They raffle off neat stuff and have fantastic halftime entertainment. Once I saw Joe Jack Talcum of the Dead Milkmen perform an acoustic set during halftime! For realz! Also, make sure you head to the afterparty when the bout is over, the skaters are dancing machines and party animals and all around awesome hanger outers. Definitely worth the trip all the way out to Lancaster.

Didn't sit well with me anymore, so I found PA Basketball shooting academy. The coach is low key but confident AND works with every kid to their ability. He knows when to push my son because he knows his potential. He promotes a healthy team atmosphere in his clinics and on his AAU teams. My son will continue to play for him until he graduates. Very happy with the cost and the quality of the coaching and programs! This coach and organization is in it for ALL the right reasons.

Big vision is a fraud. we played a tournament and light rain moved in over night. We received an…read moreemail at 1:25am informing us the remainder of the tournament was cancelled. We went to the fields the next day and they were in great shape. Apparently this is a common occurrence with Big vision. Every other venue in the area played their games the next day. Instead of waiting to see the condition of the fields and possibly pushing games back with some work, they simply cancelled and offered no refund. They also ignored emails and calls looking for an explanation. Don't waste your time and money renting hotel rooms. they are thieves. That is why they sold out to Big Show baseball. Hopefully the new owners have some character.

The staff is generally friendly. They snack bar is decent and the overall experience is good for the kids. On the down side, they only host wooden bat tournaments and they actually block off parking in a public park in order to force people into their pay lot- bush league! The umpires can be pretty crusty and vary in quality. They won't give out home run balls or allow pinch runners which slows down games. There is a fine line between old school and just being stubborn and they straddle that line..

My family and I enjoy coming here every week and have never had a bad experience. They offer a wide range of programs for adults and children. Child watch is available throughout the day, and on evenings which means parents can workout together or enjoy a class together without worrying about the kids. The gym is large and spacious and there is plenty of equipment to handle the busiest of times. The floor trainers are personable, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Someone considering signing up for this should know a few things one thing before signing up. 1. If you are not on a FC Revolution team you are just "cannon fodder" Despite the claim that teams will be mixed up, it seems that the FC Rev players always end up on the same team. Fair enough, know that going in. We were not doing this with the intention of winning, just to keep our son sharp and learn some skills. If you are looking to win something, good luck. Though I think this does a disservice to the FC players. One of the skills players need to learn is how to play and adapt to new configurations of players. Playing with the same 3-5 players may help the standings but at this age standings in a winter Futsal league are not important. What's important is learning how to play and play well. Sometime you are going to have to do that with players you don't know well. FC Revolution failed in this regard 2. Organization on site is haphazard and it doesn't have to be. Schedule and teams are communicated verbally during the session. There is no reason for the schedule not to be posted in the spectators area and in the players waiting area. This would save a lot of time and aggravation highlighted by our example. The second to last week our son played only two games. When our son approached the organizer (Mike Moyer?) he was told that his name was called out repeatedly for the his 3rd game. Not true, it is very obvious when the organizer does call out a name, our son's name was never called. My wife sent an email to the admin address for FC Revolution explaining the situation and requesting a make up game the following week. No response. The final week our son only had 3 games, he approached the organizer again asking what is going on. He was told "We only scheduled you for 2 games last week, you should have sent an email to us to schedule a make up game" So which was it, was he only scheduled for two and he had to send an email to "request" a make up or did he have 3 and did not hear his name being called. And now say that he didn't get our first email. Oh by the way, our son is 11. We sent another email to the admin address and to Mike Moyer, so far no response. Really, not expecting one from this crowd. Even an email saying " You know what we screwed up, Sorry" would show more class than no replay. As a whole, I guess I was surprised by the lack of professionalism demonstrated by the FC Revolution organization.

They say its a non profit over and over but this place has gotten more and more expensive. Both of my kids have loved it however it's too expensive and very disorganized and to me is not worth it. They cannot keep teachers from what rumors have said is due to money but aside from rent costs I can't see where all the money is going because from what i see we as parents foot the bill for everything such as travel, etc. I don't suggest enrolling your kids unless you are independently wealthy and like to donate a lot of money to a "non profit".

While alittle outdated, my only complaint would be the music needs a major update...literally this place is designed with family in mind...5 of us, a whole pep pizza, 2 buckets of Sprite, entrance and skate rental 28.95. I will return for that in itself...where else can you feed a family of 5 and skate for 3 hours for under $30?..the food, the drinks all extremely fair priced, you don't see that anymore. So yes the building is a bit nostalgic, but the prices for a big family will keep me there! TRY IT!
