So in we went. My oh my what a find. Great place. Great atmosphere and decent decor. The server was a lovely guy who was very personable. He gave us the menu and as I read down the page my mouth began to water. We opted to share some buffalo wings with the medium sauce although we were asked were we brave enough to try the "suicide" sauce to which I quickly declined. They were accompanied with a blue cheese dip. The wings were soooo tasty and the heat of the sauce was cooled by the blue cheese dip and this left you wanting more and more. I would definitely recommend trying the wings! For main we both had a steak sandwich/sub with cheese, sauted peppers and onions that came with a choice of side and slaw. The side I chose was sweet potato wedges. The sandwich was fantastic and full of flavour. The sweet potato wedges were by far thee best sweet potato wedges I have ever eaten outside of my own house! My plate was well and truly cleaned by the end of the meal. I will definitely be back to try some of the other delicous sounding dishes on the menu!!

For the money (£6.50) I expect a better portion size. The wings themselves were nothing to rave about and were served with a cheap BBQ sauce on the side. Not pleasant. The fish and chips fared a bit better and to be fair the fish was done nicely however the amount of chips you got (come on its potatoes) seemed a bit miserable. Looking at other items on the menu I noticed they have a 10oz steak for £18. Seems a bit steep but as I didn't have it I can't say much more than it has put me off coming back again. It is average at best.

I've been wanting to try Wolfes for ages as I'd heard their Vegetarian menu's excellent - and it is. Burgers, salads, pasta, fajitas, jambalaya and wraps are available plus there are a range of sides suitable for Veggies too. So much selection I could hardly decide what to choose when I visited this evening, Thursday 21.04.2016. Eventually I opted for the Veggie Diner Burger which is a huge bean burger in a bun with smoked applewood cheese, BBQ sauce, peppadew peppers and shoestring onions. It was massive, tasty and greasy in a good way. Totally satisfying junk food and given that it came with a side for £10.99 was great value for money. Sides of chunky chips and garden salad were delish. Decor is traditional American diner style, although all the kid orientated dinosaur murals don't appeal to me, kids no doubt will love them. Staff were nice and service quick. All in all a pleasant visit and a good spot for quick, convenient, filling food with great Vegetarian options.

We had a sharing platter for two, which included three cuts of steak, duck and lamb, multiple sauces and two sides. The sides we chose, onion rings and chips in goose fat, were good. Unfortunately the meats were not special, outside of the lamb. The steaks, even the fillet, were difficult to cut and all tasted the same. Worse, I could not tell if the duck was lamb or beef at first, it had such a "meh" flavor. The sauces also did not add much, again the one exception the mint sauce for the lamb. Overall it was a huge (and impressive) portion of meet but nothing that tasty.
