Went in looking to sell a ring that was given to me by my grandmother. I never wanted to part ways with the last precious tangible memory of her but as I'm sure we can all agree, times are extremely tough right now and we needed money to pay rent. My fiancé and I felt judged as soon as we walked in the door. We felt like they thought we didn't belong there. After explaining we didn't know much about the ring's history or worth and only about two minutes of the jeweler's examination, we were told he would only buy the gold in which he offered us a mere sum of $60. He was "not interested" in the jewels because he assumed the center stone to be a cubic zirconia and the emeralds to be worth close to nothing. We politely declined and crossed the street to Kannard Jewelers. Following a warm welcome and absolutely no judgment, we were offered a total of $670 for the entire piece. She always went back because their selections were wonderful, their prices reasonable, and most importantly the people there are kind & the owner is wonderful. Another thing about the owner that I really liked, he knew his inventory. He knew what he had and where he got it. This place is AMAZING. Small shop, but so many options! My (now fiance) and I walked in 30 minutes before they closed. He had just picked me up from the airport and surprised me by taking me to Ring's Etc. to pick out my engagement ring!! They were super welcoming regardless of us walking in so close to closing hours, and helped me to pick out my most perfect ring. We took the stone from one ring, and the band from the other. They made the swap and had it ready for him to pick up 2 days later. They took so much time to help us, and showed us so many different rings to accommodate our style and price range. Loved my experience and felt valued as a customer. This small family-run store is cozy, well lit, and dazzling with options. I was in need of repair for a bent (nearly broken) sterling silver ring of my sister's. I was greeted by a jeweler donning a welding hat and apron behind the counter. He inspected the ring, quoted $18 and 3 days, and referred me to his lovely daughter to gather my contact information. The polite young lady collected my information, informed me of the year-end sale currently in progress, and helped me find affordable unique earrings to supplement the repaired ring as a Christmas gift to my sister. I was able to leave both the ring and earrings at the store until the repair was complete. They held my ring AND the un-purchased earrings a full 7 days until I was able to return. The store had multiple guests, but the same young clerk remembered my story and allowed me to inspect all items before taking any payment. THE RING WAS BEAUTIFUL; and, both items were shined and placed in decorative boxes that were perfect for the occasion. They are a family business who are dedicated to serving you and finding exactly what you want. I discovered them on-line and loved the fact that they profess their faith in Jesus openly.
