Niagara Park Butterfly Conservatory is definitely a must-see experience for all ages. The conservatory feels like a peaceful sanctuary. The awesome sight of probably thousands of beautiful colourful butterflies in flight amongst a lush floral garden is mesmerizing As you enter you are welcomed and greeted with video and displays of the butterfly life cycle, habitat, etc. A beautiful Botanical garden is on the premises as well. Wishing you serenity and a beautiful day!

I visited the Butterfly Conservatory and really enjoyed the experience. I somewhat knew what to expect because I have been to several butterfly farms before, so I was expecting the usual enclosed environment with butterflies flying freely around. However, this conservatory was even prettier than some of the other butterfly attractions I have visited. The environment itself is beautiful and peaceful. There are numerous butterflies flying around, along with lovely greenery, waterfalls, and water features that make the space feel calm and relaxing. It is a very nice attraction for anyone who enjoys nature, photography, or simply wants a peaceful place to explore. One part that really stood out to me was the interactive activity at the end of the experience. Guests are given a coloring sheet with a butterfly, hummingbird, or another design to color. Once finished, the attraction attendant scans the artwork, and then your colored image appears on a screen. I thought that was such a cool and creative feature. It added something extra and memorable to the visit. Overall, the Butterfly Conservatory was a beautiful and enjoyable attraction. The butterflies, scenery, water features, and interactive activity made it a relaxing and fun experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I loved visiting the butterfly garden. The conservatory is located on beautiful gardens with all kinds of trees, flowers, and shady spots to relax. You can take the wego bus here, and it is easy to access. There were so many beautiful butterflies, and I had a wonderful experience.

Oh my goodness! This place is magical ! Butterflies flying everywhere soon as you walk through the door. It's impossible for this place to not make you feel happy. Everyone was gentle and careful with these gorgeous creations! I would visit here every day if I could.

Absolutely stunning butterflies ! Staff are very informative and allow guests see the release of newly hatched butterflies into the conservatory! There is also a reptile, mammal and little critter room upon entering/exiting that if your lucky you might see being fed!! Def worth the experience I've only been to the one in Massachusetts and this by far is 100% better!

What a cool place! Me and my kids loved enjoying the butterflies, could have stayed all day. There are probably thousands of butterflies. It was really crowded and it would be good if staff walked around to make sure people were respecting the butterflies but that's my only suggestion. I'd love to go back.

Great place for all ages. We bought the package so this was one of the attractions that was on our list We took the bus to the conservatory and they dropped us off. You can also drive there in your car but I think parking is $8 an hour. We were here the first week of May so they had not done much landscaping with the flowers I think they wait until mid May to do that so that was kind of a bummer. When you first walk in make sure you do the full movie it's very interesting. It's only about 10 minutes long. But it shows drone footage of what the grounds look like during the summer. After the movie head to the conservatory where you will be surrounded with butterflies! They said there's about 50 types but I only found about 10. Take your time and go around and around We stayed in here almost an hour. It is very hot in there like 80° so with a sweater I was sweating but pushed through. We had a couple butterflies land on us and it made a smile. Once you leave the conservatory you'll see the beautiful gift shop with everything butterfly you could imagine. We didn't go to the cafe We just went straight to the bus stop but I'm sure it was nice as well. Enjoy..

The butterfly conservatory was included with our adventure pass. It's the next drop off spot after the Floral Clock. It's about a 15 minute ride so you with need to drive there and pay for parking or take the WEGO which also costs but if you purchase the adventure pass you can ride the bus as much as you want for 3 days. I can imagine how beautiful the garden area is here is in June or July, we are here in the off season so there are no flowers. Inside there is a large gift shop with a few displays, a small theater presenting a brief educational video, and of course the conservatory. It's warm and humid in the conservatory so dress appropriately otherwise you will be sweating. There are thousands of butterflies flying around eating, and laying eggs. Nancy, her sister, and I had several butterflies land on us which was a great experience and made for wonderful photos. I even had one try to sneak out with me on a crease in my backpack when we were leaving, lol! We stayed in the conservatory for at least 40 minutes and had a wonderful time. I definitely recommend stopping in if you are in the area.

Gorgeous grounds and one of my favorite attractions of our visit. Experiencing such a wide range of species of butterflies enjoying the beautiful flowers was amazing. You can view the cocoon stages and watched a few butterflies emerging. Walk through the rose and flower gardens and take it all in!

This was my first time visiting a butterfly conservatory and I loved it! Which I also love butterflies. It was a nice setup where you can walk thru and see all types of butterflies.

My mom and I took a day trip and went up to the butterfly conservatory in Niagara on the lake! It was a beautiful set up with thousands of butterflies flying around the enclosed greenhouse! The live plants and waterfalls inside the conservatory made it feel like a true rainforest! The grounds both inside and outside the conservatory were maintained so well! It really was a cool experience for all ages to enjoy! I definitely would recommend the conservatory to anyone who is looking for a cool, and different thing to do!

Cute butterfly conservatory inside of a large greenhouse with lots of plants and butterflies everywhere. It's cool to experience, but for 20$ per person, I wish there was more information on the butterflies that inhabited the conservatory. Also it felt pretty short of an experience. It probably is a 20 minute walk around the entire thing. The botanical gardens are also around but I was short on time. I did expect more

There are so many butterflies flying around. We stayed for a long time. They seemed to land on purple clothing the most.

I would say this was different and cool but it definitely does get crowded and it's a little pricey for what you get.

The tour ended and we got some lunch at the counter service spot in the lodge. The burger was delicious and the fries tasted great too. I had a bite of the Buffalo chicken panini as well and it was so good. The best part about the food was that for two adult meals and a kids meal with drinks only came out to $30. For how the world is right now, that is so awesome to see. It made the day feel very affordable and family friendly. We also checked out the petting zoo which was filled with goats, donkeys, and even a couple kangaroos! What a great day out at the farm. We will definitely be back again.

Amazing, fun, and plain great…read more We didn't have any expectations, and were pleasantly surprised by the owner's dedication to the business - she's actually going an extra length to educate people about ostriches, by showing instructional videos and etc. In addition to the obvious, i.e ostriches, there are also exceptionally adorable bunnies (think the Easter bunny movie), little goats, chickens, ducks, guinea fowls and etc. Lots of space for the kids to run around and have fun. I highly recommend using the opportunity to eat ostrich meat - they serve steaks and little samplers, so come hungry. You can also buy raw meat to take home - I did, and loved it. The land is spacious, colourful, cheerful, and well kept and it's a warm atmosphere. Yelena makes the tour very interactive and educational and asks you to make yourself at home roaming the open land away from the ostrich pens. She clearly cares about each animal as she can go through their stories to how they arrived on her farm and their personalities and history thus far (2018 is only their third year) on the farm, how they interact with her, with other people, and with other ostriches. I'll definitely be bringing more friends back here!
