Great quality work and reasonable prices! I've had several autos repaired there, in addition to a boat.

With the service engine light on recently and knowing that after auto zone's no return of problems and Googl-ing it returned that as long as it wasn't blinking...that's all I cared about in order to drive it to you to figure it out. As mentioned, and you sold me with your trust as a female when one of your mechanics said after half a year had gone by way back when I first bought this car and I assumed surely it needed an oil change even though the mileage wasn't up yet. You guys checked everything and said I really didn't need it but when I was back in town the next month to get it done then. That's customer service. Even yesterday, he hook up to figure out what was really wrong with my car was explained and why the $35 charge for you guys to do it checks things that Autozone does not. Then like magic all the exclamation marks were shown to me. It's just a huge relief to have Ray's in my phone & on Yelp for standby in case phone kicks it.

The mechanics have been great, but I feel as if customer service has been thrown out the window. I should have been called and kept up to date on the progress of getting parts, and now getting the work done. I have complained to several people--names I will not share, but nothing has changed. I really like the mechanics here. They do great work and are fairly quick about it too. I just wish they were quick about work they have already started, but as of yet not finished.

Here you go: Subject: Request for Refund Due to Incomplete and Misrepresented Vehicle Repair I am writing regarding the repair performed on my daughter's vehicle on [date], for which I paid $348.85. The vehicle was returned to us with the same issue it was brought in for. Within a day, the condition worsened, including white smoke from the engine. When the vehicle was brought back, we were informed that the head gasket had blown and that this type of repair is not something your shop handles. Additionally, your employee stated that when the vehicle was moved after the repair, it was apparent that something was still wrong, yet this was not disclosed to me at the time of payment. Based on this, I am requesting a full refund of $348.85 due to: - Failure to properly diagnose or repair the issue - Return of the vehicle in an unsafe or worsened condition - Failure to disclose known issues at the time of release Please respond within 7 business days to resolve this matter. If I do not receive a response, I will proceed with filing formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the State Attorney General's office, and I will consider pursuing this matter in small claims court. I would prefer to resolve this directly. Sincerely, Lynette Javery

They said they could . They have 4 double bays, two for lube - there was one car in one bay, and one car in front of the other bay. The guy who wrote the order said they were being slow today but it should be done in less than an hour - seemed a bit long for the few vehicles in the shop but I decided to go for it and grocery shop while waiting. they finished the car in front of me in about 15 to 20 mins and moved my truck onto the lift at 4:28 I asked when they were going to start on mine - the guy at the counter said there were 2 cars ahead of me ( meanwhile my truck had been parked over the lift for over an hour now meaning that entire bay had been unused and unusable for that entire time ). Told them to just give me my keys: he said I needed to go tell one of the mechanics in the shop area. Went into the shop and there was no one in the entire shop area. Went back inside and told the manager I needed my keys - he went out and found someone to move my truck outside. At 4:35 when I drove off, there was only a single person in the shop area and NO ONE working on any vehicles. I understand that this is not a repair station; that the people working there are underpaid; that the conditions are not good; that it is thankless work in which there are no incentives to do good work or be efficient; but all of that is on WalMart. Avoid this place like the plague

My wife's car was checked in by Gary who professionally gathered the problem details Friday morning. The shop called that afternoon with diagnosis and upfront pricing. Later they discovered a motor mount that should be replaced and again called offering options. Later I met the owner, Warran who offered to release the car after shop was closed, to pick up the car , and he is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable, offering advice for future maintenance without "selling". We will definably be back to this Waveland Gem.

Returned to have the issue re-addressed; he ignored the major symptom (actual noise coming from the actual part) that we pointed out during discussion which was the same part as initial problem). He instead quoted thousands to replace items (that careful investigation would have shown) had nothing to do with the issue. To make matters worse, the quote had the potential to double, and it would have, because the things he proposed to replace were 100% not the issue. His incompetency would have cost upwards of 8K in the long run bc the repair plan was absolutely WRONG. We went elsewhere for the repair. When we returned to his shop to discuss the failure and findings from CORRECT repair; he was very unprofessional before conversation even started. He walked up saying he was "...already in a bad mood..." before conversation even began. Ultimately, he refunded (only) a portion of the costly repair and told us never to come back! As if we would. Which, ironically, is 100% confirmation that this guy lacks critical thinking skills when it matters most. Because after all the wasted money and additional expense-why would we.
