I gave them a call before heading to their store to confirm if they can do the Canadian passport photos and the employee/owner who answered was friendly and assured me that they have experience doing Candian passports and have been in business for 30 years. So after that call, to the Arden area we went! When my sister and I arrived at the office, they took her to the back to get her photos taken. After a few minutes, the person helping her told her that her teeth were slightly showing in the initial picture they took of her and told her it would be much safer to take another picture so that her passport application would not get denied! They are very knowledgeable and helpful and they care about their customers! A set of 2 passport photos was $30 (as of May 2026) and they followed all the Canadian passport requirements carefully. I noticed they also have a bunch of tube TVs in the front, old cameras, VHS players- it was like stepping into the 90s again. I loved the old grainy VHS quality footage they were playing on the tube TVs. I will strongly consider them when I get started on converting old video camera tapes to digital files. The photographer was punctual, friendly, and (most importantly) very gentle with our little one. The photographers with Sweet Me Photography are contracted with the company, I believe. Our photographer came to us all the way from Folsom or somewhere in the Sacramento area! That spoke volumes to us since she arrived a few minutes early for our scheduled photo session. The photographer carefully held our daughter and ensured that she was comfortable (aka asleep the entire time) throughout the entire photo session. We were able to choose outfits, props, headbands, backgrounds, and other things we wanted to include in our photos of our little one. She had a few cases filled with accessories, outfits, headbands, and backgrounds for us to choose from. She also allowed us to pair the outfits/accessories with specific backgrounds that we desired. Overall, the photos of our first born turned out great! Our little one looked so cute in all of the photos that we selected. My husband and I will continue to cherish the photos for years to come. My only complaint is that the poses were repetitive throughout the session. I didn't notice it during the photo shoot, but once I was reviewing all of the pictures taken, a lot of the poses looked the same. So, although she did a great job, my husband and I agreed to go with a local photographer for our second child.

Before the wedding, our assigned photographer changed several times, which made the planning process more stressful than it needed to be. I wasn't able to build a connection with the person who would actually be photographing our wedding until just before the event. I eventually reached out to Jaylynn myself so we could go over the timeline and discuss expectations. On the wedding day, Jaylynn was kind and helpful while I was getting ready. She even assisted my bridesmaids with making sure my dress was laying properly, which I appreciated. However, I was surprised that no "getting dressed" photos were taken, as those are moments many couples expect to have documented. Throughout the day, she often asked, "What's next?" which gave me the impression that she wasn't fully familiar with our timeline or directing the flow of the day. The poses and shots also felt fairly standard, and the sample shot list the company provided wasn't followed very closely. Jacob, our videographer, was professional and quietly captured moments throughout the day without being intrusive. At the time of writing this review, we have not yet received our final gallery. I'm sincerely hoping I'm completely wrong about my initial impressions and that the finished photos leave me speechless.
