The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and very patient with both my daughter and me as we are new to collecting. I appreciated the time they took to review our trade and explain the process. That said, after carefully comparing the trade offer and store credit amount to current marketplace values, I calculated that the offer was approximately 45% of market value. Thats after I negotiate a slightly higher store credit amount, I would encourage others to review their cards' values beforehand and carefully evaluate any trade offers to ensure they are comfortable with the return. Update: Owner keeps contacting me to argue and is saying I am harassing him now. Says he knows the person who doesn't understand pokemon but will not tell me who it is. Please be careful people. To the owner. He was not wearing a shirt from his store. He was behind your booth and everything I said is 100% factual. I want people to be safe in the card community. Shops with people like you damage our tcg community. And its funny, you said you knew the person but at the same time didn't know anyway to contact him, his name or anything else about him. You proudly has your table runner over both booths. Then basically shamed me in to taking down my original review because I was trying to "destroy a small business". No, you are. At a convention they apparently let some one use there booth to also sell stuff. The man at the booth told the price of an item was 30 dollars and when I said how cheap that was, the man started boasting about his prices. When I sent him the 30 he looked at me and said "Where's the rest?" I was confused and said he said it was 30 dollars and the guy laughed "Oh, you thought 30 dollars, no it's 30,000 dollars." Even my friend said to him he told me 30 dollars. He gave me my money back and I came home and wrote a 1 star review. Then one of the guys at his booth was just laughing at us. About a week later I got a Facebook message from some one who turned out to be the owner basically saying it wasn't him and it was some one he was letting use his banner. So I asked how you can see I would think it was your table and he basically told me no, he has zero responsibility to it and I'm just trying to destroy a small business and I should feel bad. So instead of this man trying to extend some kind of olive branch and figure out what happened, he basically just in guns blazing and saying I was just trying to destroy a small business. I was/still am going through a lot family stuff so I just placated him and said I would remove the review, basically because I didn't need anymore stress in my life. But I do want to post this and let people know he will go out his way to track you down on social media. Instead of trying to take responsibility, it was everyone else's fault. It's not me trying to destroy his business, it's him. If you came to me with out the attitude and took some blame for the mess up of some one vending at a table with your table runner on it, I'd go the extra mile and say how great you were. Instead I have avoided your booth like the plague and have not returned to you store. I visited twice and thought it was a nice little shop. I have friends who play there and say they only do so because they have no where else to go. He is also a trump supporter from his response on my google review, which made many people I showed it to said it would make them feel unsafe to enter his store. RipnShip is by far the best card shop I have ever purchased from. The staff will help you track down obscure cards to finish your collection, the owner sells new collections for great prices when he could surely upcharge more like other shops do. Everyone I have interacted with was both pleasant and helpful. 10/10 store. read more

Let me just say, Rip N Ship is the place to be. I absolutely love being there. Not only is it awesome there but the staff is so nice and welcoming. They have the biggest selection of everything from Pokemon to Magic and even One Piece. I go there probably 5-6 times a week. Al, Rick and Paul are some of the most down to earth guys and they are always willing to give us a deal or just some good vibes. Would give it negative if i could, some of the workers are cool.... But..... the guy doing trade ins is useless, hands you a buzzer when youre the only person in the store and says wait till this goes off... makes you wait 45 minutes, while he chit chats with his other employees about their pokemon card lineups...
