Again, the Lee Vista Promenade is located close to the airport, so if you are a traveler staying in Orlando, the City Beautiful, this is a good shopping plaza to either grab a meal, grab some essentials, or just for something to do (or a combination of all three). I travel a lot for business and I understand the need to find something to do in your downtime while traveling for work. This is a great choice to head to. All in all, I definitely recommend here and give it five () stars.

HomeGoods, Michael's, Academy Sports, Five Below, Petco, ULTA... this list goes on. On top of that, you've got the Epic theater which offers luxury seating that I love. And you've of course got some great dining options like Rock n Brews, Red Robin and lots of quick service joints. It's conveniently located on 436 & Lee Vista by the airport. Really love this place!

It is a more upscale and pricy area, so the shops reflect that for the most part. There are plenty of restaurants to eat at; Boca, Panera, BriarPatch, to name a few, there's a good variety! I love going to Spice and Tea for their selections of spices and an Iced Crème Brûlée Tea. There are also services like glasses and a Truist bank on Park Ave. plenty of services to choose from! It has such a strong local vibe and it is cool to see a mix of smaller vendors alongside some more well known food spots. That said there are a few things worth noting. First, seating can be a challenge. There is plenty of outdoor seating but not much indoors. The day we went it was pretty hot and sitting outside was not the most enjoyable experience at times. Second, I fully support spending money at local businesses but the tipping culture here felt a bit excessive. I bought a bag of coffee beans with no drink and was prompted for a tip. I spent $45 for 12 pieces of chocolates at Oban Chocolatier and was asked for a tip there too. Same thing when I spent about $25 on four cookies at Gideon's Bakehouse. I am happy to support but it started to feel like a lot in a not enjoyable way. Third, the hours between vendors can be a bit awkward. We came around brunch time which worked for some spots but others were not open yet. For example, Domu does not open until dinner (5PM) and Gyukatsu Rose was not opening until later in the afternoon (3 PM) Overall, I think this is a great place to check out especially if you enjoy trying a variety of local spots. Just plan ahead for seating and timing and be prepared for lots of tip prompts along the way.

They have a live DJ, and the atmosphere is welcoming. It is easy to find... just follow the crowd and the sound of music. It's a small market, but there are a good number of vendors offering food items, clothing, jewelry, plants, mushrooms, and art, among other things. I decided to buy two coloring books (for a neice) from two separate young and black artists. The parking is decent - there is a grassy lot as well as street parking, all free and first come, first serve. Next time, I may have to come ready to eat so I can sample food from the BBQ truck.

The Bao lacked enough filling for the filling to bun ratio, so I would not order again. The Egg Rolls were such a unique flavor and came with 4 which was a good sized portion. I had some difficulty with the online order so I ordered from the iPads at each stall. Satori sent a text when my order was ready and Yumfinity brought my order to my table. I think that the food was good, but a little pricey for lunch time. I would like to see more lunch time combos.

The bag policy permits only clear bags, except for diaper bags and bags for medical items. There is a maximum of 2 minors per paid adult allowed. All minors 17 and under have to be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian 21+. There were guided parking and ample parking spaces when we arrived. Check points were set up for bag checks, metal detectors and of course ticket collection. The staff members working the bag check and the exit gate were courteous and polite. The Fairgrounds was not crowded so it was easy to walk about and not bump into other people. There was law enforcement presence inside and outside the Fairgrounds.

The 4-H exhibits were also really nice to walk through and gave them a chance to see livestock and learn a bit about how much work goes into raising the animals. There were plenty of midway games that kept them entertained, and they had a blast trying to win prizes. One thing that really surprised me was the $20 per person helicopter rides over the fairgrounds. We almost did it and I kind of regret not taking the chance--hopefully they bring that back next year. Overall a really fun family outing with lots for younger kids to see and do.

Today, I came out of Barnes & Noble, in my powerchair with my service dog and stopped to look at my map on my phone to get my bearings and figure out where I was going next, when the security guard pulled up in his little golf cart and told me I couldn't be there cuz I had a service dog (on a leash and with the service dog vest on). I thought I heard him wrong so I asked him to clarify and he said I'm going to arrest you if you don't move. Like WTF! The other day I was in the crosswalk and a truck barreled thru the stop sign and nearly hit me and my service dog yet security was no where to be found then and when I did find one to report it he acted like it was a bother for him to even fill out an incident report because obviously cars have the right away even if you are in the crosswalk. I should have been more careful. While I like going to Walgreens, Barnes & Noble, Sprouts, Hobby Lobby, Staples, Ross, Five Below & more. I'm not going back to Colonial Town Center and those businesses will lose my business. I don't feel safe and I feel like the Black Security officers are using reverse discrimination on me because I'm a white older disabled guy in a power chair with a Service Dog. They are protected because being prejudiced against the disabled is allowed in this country and no one cares.

This plaza is well maintained and offers a lot of parking. I came here originally primarily for Sprouts, but have found a lot of great stores and restaurants here. I particular like Adjectives and Barnes and Noble is an old favorite. For restaurants, there are not only plenty here in the plaza, but there are also a lot more in the general area. With all the reasons listed above, this is a good plaza to head towards.

I used to get my nails done here till the salon went down the tubes, but I guess you can have it all!
