Emily and Michael were highly recommended on Nextdoor.com and I found that they more than lived up to their reputation. I've needed a very- well- loved loveseat and two wingback chairs reupholstered for a long time (too long) and I dreaded the process of finding fabric, being without my living room furniture and giving up the beloved sags and sinks that felt like home. My number one request was: 'MAKE IT COMFORTABLE!" I need not have worried. Michael (the craftsman) and Emily (everything else) came with fabric samples which they helped me navigate (easy), a measuring tape so that they could give me the estimated cost of recovering and good humor. We arranged the pick up before I left for an extended vacation (they are booking now for 2025 but they are flexible when they can be). All went as planned and the furniture was returned when we came home. Michael's workmanship is superb. The fabric fits like a glove and he went beyond my order to include pillows with extra fabric. Was it as comfortable as my very-well-loved loveseat? Well, it doesn't sink in all the old familiar places, but/and it is INCREDIBLY COMFORTABLE no matter where you (and yours) rest their bodies. Their price reflects the quality of their work. So, if you hate your furniture, buy new stuff. If you love your furniture but it's old and faded and sinks into the springs, let Celenanto reupholster it! read more

Michael and Emily Celentano are the dynamic duo! First I must say I LOVE my reupholstered Mitchell & Gold sofas and the new pillow case covers! From the beginning, I knew I would go with them to do my project. They got back to me so quickly, under 24 hours. Then the consultation happened soon after. They brought so many fabric books. When I didn't see what I liked, Emily was able to go back and form a "fabric board" with plenty of samples which arrived within a couple days. They listened very carefully to what I was looking for, looked at my current space and knew exactly what to recommend. I went with their choice. Then Michael did an absolutely phenomenal job reupholstering. I actually like my reupholstered version better than the original sofa fabric that came with the sofa. They had a long waitlist but not too long--enough that I knew they were in demand. I even visited their place and when I saw the work they were doing, that sealed the deal. I proceeded and then they were actually able to take me sooner and I got both sofas reupholstered in under two weeks. I highly recommend them! They do STUNNING work and I am picky.
