So i ask what was going on with my car the desk manager said he believes it the distributor cap, come on now five days just to find out a cap so he go on to tell me that the part don't come in to the next day so i had my wife to bring the part back to them so she ran out of gas before she could pull off their property she ran out of gas now keep in mind that she have spent a lot of money with this shop and they would not even help her when the gas ran out cause i had her to bring that part to the shop. So the desk manager told me that the part was $160 and we bought the part from auto zone for less okay they said my car still wasn't cranking so the next day they call and said some wires was miss up and they rewired my ignition switch also that some wires under the distributor was miss up, the desk manager call me a two hours later and say my car ready i go to pick it up it cranks up wait the desk manager tell me that for his machanic time and putting on the cap and rigging my ignition switch was $ 200 keep in mind my wife paid for the part. Know my car cranked up but it was shaking so bad trying to make it to my house around the block, got yard cut the car off and it wouldn't crank back up call them back desk manager answer i let him hear that the car wouldn't crank and he says sorry Earl. I was told halfway thru that my car requires either 0w20 or 5w20, he said that the 0w20 was gonna cost $49, I said no, give me the 5w20, thinking it would be at the $14.99 price. When the oil change was finished, I was told my final bill was $58. I questioned why, the guy said that the 5w20 was $7 per quart, plus extra cost for shop supplies, labor, and oil disposal, then of course sales tax. I asked him what oil is included in the $14.99 change, he said 5w30 was included and that the 5w20 is what my car called for. He was not upfront about the price, basically saying that he thought I understood what he meant about the price when he spoke to me mid-change. I felt like I couldn't do much arguing being that the oil change was done and I couldn't just walk out without paying the full price. I went ahead and paid, but I will NEVER return here. I can pay less at Take 5 and get done quicker, I only came here to try to save some money, and I ended up spending more. SCAM ARTIST at its finest.
