GHETTO and UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I had called a cab from Cortlandt Manor to the Peekskill Metro North. I was told it would be a 45 minute wait. 20 minutes into waiting I called to cancel the ride. the ride gets canceled. Than no more than 3 minutes after canceling the ride I get call back from either the owner or driver yelling and cursing at me. I couldn't help but laugh. I was told never to call for services from than again. that people like me always wast time and money. Than whoever was on the line said they should drive over and quote "teach my no driving ass a lesson on waiting time". Which I encouraged the driver to do since he wants to make threats over the phone. The driver or person never showed up. But I would never use this service nor recommend anyone to use. Called yesterday, 9/5/22, because I wanted to make sure I could get a cab early in the morning. I asked if I could make a reservation but friendly dispatcher assured me I'd get one with no issues, and also added I could pay with card. He said to call 30 minutes prior to my requested time. Following his instructions, I call the company where a different, incredibly rude and unprofessional dispatcher answered saying he had a cab now, where I said I'd call back later since I didn't need it then and said there were other cabs. Call back 15 minutes later and he would not answer my multiple calls. I was late to work consequently. DO NOT USE if you need to be somewhere on time. read more

Last Saturday I called a bunch of local Cabs to get quotes on how much a ride from the Peekskill station would cost, when I called Rio an old guy answered and told me $17. Sounded reasonable so I saved their number and had a great night out in the city until I got back to Peekskill. The driver who picked me up told me he wouldn't drive me for less than $35 (obviously a big surprise to me), and when I told him I'd been quoted $17 over the phone he called me a liar. I told him I only had $26 on me and I could pay the rest when he got me home, but he told me to "get the f*** out of his cab." Fortunately I was able to get a friend to come pick me up at 1am, but i'll never use Rio again, they're complete scam artists. read more

Most unprofessional service I've ever encountered. The dispatcher does business with the capacity of a spoiled 5 year old. Here's the story: My 73 mom doesn't drive and relies on either me or cabs to get her to and from work. One day my mom called Rio and requested a cab. Two cabs showed up at the same time and she got in the wrong one. It was an honest mistake. Fast forward to tonight. I'm swamped with work and too far away to get to my mom's job quickly and she calls me saying all of the cab companies are closed or just not picking up. Being too far away, I decided to try to get a cab for her. I called Rio (not because I have any preference, they just came to mind). I gave the dispatcher my pickup and drop off point and he asks "is this cab for you or for a lady?" I said "for my mom," at which point he refused to send a cab and hung up on me. I called back and tried to figure it out, but all he told me was "yeah go ahead and ask her," and hung up again. This man conducts business like an insane person.
