    Colombian Empanada de Carne
    Hector R.

Decent Colombian restaurant located in doral area. Small restaurant but cozy. Good for a quick lunch, pretty good prices. My top 3 things to get: Ajiaco - Colombian soup ( delicious flavor and full of protein, potato and corn. EMPANADA DE CARNE - beef turnover, ( fried, yellow corn dough stuffed with seasoned pork and beef mixed with cooked potatoes ). BANDEJA PAISA - ( Platter with chopped beef, grilled steak or chicken, rice, red beans, pork rinds, white corn tortilla, fried egg and sweet plantains ). The service was good and the waiter was pretty attentive, things came to the table pretty quickly. ( took long to bring the bill ). Cons: the place can be cleaner and neater.

Awesome authentic Colombian restaurant in Doral. Today I started with meat empanadas and for the main plate had the Tipica Monserrate con Carne Molida (if you're familiar with Colombian dishes, it's a Bandeja Paisa on steroids... hahaha), a large platter overflowing with rice and a fried egg on top, chopped beef, red beans, pork sausage, blood sausage, pork rinds, fried green plantain, fried sweet plantain, boiled salted potato, and a white corn arepa... and wow, everything was beyond delicious. I also had a pitcher of refajo, a tipical beverage made up of one part Colombian beer and one part Colombian soda... yumm. Finished with a carmel flan that put a huge smile on my face. Service and prices are the best.

This place has been around since 1974 and they are STILL serving great dishes! -Interior is a Spaniard-feeling old school vibe. -Service is 9/10 times on top of everything. -COVID-19 restaurant measures are in place. -Food, So far, everything I've eaten has tasted really good. They make an amazing Mojarra Frita (Fried Fish) that has hints of butteriness and the crispy parts are so savory! The grilled flank steak is good, but I'd highly recommend the one in sauce, which is so tender and packed with great flavors.

Order today a sancocho to go. Went back to the office, 1/2 way my sancocho found a baby cockroach inside my sancocho!!!!. Went back to the restaurant asked for my money back and was told they had fumigated yesterday. However, i saw now another review from 1 year ago and they were told the same thing

Make sure you check when you place your orders. I asked the girl who helped me to please cook some fresh chicharrones to go. When I checked, my 1st order was good, and they looked new, my second order was under the first one, and I assumed it was the same when I got home. There were dry and old‍since I was traveling, I never got the chance to contact the restaurant.

Great Colombian cuisine in Doral. My dish was delicious, fresh ingredients in the steak was cooked to perfection. The only downside is the wait staff seem to be a bit disorganized. It seemed to take longer than necessary to get simple things like a water refill, more napkins, or even the check. Other than that a solid establishment none the less!

The best Authentic Colombian restaurant you will find in Miami. From the family ambience, to the warm welcome when you arrive, you will not be disappointed. On Saturday and Sunday my family always orders the soup on the menu. In which usually consist of I'm on ajiaco, soap de res, or mondogo. Arrival before 2 PM is highly suggested to get the soup since it does run out early. I have been going to this establishment for the passed 20 years and nothing seems to have changed. Can wait to go back with my family on the weekend.

The bandeja paisa was filled with different items to choose from and the chicken breast with fries is brought out steaming hot. The drinks were great, the piña colada was absolute perfect. The espresso martini was awesome, you can really taste the coffee in it. I love how they make a little spider web design on the drink, you can tell that they take their time to make the experience a nice one. We had multiple servers and I didn't catch their names but they were all wonderful. We came on a Friday night and the vibes were so fun, they had live music throughout the entire time we were there. I would definitely recommend you check this spot out.
