During one of my routine visits, they detected a melanoma at an early stage, allowing it to be taken care of successfully. I am grateful for their thoroughness and professionalism. 0/10 would not recommend. Would give 0 stars if I could Came here for PRP scalp injections - I've had this done before so know what to expect - you start with a blood draw. I have know idea what happened during the blood draw but whoever took my blood seemed incredibly inexperienced. I looked down and blood was gushing from my arm - had never seen so much blood come out from what would be such a standard procedure. I was super alarmed/horrified - she asked if I was okay, needed food/water, told me I could go back home and reschedule the appt. I said no because 1) PRP sessions are supposed to be spaced 4-6 weeks apart and I was already at the 6 week mark and 2) blood was already taken. She left and then someone else came in - told me they needed to take more blood bc they didn't get enough from the first draw (bc it all poured out??) she seemed more experienced but funnily enough, the vein in the right arm that she took from ended up massively bruised (first blood draw was from the left arm). I ended up feeling completely exhausted for about a week after the blood draw / spillage; had to up my iron intake to get my energy levels back to baseline. I've never had this experience with a blood draw and I've gotten my blood drawn many times for various procedures. Unfortunately I bought a pack of 3 PRP sessions, so have 1 more session to use and frankly I'm pretty traumatized and don't want to go back. Definitely not coming here again after I use my last session.. would recommend more experienced people at this facility for simple procedures like blood draw. Separately, I got a laser treatment to last to laser off a couple sun spots. It had been over a month and they're still there ^^ above was posted a couple months ago. I really wish that the attention given while in office can also be given to patients after their visits in order to help with the maintenance post-op/procedure. STAY AWAY FROM NINA ABRAHAM!!!!! My son developed a severe, rapidly worsening reaction to Accutane under this doctor's care. I repeatedly contacted her with detailed messages and photographs documenting his condition and explicitly asked for help as it escalated. Each time, I was told this was an "expected reaction." No meaningful intervention was initiated, and no urgency or escalation of care was recommended. When we finally sought treatment at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), the response was entirely different. After reviewing his condition and my prior messages, the team was alarmed and immediately started him on a prolonged course of systemic steroids. His symptoms improved quickly once appropriate treatment began. The contrast in care was stark. Because intervention was delayed, my son now has permanent facial scarring. What could have been a manageable medication reaction became a life-altering injury. Complications can happen with powerful medications, but dismissing a parent who is repeatedly raising serious concerns should not. Monitoring, responsiveness, and timely treatment are basic standards of care. In our case, those standards were not met. read more

I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Alyssa Klein recently to discuss my rosace. This was my first visit with Dr. Klein and within a few minutes she said this is not rosace, this is an auto immune disease and sent to get blood work which confirmed what she thought. I have had red spots on my face for 10 years and due to other medical conditions I have seen many doctors over the past 10 years. Not one Doctor ever suggested it was something more than rosace. Dr. Klein is brilliant and because of her insight I am now seeing a Rheumatologist to help with my scleroderma. I was so fortunate to have met with Dr. Klein. I have had the worst experience with this practice. I booked a consultation with this practice, and the esthetician was very defensive and seemed to rush me when I was asking simple questions about the procedures recommended, after I explained my skin concerns. I would think an esthetician at a derm practice would be well versed in educating clients about procedures. She literally only told me the names of the procedures, refused to explain them even when I asked, and then tried to talk over me. I then had to contact this practice multiple times to get a response after waiting days. I have never had to wait this long to schedule an appointment at any practice. After I endured another rude conversation from Erin the aesthetician today (Tuesday), she reluctantly booked an appt for me on Thursday. Then, I got an email not even two hours later saying said appt was canceled. I called the office confused. The office manager read the notes and said Erin stated I said that she doesn't know what she's talking about and would like to speak to a doctor. While I did state I wanted to speak to the doctor to get more info, I would never be unprofessional like that, and rudely state that about someone. Lisa, the office manager was excellent over the phone. She pleasantly booked an appt with another esti. I finally sighed with relief, thinking I'd get my skin care concerns addressed. Then, I got another email shortly saying Dr. Ringpfeil cancelled stating my concerns would not be able to be addressed. This office gives off mean girl energy and is honestly a waste of time. I've never dealt with such an unprofessional medical office before. I really hope other clients have had better experiences, as I'd hate for anyone to endure the same treatment that I have endured. I had a very confusing and demoralizing experience at this business. I started with Char who gave me a mini-melange peel. She told me to contact her with any questions or weird reactions, I had questions about the way my skin was behaving after I started using the cream. I went for my follow-up and was told when I arrived that Char wasn't employed there anymore and I had traveled there for nothing because I didn't get their last-minute attempt to let me know they needed to reschedule my appointment. Eventually, I came to see someone whose name I will not say for several reasons. She was kind at first and I was empathetic at her having my case shoved onto her plate (probably along with others of Char's former clients) she advised me on a different way to use the cream and during that visit I also discovered that the photos I have been asked to send via text were not even looked at. I saw my replacement esthetician 2 twice and after having me remove my tinted sunscreen, and taking photos kindly offered to do laser for me but not until the summer was over. I'm not the kind of person to try to get free stuff and truly appreciate her generosity and trying to make sure I was happy with my skin. She told me to come back in September. That was a busy month (and still very hot and sunny) for me so I came back Oct 2. They told me to get there at 2:30, but I didn't get seen until nearly 3 pm. Fine. I get back there and right from the jump, the energy is different. She asked how my day was going and I overshared because my daughter who just started college was struggling and I had just finished talking to her and was feeling sad. Once we started talking about my skin, she listened and nodded (I noticed that she did not ask me to remove makeup, and did not look at my skin) after I finished talking she started telling me she recommends a laser and rattling off prices. I was taken aback because the reason I came back was that she told me she would do the laser complimentary because of all the confusion and back and forth I experienced and the uneven results of the peel. I told her I thought the pigment may have started coming back but I have dysmorphia so it's hard to tell and I thought she would at least look at my skin. When I reminded her about our previous conversations and what she told me she insisted she didn't offer that. I know for a fact she did. I even journaled about it. I felt small, poor, gaslit, and kind of crushed but when she denied ever saying that I sucked it up and did not push back. I never want anyone to feel like they think they owe me something or that I'm entitled to it since I only mentioned it because she offered. When I asked about getting another mini melanage she discouraged me because of the potential harm from the bleaching cream. But on the website, I could have sworn it said you may need more than one. I don't know. I just needed to talk about this because it was a very unsettling experience. I told her "I must have misunderstood" but I know I didn't. My comprehension level is high and I never expect anything for free. At the same time, don't get my hopes up and make me think you're going to help me with something and then straight up lie to me and try to convince me I didn't understand or hear you right. I debated whether to write this, but the more I tried to make sense of the interaction the more upset I got; so here we are. Not looking for a response or anything. I just discovered Ringpfeil this year as I have several friends and a couple family members including my very own sister, who have been regulars at both the center city and Main Line location. I'm embarrassed to say within just a year I managed to spend close to 10k between repeated sessions of cool-sculpting and most recently xeomin injections.. YET: worth every penny! The cool-sculpting experience with Channing at the main line locations was great. I have yet to see the results but I understand it takes a few months for the full effects- so keeping my fingers crossed especially since I went for 2 sessions 1 month apart from each and covered several areas, even more than I intended. After my sessions of cool sculpting I was recommended to try their injections by a friend. I was very skeptical as I've never gotten any type of cosmetic surgery, fillers, Botox etc. I went the first time for my crows feet with Marissa and second for my forehead with Kate. After going for my forehead, I waited a couple days and still noticed some fine lines that turned out somewhat asymmetrical and a slightly raised right eyebrow. Not knowing they had a portal I sent an email to share my photos a week later and within less than 24 hours was so pleased to see an email response directly from Kate, who immediately addressed my concerns and reassured me it takes up to two weeks to see the full results. I still ended up scheduling a second session and Kate was able to squeeze me in to come and see her. I went back and she was very informative explaining the "dynamics" of the face and muscles. She then added another couple units on the areas I had pointed out. Within just a couple days from my visit, the lines disappeared, which led to the results I wanted. The best part of this place, and a big reason why all my friends and family are regulars here is their RING Reward program. I'm so happy I found this establishment and sincerely pleased with the courteous and highly educated staff! I've heard of horror stories when it comes to especially injectables if not done by a licensed PA or dermatologist- but I feel safe here. I've been coming to Ringpfeil for the past few months and I feel very comfortable to say I'm glad to be here. My mother goes to the Haverford location and l was glad they have one closer to me. Eversince having my baby, my skin got worse. Extremely sensitive. Dr. Nevid has been very chill, amazing, and also understanding (to the best that she can)! There's definitely that luxury cosmetic feel to this place, but it doesn't make this any less of a professional medical dermatology office. I'm extremely surprised by how well this place is getting reviewed, so maybe my experience was a one off. But you read and form your own opinion. I had an appointment with Dr. Jayne Bird a few months ago and I've never felt so absolutely ignored by a doctor in my life. I understand doctors are busy, but I made an appointment, traveled to the office and took time from work for this appointment. I also paid money for it. Dr. Bird spent approximately 8 minutes in the room with me (not exaggerating), she spoke over me, she answered very few questions and did not allow me to voice any concerns. She spoke quickly at me and about me and my skin, but rarely ever to me. I believe Dr. Bird and her team suffer from a lack of bedside manner and it's extremely disappointing to see a doctor whose job it is to deal with something that can be incredibly stressful to discuss, be so dismissed and non compassionate. I was dismissed with most of my questions unanswered, some prescribed medications and absolutely no directions on how to incorporate them into my daily skin care routine. Please, if you are looking for a compassionate, empathetic doctor who will listen to you, go somewhere else. It seems Ringpfeil has made it clear that they're just in this for the money. read more
