I can't say enough good things about Rip n Repair! I had an unusual request for a custom project and Scott happily took it on. My wife and I bought large 4 post bed whose headboard was so big that it couldn't actually fit up the small, awkward staircase in our hold home. I called Scott and he was at my place the next week to assess and problem solve with me. Ultimately he landed on a solution that minimized damage and maintained the bed's structural integrity. His stain blending and finishing work when reassembling the bed was above and beyond. You can't even tell where he made the original cut! Omg! I was sick when I found my dog had chewed a hole through my leather sofa that I imported all the way from London. Yes London in the UK. He chewed through the leather and foam directly down to the wood frame. My sofa wasn't even 1 year old. Thank God for Scott with Rip N Repair. He picked up my sofa on Wednesday and had it repaired and looking like it was brand new by Friday. Once he picked up the sofa, he was super quick, and the quality of his work is unmatched. I reached out to Rip N Repair about reupholstering some kitchen stools. I sent. photos, so that he (Scott) knew what to expect, in terms of my needs. His reply was great -- he said it would not be cost-effective to reupholster my existing stools. He said I would be better off finding replacement stools, and to save my money. I had a leather couch and two chairs by Lane that had springs and foam in the cushions. Over that last 6 years or so the chair cushions had compacted and were noticeably less cush than the couch. I contacted Scott and he came and got them. We were expecting the springs needed replacing but when he took them apart he found that it was the foam that was cheap and needed replacing and the springs were fine. He put a much better wrapping of foam around the spring sets and brought them back and actually saved a bit of money over what was planned. I bought a leather couch from Wayfair, and after a few months the buttons started coming loose. I contacted Wayfair and they suggested that I contact a local repair service and that they would give me a budget for repair to work within. I contacted Scott @ Rip N Repair and sent him some pictures of the loose buttons. After reviewing the work required, Scott sent me a bid for the work, and we scheduled an appointment. Scott showed up on time, with a teammate Jason, and the two of them promptly got to work on the repair inside my home. They dealt with my over friendly dogs with ease, and took great care to repair the couch and make it better than it was originally manufactured. They replaced all the cheap plastic button attachments with custom cloth based fasteners. The couch looks great, and Scott was able to do all the work within Wayfair's repair budget.
