A second spot has opened up in West Valley, and a welcome sight it is! The footprint of the place isn't huge, but the ambiance is lovely and the impact will be lasting! My wife is half Chinese, so Asian markets have always been a staple for her. Going in here, we found tons of different options for noodles, great candies, great drinks, spices, soup bases, frozen food, meat and produce! Finding 2 brands of Chinese sausage was brilliant! The folks who work here are very friendly, and knowledgeable about what they have. They'll also look to order things you're interested in, if they don't have them. We've been there once a week since they opened and I suspect it'll continue!

Nice little meat locker located on the outskirts of Yakima, way out west. It's a small shop behind…read morethe owner's house and they're doing some great things with meat! The first thing to know is that this place is a little off the beaten path. It's pretty deep into West Valley and about a mile off the main road coming down into the area. It's marked relatively well, but definitely one to stick into Google maps before you head out. We had a couple lambs prepared here and they did it in a timely fashion and for a good price. While here, I got to explore the small room out front where they have a refrigerator with pepperoni sticks, summer sausage and beef jerky. The pepperoni sticks - affectionately known as the pepper stix - were really good. The packs range from about five dollars to $10 and are great for snacking. The summertime is apparently a slow time for butchering meet, but into the fall and winter they have many different options for your meat purchasing pleasure. They smoked turkeys for Thanksgiving, periodically FB for sale and reportedly have lots of pork options later in the year. The guy who runs the place is very nice and takes pride in what he does. It's definitely not a glamorous job, but keeping the people said with delicious meat options rarely is! Worth your time to call these guys up and see what they have available. They also had some ceviche, nachos and different takes on elote. End of the day, you should be coming here for the sweets and when you do, you won't be disappointed. The woman behind the counter scared up a couple guys who helped me and FIXED THE FLAT. OMG. I was so, so appreciative. I'd come back to the store and their parking lot because I knew if I had to wait a long time I'd be safe. I never expected this kind of care an community. The best. From here on out when I am back and forth either to or via White Pass I'll be making a point of stopping and being a customer.
