Not sure what the hype is about. Average at best, and expensive. Three "nothing special" donuts ran a few nickels short of $6. The Cinnamon Caramel Donut (a.k.a. "crack donut") - being the headline product of the establishment, had to give it a try. As others have mentioned here, there doesn't seem to be much cinnamon, but there is an overwhelming amount of powdered sugar. With most bites, I ended up with the inside of my mouth and tongue completely coated in powdered sugar; just dry, messy, and kinda gross. Not much taste beyond powdered sugar; it was like eating plain tablespoons of the stuff. It's messy - hard to eat it without getting powdered sugar everywhere. It's poured on so thick, when you tip the donut, it spills powdered sugar everywhere. The donut under all the powdered sugar was unremarkable and average. Only tasted cinnamon in one of the bites. Plain Glazed - Very average. Bigger than a Krispy Kream, smaller than many local donut shops. Tasted like a day-old Krispy Kream. Which isn't bad, but upon first bite, I thought it tasted like a not-quite-as-good (but close) Krispy Kream. The glaze is the headline, and the actual donut was not memorable. Peanut/caramel - If you like maple frosting, I don't think you'll find any here. So I tried this one. The caramel is too sweet for me. If you like sweet, maybe you'll like it, but for a peanut donut, the sweet of the caramel was too powerful and the sugar rush hit me too hard to eat the rest of it. The underlying donut was below average. I *love* cinnamon rolls, but I can't stand cream cheese frosting. As others have noted here, they aren't shy on high-stacking the frosting, so the cinnamon rolls are a no-go for me. The rolls (not counting the frosting) seem very small anyway. Another Yelp review here noted that the cream cheese taste is strong - not hard to believe looking at the frosting. There is a small selection of bread loaves (meh), and a ton of different kinds of jam/jelly (not my thing). Since the Broad Ripple Pie Company went out of business a long time ago, have been unsuccessful in finding anything close to their apple pie. Was hopeful that maybe this place would be the answer. No dice. The pies seemed to be at an okay price point, but they looked unappetizing and "thin" (meaning the diameter of the pie was acceptable if not slightly small, but the height seemed really small/short). If you've had/seen apple pie from Kroger - they looked like that (that's not good). Places like Fresh Market have much better looking pies. At the risk of 1st world problem griping, if you're going to pay just short of $6 for three donuts, it was a little odd that the employee who bagged them just tossed them into a small bag, resulting in the toppings from each donut getting smeared all over the other donuts and the inside of the bag. There is another Yelp review here that stated the same thing, so I guess this is just what they do. Service wasn't friendly, but it wasn't rude or off-putting in any way - so all that was fine. I asked if they had any cake donuts, and the answer was "we don't make cake donuts". Since those are my favorite kind, that was kind of a bummer. The donuts they did have (the actual donut, not the frosting/toppings) was average at best, and their toppings/glaze/frostings are too sugary for me. Prices for the donuts were way above what you'd pay for much better product in many other places (this includes grocery stores). For the reader's context, I think Tim's in McCordsville is the best ever - way better donuts at a fraction of the price - there's a reason you need to place your order there the day before because the lines are usually out the door at that establishment (and for good reason). Really wanted to love this place, and maybe many people will, but visit #1 gave me reasons not to come back (donuts not great / very sugary / expensive / somewhat limited selection) and no real reason to come in again (no cake donuts, pies didn't look good). read more

The BEST doughnuts and pies!! Also, the coffee is my favorite anywhere. They only have one kind and they sometimes run out by 3 pm so get there early. It's such a cute little place too that sells Amish preserved fruits and vegetables as well as DELICIOUS jams and jellies. read more

We came looking for the cinnamon caramel donut holes, but they were only serving them in 1 pound boxes, so we got the cinnamon caramel donut instead... and WOW this donut did not disappoint. Fun Friday morning coffee date at R&R! The large selection of donuts made it difficult to make a choice especially if you are easily overwhelmed. We went with the Chocolate Frosted Peanut Butter, the Lemon filled (powdered sugar), Chocolate frosted Bavarian Cream and Chocolate Covered Cherry. I could only finish one as they are very sweet. Yes, they were a little pricey but I didn't mind. We don't frequent donut shops all that much and it's an Indiana based business so we support that. My husband did try a free sample of the Cinnamon Caramel donut hole and said it was the best he ever tasted! The staff was super nice and friendly. Fun seeing lots of kids smiling and doing the "happy dance" while cradling their sweet delights. Only downside was the limited seating crammed near the entrance. Made for a chilly experience every time the door opened. Also, the coffee was just ok. The baked goods are by far the star! read more

This location is nothing like the amazing location in Warsaw. They don't have nearly as much baked good and lots of empty shelves. They also have VERY limited coffee. There is only hot coffee and cold brew with no milk options, no creamer, and no flavors what so ever. The Warsaw location had tons of traffic to do it due to the huge coffee menu but it is just not the same at the Fishers location. I was very excited to come here and have some coffee that I have missed from Warsaw but was heavily disappointed. read more

I have been wanting to try this place for quite a long time, and today was finally the day I tried it. I read all the great reviews that this place had and the reviews were certainly correct. I got a couple of donuts, and when I saw that they had apple fritters I knew I had to get one. I immediately ate the fitter when I got into the car and it was so delicious! The fitter was moist and not too sweet. The only thing that I would say that there wasn't enough was were the apples in the fritter. Other than, everything was very good and the staff was very kind! There is gluten-free options and plenty of options to choose from. The employee I was helped by was named Jordan, and he did a great job helping my family. My husband and I were there at 2:00 on Saturday and there were only 3 donuts left...all the same kind. They said they had a busy morning and sold out...well ok...but I can't recommend the place and have people go in and find no donuts. They were stocked well on cookies and pies but not donuts, which is what we wanted. They were out of coffee too....???? Don't know what all the hype is about. Donuts seem like they are made elsewhere frozen and shipped in. Tasted five different things. The cinnamon roll was flat out bad. More like a cake texture. The cherry danish was on par with a Kroger pastry. Not good. The powdered carmel and powdered sugar donuts were wet, which says they were frozen and thawed for sale. The chocolate donut was pretty good but not good enough to go back and definitely not good enough to stand in a 20 minute line for. Better donuts down the street. And no line. read more

Great addition to the area. I got some treats before Xmas. The caramel cinnamon donuts lived up to the hype. The pecan rolls are to die for! Huge, gooey and totally loaded with pecans. Never had one so good other than my mom's. The cinnamon bun was a disappointment, as it had way way too much icing. The nut crunch candy is very good - kind of a cross between peanut brittle and a praline. Soft and easy to eat.
