Just adding some photos to support my poor review of the engine building work at this machine shop…read more I took the engine to a different machine shop because I didn't trust this shop to do a good job fixing my smoking engine. It appears the cause of the problem may have been damage to the piston when installing it into the cylinder or a poorly installed wrist pin. Either way the engine assembly did not occur properly. I paid this shop $3,500 for nothing. Now I have to pay to repair the damage they caused and to have the engine rebuilt again.

It's torqued on the block and it had good fitment. Turn around for two heads (from a V8 4.0L) was less than 24 hours. Valves and springs were left on the block and it wasn't an issue.
