Burrito Sinaloa
Jessica W.

Whenever we're traveling, we have to find a local Mexican spot. Rio Bravo was a great choice! The salsa is a really good, but really unusual blend. Maybe some basil in it? Definitely a must try. My husband had the burrito Sinaloa and I had the power bowl with shrimp. Both were absolutely amazing and we definitely recommend.

Chimichangas Supreme very good and filling!

Was down that way was in mood for Mexican and cold beer get out of heat. Service was good and fast. Haven't had meal from there ever.

Mothman burrito

Good service, good food, and my Long Island iced tea was pretty great! Wish they had some music bc I can hear the conversion of the table next to me, but this is a cute little place in a cute little town and given that this is my third visit to the restaurant, it's safe to say I'll return when I come to see the mothman again

Margarita and beer

Stopped in for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by this small town Mexican restaurant. There is an extensive menu, margaritas, beers and cocktails. The prices are moderate. They served queso along with the 'complementary chips and salsa. The help was very pleasant and the service quick. We didn't try the mothman burrito - although the hand drawn picture looked adorable

While staying down the street at the Lowe Hotel there were incredibly few options for dinner, unless we wanted to drive across the river into Ohio so we decided on Rio Bravo. We were greeted immediately and ordered a few Coronas. Then on to the main course of Steak Fajitas & the Enchilada platter. Both were good although they were just slightly on the bland side but the great service that we recieved & the nice atmosphere more than made up for that. All in all it was a fun experience and we would love to come back.

Chips and salsa

Yummy good stop after mothman festival! Prices are good, $10 per plate or so which was great compared to festival prices. We were seated immediately and served chips and salsa as soon as we sat down. Drinks stayed filled and food showed up within maybe 15 min. Definitely recommend if you are in town for the festival or otherwise!

Yummy mojito... perfect amount of mint!

Mojito was really good. All the food was yummy. Everyone was polite. Service was quick.

We come to this place all the time, whenever we stay here & the people as well as the food are beyond wonderful. If you think about stopping here. Only regret you will have is if you don't come.

We were here for the Mothman Festival and who can say no to a Mothman burrito? Not my boyfriend! Seriously it was so cute. I fancy myself an expert on Mexican food and I have to say for how insanely busy they were the food was fresh, warm and authentic. My tacos were so good too.

Really good carnitas, along with carne asada burrito and pollo especial dinners; very pleasing. Fast and courteous service. We'll be back!

Voted best restaurant in Ravenswood...... by our family. And by the look of most of the other…read morereviews in Yelp, it's a favorite of other families too! It was a hot steamy 4th of July day when we made the trek to Las Fajitas. I mean, for this west coaster, the heat was brutal. I mentioned to my daughter that I can deal with dry heat, but throw in the humidity and stick a fork in me, I'm done. Heat is heat dad, she said. Deal with it. Then deal me out! But of course, I dealt with it, and thanks to the great folks at Las Fajitas, I wasn't dealt a bad hand. Ahhh a cool breeze hit us as we opened the door. That's worth five stars right there! From that point it only got better. Nothing on the menu chipped away from the LF's celestial lofty perch. Chips and salsa did their job and made us thirsty. Our drinks showed up promptly and mine, (beer of course) was frothy and cold. The orders of tacos, Fajitas, and salad, arrived at the table hot, and in the case of the salad, cold. All were spot on. I felt as if I were on the Mexican Riviera enjoying authentic Mexican cuisine. Now, to be honest, I've never been to the Mexican Riviera, but I have been to Mexico, and have eaten their food offerings. Some of which I was wary of, but not so at the Ravenswood Riviera. Our food was delicious and the aftereffects were limited to the normal..... I think you get the drift (pun intended). "Ole" to Ravenswoods finest! Enjoy what you're about to experience. Quick Tip: Las Fajitas is two stories. One connected to the other by a spiral staircase. Throughout our meal I was watching the servers struggling up and down. If you're not there to booze it up, give em a break and sit downstairs. I'm sure they'll appreciate your choice. I wonder if they ever thought of installing a dumbwaiter.

Went to Tampico with my family on a Saturday afternoon after my brothers graduation. It was…read moresurprisingly quiet for the day (definitely patrons there but not packed and no wait) but we were grateful to get a quick seat! It's a cute space, the music level was right and they offered indoor and outdoor space. We got chips and salsa brought over right away - I'm not a big spice fan and had no issues with the salsa being too spicy, but it was still flavorful. We ordered strawberry margarita pitchers (a pitcher is $19.50 and a single was $7.50 - each pitcher probably had 5-6 margs worth in it, get the pitcher) that were delicious and refreshing! Not too strong but not overly sweet. I got the chicken quesadilla and would highly recommend. A good amount of chicken and the tortilla was not too greasy but well cooked and more crunchy than some quesadillas that can be soggy (still a soft shell). Everyone really enjoyed their food! The portions are a good size and we even had leftovers. Definitely worth checking out if you are in town!
