Great food, our service was excellent. They sang Happy Birthday to our granddaughter for her sixth birthday, the dessert was fantastic. Great job.

The place always look dark but it's open so go try it out. I tried the nacho deluxe with shredded chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, sour cream, refried beans, and cheese on the bottom. The nachos was a never try again meal. The presentation was a no. I tried the mild hot sauce which was green. The waiter made sure to keep coming back. It was pack inside lots of people lots of conversation. There wasn't a seat at the bar on a Friday night at 8 I was seated in a booth In the bar area.

This place has never disappointed but today, it was exceptionally good! We were greeted as soon as we entered and seated. We were brought chips and salsa immediately, and our drinks were shortly after. Being a Sunday, we were surprised to see the place wasn't packed for dinner but the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. I try to always explore new options each time I visit any restaurant. I found the Rio Chio Trio and it was phenomenal!! It comes with chicken shrimp and steak. Each were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. It came with rice beans, guacamole, and sour cream. You have a choice of flour or corn tortillas. The corn tortillas were fresh and smelled as incredible as they tasted. I am full and so pleased with today's visit. I am excited for left overs at lunch tomorrow!

Kind of disappointed in the size of a LARGE beef & cheese dip for $8.50... won't be ordering to-go anymore! I know times are tough but at least put BEEF in the beef and cheese dip I ordered.

Combo Grande - Ground Beef Enchiladas, Beans and Rice

One of our neighborhood Mexican restaurants. Extensive menu. Food has always been good and sometimes very good. Chips and salsa better than average and plentiful. This time had the Combo Grande with two ground meat enchiladas (extra onions on top), refried beans and rice. Wanted Chile Rellano, but they were out. Had previously and they were quite good. Enchiladas and sides all good. Spouse had the Rio Chico Salad. Nicely plated with plump, fresh shrimp, lettuce, cheese and fruit. Quite good. Service varies, but has never been bad, just sometimes better.

Nice atmosphere, great waitress. Food was good, beef taco had a bunch of ground beef, would try this place again.

The food was ok, just average mexican flavors and for that I would have given 4 stars. Price to value would have been about the same because it is really a little over the average I pay at a joint like this. Seems to be popular and maybe a better value on the Sunday buffet. I am big on cleanliness and rather than looking for the county sanitation score I look around and my first impression after I sat down was the overt display of carelessness about how the waitress station looks like. One picture is worth a thousand words, fix it please and I will come back and give it another try but things need to change, wonder how kitchen looks like, your customers need to see you care

Drove 15 miles for their Sunday buffet. Not offering any longer. Frustrated and left.

Average for a Mexican restaurant and staff is sub par. There are better options for Mexican food, try right across the street.

Got 3 pastor street tacos and they were huge, loaded with delicious, flavorful meat, and so irresistible I ate all 3 and didn't take a picture! The free chips were thin and crisp, the salsa was super-fresh and not spicy. The housemade hot sauce is thick, loaded with spicy smoked chiles and will hurt you in the best way. I got free cheese dip and it is the best anywhere! Not gloppy, powerful cheese flavor- Monterey Jack? The banderita burrito got rave reviews, and I haven't had my chile poblano yet because I filled up on chips, but it looks amazing! I will consider leaving the house to dine in someday because I know it's even better on-site, and they're definitely in my Ubereats favorites.

We started with chips & salsa and the guacamole which was absolutely fantastic. I also had a huge & delicious margarita! For my entree, I ordered the "combo chico" which was one item of your choice (I picked a chicken taco) with rice & beans. It was a good portion size as I wasn't that hungry after all those chips & dips! We will definitely be back for more ;)

I constantly seek out elote so you know I had to order theirs! I like that they roasted the corn, provided a more robust flavor and the cheese topping I could dip anything with that..was about to lick the plate but stopped myself haha my fiancé got 3 variations of tacos, the flavors were good. They brought out some bottles salsa verde and another kind of hot sauce salsa. Inside it is well decorated and clean. It reminds me of the standard Mexican restaurants that I grew up going to. My husband and I shared a couple of plates -- the enchiladas verdes and Texas fajitas, with a side of guacamole and one chile relleno. We also received complimentary chips and salsa. I loved the salsa. It had much more flavor and spice to it than typical Mexican restaurants, without being overly spicy. The guac was pretty plain in my opinion. My husband enjoyed it, saying that a good guacamole doesn't need a lot in it. To me, it seemed to have a brownish hue like it had been sitting out for a bit. Flavor was okay. I just wanted a bit more. The Texas Fajitas were a good size. The same guac was on side plate. Chicken, shrimp and steak had good flavor and seasoning and had a generous portion. The refried beans were not great (my husband thought they tasted like ketchup) and the rice, to me, tasted like instant ramen. I still ate them though! The enchiladas verdes were very good. I like that their sauce had a little bit of kick to it and wasn't bland like a lot of places. Their chicken was also well seasoned. I feel like the meat in enchiladas is often bland, but both the chicken and ground beef were delicious. Lastly, the chile relleno was delicious. It was a bit on the smaller side and I believe it had beans in it, which I wasn't expecting. But I thought it added flavor to it and I liked it. All in all we will come back. It was worth it for the price, good service, and fun atmosphere!

Tiki Taco is about really good Mexican food, and nothing else. And, when I say "nothing else", I mean that they do not have a proper building to dine in per se. They have something like a large garden gazebo or something that has high-top mismatched tables and chairs. The structure you're eating in is open air - it doesn't have windows, and the walls are only half walls. In the winter they put plastic over the open parts to try to keep the wind out. This place gets five stars anyway. The food is that good. In fact, it's so good, that if rating on just food quality alone, this is my favorite restaurant in Summerville. I've had nearly everything on the menu at Tiki Taco, and I've loved every bite of it. It's fantastic. I'm not such an authority that I can tell you how authentic it is, or that they do this really crucial thing that only "real" Mexican chefs know how to do. I'm just saying it's among the best Mexican food I've ever had.
