Holy wow. What an absolutely gorgeous place! The views here are stunning. We came in late June, so the weather was perfect and it was a great escape from the 100 degree temperatures in the south. The hotel is an older hotel, but the views are worth it. Also, it's within walking distance to the gondola which I highly recommend. They also have shuttle service into town. The staff is incredible helpful. I also recommend using their shuttle to visit Moraine Lake and Lake Louise. It was a great experience. We had Archie as our driver and he was so fun! I'd definitely stay here again.

we stayed here during our first ever trip to Canada particularly coming to Banff the service was so quick the concierge is wonderful they recommend so many wonderful activities for you to do and basically help you to book stuff and set it up the front desk is nice and they always have answers to all your questions there's a pool in the spa on the third floor and that was really nice especially after a day of hiking it's just nice to soak for a while. The rooms were super clean and super nice views the beds were comfortable everything smelled really nice and we felt pampered for the price we paid. there is also bellmans and a valet and buses that will come to pick you up to take you to the town. it felt really nice to be able to just relax remotely rather than be in the hotels in town with all the hustle and bustle.

Very nice old world hotel with amazing views of Mt. Rundle and chauffeur amenities, the guest Roam transit pass, concierge services, a cafe, three restaurants on the premises: the Primrose, the Larkspur, and Eden! The massage at the spa was phenomenal, especially after a long day of travel!! Situated at the top of the town of Banff and between Mt. Rundle and Sulphur Mountain, this property offers phenomenal vistas, as well as, a myriad of activities from e-biking, hiking, to excursions to Icefields Parkway, Johnston Canyon, the Via Ferrata, Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, and Takkakaw Falls, Emerald Lake, and Marble Canyon, or Sunshine Banff trails!! It's an older hotel under constant renovation but it does provide the old-world charm of Europe! The staff on hand are exceptionally friendly and well mannered... the fare offered at the cafe and at the Larkspur outstanding!! I came here on conference and absolutely recommend this place!!

    Flawless view.

Beautiful hotel. My room was on the 4th floor, fantastic Mountain View. I appreciate them letting me check in two hours early. The front desk checked in on me for everything to make sure my stay was wonderful, food was good and if I needed anything. It was oddly overly friendly but why would I complain about good customer service :). The only reason I gave her four stars do the oddly out. You almost always have to go to the seventh floor lobby to change over wings (north and south). this was slightly annoying when going to the gym and pool on the third floor which I had to catch from the hallway where the café is. Super funky but this established hotel can't change this-so just be prepared.

WELCOME, PAYING GUESTS! NOW PAY UP B$TCH and be dinged by this!

One star because THEY CHARGE A PREDATORY $25 for SELF-parking. Ugh! Yeah, seriously!?!? That's really sh*tty to charge this to your PAID GUESTS. Just raise your rates. Hate these types of charges. Low class!!!!

    Luxurious Room, COMFY beds.

The best hotel in town for the price, DO NOT be fooled by the other hotels in this town, if you have a Rental vehicle this is the place to stay 100% and get the mountain view room. This hotel is basically a 5 star hotel in disguise, it's probably a Banff secret, trust me. The food is amazing, service amazing, and they don't charge $10 for a bottle of water! From check in to check out this place amazed me and only wish I knew about it sooner.

Hi-ya! Moose suites…read morewas a great hotel. It's super clean, good staff and next to the Roam transit and shopping areas. When you first walk in the lobby check in area is next to the large sitting area with a big fireplace that is hot enough to warm you but not make the place uncomfortable. The rooms are very well maintained and so are the walkways, fitness center, sauna, jacuzzis (2 large ones) and pool. The restaurant that is nothing the hotel we didn't eat at, but I ordered and old fashioned and it was good and strong, but no black cherry, but that was fine. The sauna was so clean and it felt great to warm up more in the mornings and relax in the jacuzzis after a hike in the evenings. The jets were powerful and the views from that area overlook the the mountains and the gondola an Norquay. This hotel was great, only one thing really, the laundry room at 2 washers and 2 dryers which were of good quality, but one was down. We stayed here for 6 days and i thought that was a good amount of time without it becoming too day to day feeling. 5 stars because we had a great time there AND they provided loaner bear sprays for all of us. I don't know if they can do it for everyone, but that saves you at lease 35 bucks for each spray that you can't take back in the flight if you do t use (and don't check bags). That was an amazing food convenience.

I guess I'm not Canadian, and I got used to it, but having a bit more wind protection on the exterior walkways would have been nice - or warmer robes.... Not an issue in summer and not a huge deal in winter but worth knowing. 2) Restaurant isn't great. Mid level chain place. Much better options in town. Staff great loved the spacious rooms and ski lockers.

So he drove us into Banff NP. We stopped at Lake Louise, Johnston Canyon, Vermillion Lakes, the cascade falls, and then we began driving to the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. What an absolutely beautiful hotel in one of Nature's most breathtaking masterpieces. The beautiful earth-toned cream colored hotel climbs from the lower mountain side and stands beautifully amongst the tall pines surrounding it. We made our way to the Vermillion Bar, where are post worked back in his college days, and were greeted by a super sweet server, Ayala, who lit up whenever she laughed and smiled with you. We enjoyed cocktails, beef, tartare, veggie Credit, charred, avocado, and a unique presentation of hot wings I've never had before - the actual wing that has two bones in it was pre-cut down the middle so you were served the 2 halves as their own individual wing. Great flavors and it was very unique and enjoyable. All of it was delicious and undeniably yummy, and fairly priced for such an elegant location. We were expecting a much higher price point and were delightfully surprised to see that even though it is a luxury location, it was not price gouging or ridiculously inflated that one often finds in so many other locations that are "elegant or nice". If you have the opportunity to treat yourself to a very beautiful sunset under the majestic Mount Rundle, and want to enjoy a modern setting in a historic landmark, this is absolutely a visit you must make while in Banff National Park. Thank you Ayala for treating us so well, and sharing your sweet Australian journey with us. Chris, David, Trisha, and Keith

The bar serves snacks and other food throughout the day and evening. I really enjoyed their charcuterie board. So fresh and delicious. Our room/suite was very spacious. Two queen beds and a living room area with a sofa and fire place. The beds were pretty comfortable but not amazing. We had a microwave and refrigerator, and I loved the espresso machine. We also had a dining table. The bathroom had lovely shampoo, conditioner, and body wash from a local company. My only suggestion is that I wish we had more storage options to unpack our clothes. There were some hangers to hang a few items and there was 1 drawer in the nightstand. I wish we had a dresser. Excellent and friendly staff. I really enjoyed the vibe of this place. I would definitely stay here again.
