    Section of the Berlin Wall

Awesome!! Was in Canada for a Hockey Tournament and needed something to do during down time. Was staying in Clifton Hill which is like a giant theme park. Came here and it was really cool. They had a 3 for 1 deal that included Ripleys Museum, Ripley Selfie Studio, and Louis Tussaud's Waxworks. All together for 3 people it ran about $126 CAD. All 3 attractions are basically about a block away from each other so they are not in the same building. Ripley's Museum had some really weird and interesting things. Part of the Berlin wall is on display, Megalodon teeth, and many many many interactive displays through out. If you have kids I'd say this is a must see. At the time of this visit they had a special attraction of movie memorabilia that included Forrest Gumps box of chocolates signed by Tom Hanks, Used Light Sabers from the Original Star Wars Movies, plus interactive Green Screens. If in the area definitely check this place out!

First I wanted to say this place isnt cheap, $20-30 pp (kids 5 up need to pay). However, if you have curious kids and patience you can turn it into an 1-1:30 h visit which is a not so bad value for money. There are several room, some are more interactive and close to the end there is a type of a game room with many attractions which my kids loved. I don't know if all the exhibits are real (some reallfelt like fakes) but the kids had a great time and this is one of the better attractions on the Niagra strip.

Probably the best attraction on the strip. A lot to see and interact with for adults and kids. It was a rainy day and we spent over an hour inside but could have spent more time. So much to look at and read. The kids learned something and so did I. It is a must see and good value as a standalone attraction or with the pass.

So I was harsh on the Guiness Book of World Records joke of a "museum," and I stand by that. At least with Ripley's, there are actual displays and items from the bizarre, the unusual, the weird items from across the globe. Thus was not my favorite Ripley's, but it was still really cool to visit in Niagara Falls. I also find it funny how it's in Canada and not on the United States side of the falls. The Ripley's here is clean, fairly large, and the staff members were helpful. And for God sakes, just don't bother with Guinness.

Honestly, once you have been here, nothing really changes. However, we all come so we can enter the Vortex Tunnel. We get the biggest kick out of it and we go back and forth through it for several minutes till we can no longer stand straight. LOL Worth the visit, even for us silly adults!! :)

we had one day in niagara falls to round off our East coast family vacation... we booked one of those package deals to multiple excursions...then decided to walk back to the hotel (instead of using our included bus pass). we walked up the street and it was packed full of freak shows, haunted houses, guiness book and ripley's. I would consider taking my kids to a couple of these if (a) i had a coupon and (b) we had a 2nd day here. That wasn't the case...but when i saw that Ripley's does Wax hands...how could i resist?!?! kids each got a wax hand done...it wasn't cheap...basic price is white only...upcharge for color (duh we're gonna do color) and upcharge to fill the was hand (otherwise it's like a wax glove) and of course we had to do that otherwise it would be crushed and a waste of time to do it in the first place. $10 for hollow white $16.50 for solid white $2.50 for color oh and it's Canadian prices...so i guess $19 is about $15 in US dollars so yup...it wasn't cheap..but my kids have a mold of their hands to keep forever..and they loved the experience itself too!

Poor deformed animals! Awwww, it made me so sad to see two headed animals, poor babies. Pre-buy your tickets for Ripley's Believe It Or Not to save a few dollars. You can get some pretty cool pictures while at the Odditorium. I learned a lot while making my way around the museum. Some factoids were super informative and fun while some were just lame and they should have left out. It was definitely a mix of exhibits. The special Niagara Falls exhibit and movie is of course the most unique thing about this museum and probably the most cool thing here, as well. It takes just over an hour to walk through and if you buy both this & the wax museum prior on their website, the tickets will run you $10 each. They are open until 1am on Summer nights!

This was a fun place for all ages, kids and adults. Make sure to look out for coupons to get a small discount. The museum was bigger then I thought it would be. There were quite a few exhibits to enjoy. If you are artist or sculptor you will definitely enjoy this place. One of my favorite exhibits was the spinning room, history of Niagara video, and all the funny and weird figures. This spot is probably one of the better museums/sites in Clifton hills, try it out!

Before 1848, this was done with a trip on a rowboat or ferry; after 1848 a train suspension bridge was the preferred highway to freedom. The museum takes 30-60 minutes to explore, and it's beautifully done in multimedia. The gift shop is worth a look too: Volumes of history, and T-shirts. As I was driving away, I looked over Whirlpool Drive to the gorge, and saw the ruins of the old suspension bridge. It made the heart ache: So much human drama happened there, and now it's incognito.

Before and after your visit, the gift shop is worth exploring, it's filled with meaningful items. I picked up a Black History Matters shirt and was very pleased with the quality. For the tour itself, I had a young guide who was both knowledgeable and engaging. As a local, he tied the history to personal experiences, which made the stories even more impactful. The tour was very informative and offered insight into another side of the Underground Railroad routes that many people don't often hear about. The location is also convenient--if you're traveling by Amtrak to Canada, the museum is in the same building, making it a great activity before your train. The cost is a small fee, and absolutely worth every bit for the experience and knowledge gained. A must-visit if you're in the area.

The prices are steep. Adults are $45.99. Children 3-15 are $36.99. So, you don't get a good value for your hard-eaned money. There are rangers/actors throughout the exhibit. They help make the exhibition a little more lively. The exhibit is entertaining for all ages, but is probably better suited for young kids (about 4-10). What would improve the experience? 1. Reduce the prices. 2. Give the rangers/actors better speakers. It was very difficult to hear what they were saying. 3. Improve on the backdrops. They are large drapes which are somewhat uninspired. 4. Improve on the lighting/sound. You could create much more dramatic setting by putting on some loud speakers. 5. Improve on the giftshop.
