and joystick games, which is outstandingly epic. There's no other place in this area that offers this many games and with the variety of retro classics too. I'm not sure if it's because I'm born in the early 80s, but this place hits the bullseye. I had a blast reminiscing from when I was a kid and I kept hearing my friend say, this is so fun, lol. The bonus is the fact they have a hand washing station, which I definitely used a few times. With all the hands touching the machines, I really appreciate the owner's thoughtfulness. Jedi Alliance has more than just games, they have a museum of retro pop culture movie posters and props, a huge collection of old school dolls, figurines, toys, and games. The only reason being is that it's the only outdoor mini course in Spokane. Staff - The only gal who was working was quite pleasant and tried to make the place fun, while three other guys just looked surly and bored to be there. Arcade - The worst I've played at. Over a third of the games were offline or not working. The ones that we tried either errored out or were claw machines. Beware of the claw machines! I overheard a staff member tell another patron that they are on the highest setting for limited payout. We probably tried one that contained various Sonic characters around 30 times, and still wasn't on payout. Prize Counter - pretty sad looking and only tailored to kids, which I get, but a lot of arcades now tend to have a mixture that would lure adults. If we do come back, it would only be for the outside mini golf, but I would rather drive 40 minutes to go to Triple Plays outside mini golf, along with a decent arcade.
