I called in an order for 40 empanadas Colombianas from this location on 6.27 for a family gathering. The girl that answered was super friendly and told me they could have them ready for the time I ordered, which was great!! I got to the location for my pick up and the whole parking situation was a mess. I had to park a bit far, which was more of an inconvenience than an actual problem. Once in there, I went to the counter where there were 3 ladies working. I'm literally in front of them and about 4 minutes went by before any of them even acknowledged my presence. I'm the one that finally spoke up and said "buenas tardes" and they acted as if I had just miraculously appeared in front of them. I find this absolutely shocking, as most Colombian restaurants are so welcoming and polite. I ask for my order and they tell me to wait a moment. About another 5 minutes go by and they bring out my order horribly covered with some aluminum foil. In the car I grabbed an empanada to have a taste and it is all burned inside and out. When I got to my gathering I removed the aluminum foil and about 10 empanadas were in the same badly burned condition. These empanadas cost a little over $2 a piece! I paid $90+!! I understand Saturday was the Colombia game and they must have been swamped, but if you can't provide quality product, don't overwhelm yourself by taking on more than your kitchen can handle. The oil must not have been the right temperature cause the empanadas were extremely greasy. Luckily we were able to place them on some paper towels to soak up the grease and most of them were consumed. Everyone said that the taste was decent, but they were definitely over fried. I have no idea what their food and service is if you dine in, however I highly recommend not ordering out. There's much better Colombian places. read more

While the outside is bright and definitely catches the eye, the inside is definitely a bit more subdued, but still very pleasant. The staff was friendly and only added to my overall positive experience at Rincon Antioqueno Restaurant. Colombian food is a unique blend of Indigenous and European influences. The two cultures merged and the resulting culinary offerings are a wonderful homage to both cultures. It's been over a year since I last went to El Rincón antioqueño. I have always lover their hervidos, their mondongo, their bandeja paisa and their asados, but then covid hit and it is a small, packed place with no outdoor seating and a very small parking lot, so I just didn't come back until recently. I only had a mondongo this time, but the place pretty much seems to be the same as usual. Pretty much a "mom and pop's" Colombian restaurant, with home-made flavor. The service varies, some of the servers are a bit rough on the edges, but generally speaking, they are nice, even if they sometimes take a bit longer than you would expect. I still love the place and flavors are still how I remember... though I have to confess I felt a little uneasy taking my mask off in such a small, enclosed space... but you can't eat otherwise... I love it and I do plan to come back as much as I can in the future, but for now, I'll probably leave it just for take out, I think. read more

I have had their meat empanada made with meat and potatoes and then it's baked. For my main course I had the bandeja piasa. Awesome Colombian gem. The "sopa de cola de res" is phenomenal. That will cure any hangover. The consume is light and the chicken flavor is definitely there. We had pollo a la plancha and it cooked to perfection. Lastly, the parrilla is massive and has everything you could ever eat. When it comes to a good Colombian Place this is one of my favorites. I been here a couple of times but i always forget to review the place since i come starving and just thinking of eating lol.. We came here on a Sunday after a long night and there is nothing better than a good ajiaco to make you feel brand new.. first we ordered a rejafo to hydrate ourself and their amazimg colombian empanadas which they are to die for. My husband had the ajiaco the only sad thing is that they did not have capers that ajiaco without capers its nothing however we still loved it. I had the calentado antioqueño which comes with steak, rice and beans, and an egg it was soo good and so much food .. Prices are good, is average with had all of that for 45$ which is not bad for a meal for two with drinks.. Let me start with the one positive ... the bandeja paisa was pretty good. If you're going to eat here, eat that. The sancocho de Gallina was BAD !!! The service was HORRIBLE. We went on a Saturday at 11:30 am. There were two waitresses... both had a face like they were bothered to be there and doing you a favor for helping you. Don't expect your water to be refilled ... I had to call out to the lady and waive my arm so she could bring us more water.... it was uncomfortable. I felt like I was bothering her for asking for water. I just order a lot of food for my office lunch today. They do not have deliveries sadly, but I got everything through Postmates. I have to say it was absolutely delicious! There was only one thing wrong in the order which was that I asked for platano maduro in all of the plates but some came with tostones. Oh and the aguapanela that was supposed to come with the order of chicharron con arepa never arrived. But as the order and delivery it was made through a third party company, I don't blame them. Hopefully next time comes all with maduros. In any case, food was simply DELICIOUS!!! I will be ordering again as the 11 people that loved it!! Have been here several times a few years ago. Loved their empanadas and sancocho. I don't know if they got a new chef but the empanadas were extremely oily and had more potatoes than beef. I was quite disappointed. The sancocho was also disappointing since it was presented with one big piece of meat with a bone, a couple of potatoes and broth (caldo). read more

It's been a while since I wrote my first review of Rincon Antioqueño (correct spelling), and even though at the time I gave them a three star rating, this restaurant deserves a solid four star review. Rincon Antioqueño is at the top when it comes to authentic Colombian food. I have been coming here for a few years already, and I have never been disappointed. My choices in dishes haven't changed that much, I still order the bandeja paisa, the sancocho, the "bistec a caballo", the "adobo santaferreño". These are traditional dishes that have not changed over the years, in fact, these dishes are replicated at most Colombian restaurants, with the only difference that Rincon Antioqueño has the best stuff. I have gone to many Colombian restaurants, some are good, not many are really good, and this place always makes me come back. I particularly like the pork rinds that they use in the bandeja paisa. Those are the best pork rinds in Miami, period. The other dishes, well, we can debate who makes a better sancocho or a better adobo, but when you look at the whole, this place is the winner. Another dish that is gaining popularity and that I have enjoyed here are the empanadas. Colombian empanadas are unlike other South American empanadas. Instead of the white flour dough, they use a yellow corn dough, and they are filled with meat and potatoes. These little devils are reason enough to stop by and put some money on the table, get some empanadas, and maybe a beer or some Colombian soda, which by the way, is also really good. With the amount of Colombian people in Miami, not to enjoy Colombian food is almost a crime. For the first timers (and I hope there aren't many), get a bandeja paisa and an empanada. Later you can explore the menu. This place is all about home made, rustic, farm style food. The restaurant is humble, the people are not sophisticated, but the food will get you in touch with the goodness that the land provides, an entity that some call Mother Earth. read more
