Before the wedding, our assigned photographer changed several times, which made the planning process more stressful than it needed to be. I wasn't able to build a connection with the person who would actually be photographing our wedding until just before the event. I eventually reached out to Jaylynn myself so we could go over the timeline and discuss expectations. On the wedding day, Jaylynn was kind and helpful while I was getting ready. She even assisted my bridesmaids with making sure my dress was laying properly, which I appreciated. However, I was surprised that no "getting dressed" photos were taken, as those are moments many couples expect to have documented. Throughout the day, she often asked, "What's next?" which gave me the impression that she wasn't fully familiar with our timeline or directing the flow of the day. The poses and shots also felt fairly standard, and the sample shot list the company provided wasn't followed very closely. Jacob, our videographer, was professional and quietly captured moments throughout the day without being intrusive. At the time of writing this review, we have not yet received our final gallery. I'm sincerely hoping I'm completely wrong about my initial impressions and that the finished photos leave me speechless. Editing can make a tremendous difference, and I truly hope we're blown away by the final product. I'll happily update this review if the gallery exceeds our expectations.

Their website is convenient, straightforward, and easy to navigate. Still, I decided to call ahead, and sure enough, the holiday package deal really is that good of a deal. Plus, the person who answered was friendly. I booked the snowy photoshoot with my boyfriend and dog. In about 20-30 minutes, they got around 160 pictures. Not only that, but they were incredibly personable and patient. Even though my dog is well-behaved, I truly saw how exhausting it can be (because it was for me!) having a distracted and tired dog in the photoshoot and they did a great job of being patient while still capturing great shots. The remainder of our appointment slot was spent narrowing down which pictures we wanted and what package and options we wanted. They told me the prints would be ready in three days. Sure enough, the pictures were ready in three days. They even counted Sunday into the three day count, so I wasn't expecting the pictures to be ready on a Tuesday. I must say, the price, timeliness and friendliness is what exceeded my expectations. I've had a photoshoot before with another unaffiliated photographer that cost hundreds of dollars and fell short. We also paid her for an album we have yet to receive. After about 6 months she stopped responding to all attempts to contact her. She claims to have been ill. Based on her Facebook account she appears to still be in business but continues to ignore my attempts to contact her. I see another reviewer here on yelp had a similar experience. I reported her to the better business Bureau. Do not hire Jennifer! If you must hire her avoid paying her in full until ALL services have been rendered. She also does business under JLE Photography.

After we spent the afternoon driving around town to see if Staples and UPS could take photos for…read moreCanadian passport requirements (neither could cut the passport photos to the Canadian size requirements) we found Photo Express through a quick Google search. I gave them a call before heading to their store to confirm if they can do the Canadian passport photos and the employee/owner who answered was friendly and assured me that they have experience doing Candian passports and have been in business for 30 years. So after that call, to the Arden area we went! When my sister and I arrived at the office, they took her to the back to get her photos taken. After a few minutes, the person helping her told her that her teeth were slightly showing in the initial picture they took of her and told her it would be much safer to take another picture so that her passport application would not get denied! They are very knowledgeable and helpful and they care about their customers! A set of 2 passport photos was $30 (as of May 2026) and they followed all the Canadian passport requirements carefully. I noticed they also have a bunch of tube TVs in the front, old cameras, VHS players- it was like stepping into the 90s again. I loved the old grainy VHS quality footage they were playing on the tube TVs. I will strongly consider them when I get started on converting old video camera tapes to digital files.
