The food was horrible, but the service was very good. Risotto cannot be called an Italian Restaurant, I have eaten better food at 7-11.

We (2 persons) were sat at the same time as a four top and it took us twice as long to get our drinks and food. The calamari had a fishy taste. The pasta took almost 45 minutes and did not taste like it was freshly made. While the servers were kind, the service was incredibly slow for an empty restaurant. The atmosphere was chill and enjoyed the views in a rainstorm.

I wish the dish was a little larger (3.8/5) Mains- 1) 4 cheese pizza - that was the weakest item in the entire meal - small and not crispy, felt like a 9 year old prepared it (2/5) 2) mushroom risotto was pretty good . Flavourful and rich . 3,8/5 We also got some house bread that was fantastic with some olive oil , and some home made limioncello as dejastif. Drinks were good with nice selection and reasonable prices It was quite expensive and we'll probably not return again

We went for lunch, so unsure how the dinner menu is, but the dinner menu does looks better than the lunch. Ordered: - Squid Rings - Margherita Pizza - Lorenzo's Pizza - I actually kinda liked this pizza. I liked the combo of the balsamic and prosciutto on a pizza. - Chicken Alfredo - Chicken was dry - Mare e Monte Pasta - Tiramisu - Mainly cream, I think it might have had one lady finger in it? it was served in a espresso martini cup sooo might have been hard to put more in. Espresso flavor was also very light - Panna Cotta

Their selections are better and much tastier imo. However, both times of the day have panna cotta and tiramisu for dessert and they are to die for! I've always been a big fan of tiramisu and panna cotta so I'm likely biased. I went got these two desserts every time I went. The inside is nice and classy. Italian-themed. Waitstaff is professional and nice as always. Lunch has faster service from what I've seen. Dinner time was slower but the restaurant was pretty full compared to lunch, so maybe that's why. We waited for an hour before the food came out. Overall there are a lot of choices here and it's a solid choice. It's very close to the pool so it's perfect after you're done with the water!

The restaurant is located on the second floor of the mall near hotel zone. When we arrived, the eatery was pretty empty. After looking over the menu, we decided to shared the shrimp ceviche and filet mignon with some fries. For drinks, my friend ordered the tamarind margarita and I had our bartender/server make me something without alcohol. Our drinks looked great and were very refreshing! The margarita was strong and my mocktail was very pretty and gradient! It had orange juice, pineapple, and grenadine in it. The ceviche was very tasty! We loved the sweet mango pieces incorporated into it so much that we ordered extra mango. The filet and fries were also really good. I liked that they cooked the steak in a wood fired oven. The steak was cooked perfectly and we were so stuffed afterwards. Our server was very attentive and friendly as well. I had a good experience here and wouldn't mind coming back the next time I'm in Cancun.

Before we vacationed in Cancun, my BF Joe K researched all the nearby restaurants to our hotel…read more Using Yelp, he found this place to have continued high ratings. So we made a point of finding them on the second floor of a mall in the hotel zone. When we first found this hard to find location, we almost got it confused with another Italian eatery that specialized in pizza in the same area. We were the only patrons there, but hoped we would get special treatment, which we did. Our waiter was extremely friendly, spoke little English, and seemed inexperienced or maybe new. We ordered drinks to start off with, but we had to ask for menus after waiting quite a long time. The waiter made me a very delicious frozen margarita though and Joe had a Bohemian beer. We almost got pizza, but I wasn't in the mood, so instead, I ordered Ravioli Di Mozzarella Di Bufala. Joe ordered Pappardelle Con La Siccia. We began our meals with a Caprese salad and Italian bread (pizza dough style). While we waited for our food, I had time to enjoy the nice, romantic, atmosphere of the restaurant with smooth jazz playing in the back ground. I liked how modern and clean the decor was and they had TV's placed around the dining area. When our food arrived, everything was very good, especially the freshly baked bread. Joe liked it so much that we decided that we would return again before our vacation was over and try their pizza, hoping that our bread was a preview of what their pizza would be like. My only complaint at that time was that my dish was lukewarm. When the waiter asked us how everything was, I told him that my food was basically cold. He just laughed and said "OK". I knew that he didn't understand what I said and let it go. When the time came for our next visit, we once again almost went to the wrong restaurant, until I checked my bookmarks on Yelp to verify where we needed to go. (After all, the name of this place looks hard to remember or pronounce). As we entered the almost empty restaurant, we had the same waiter, however, I don't think he remembered us like we did him. He was still very nice but it looked like the owner or manager was present, and I could see he was under pressure to show us a whole platter of meats that they kept refrigerated out front. Then he told us about their specials. I almost felt guilty that we specifically came for the pizza this time. Of the appetizing selections offered, we decided to share a Margherita pizza. While waiting, we were able to watch the cook making the pizza near the pizza oven. When our food was served, we noticed right off that the pizza dough was nothing like the pizza bread we had during our last visit. In fact, the bottom crust was paper thin and soggy! Our dreams for a delicious pizza were immediately dashed! When the owner stopped at our table to see how we liked it, we were too embarrassed to tell him we hated it! After forcing down a few slices, we quietly paid the bill and left, knowing that we would have to write disappointing reviews and never again look back.....

I'd say the service was amazing, some of the food was amazing and others were a big miss. My favorites were the bread service, duo soup & the tiramisu just might have been the best I've ever had. I really wanted to be impressed by this place but if I did it again I would just get their soup and dessert and skip the rest.

But now we really love it here, primarily because of the great service, as well as the pastas and meaty dishes. Dining & Atmoshphere: ~ White table cloth dining. Very elegant, not dim and romantic, but comfortable. "Table for two" tables might be fairly close together, but when you stay at this resort, you'll usually recognize who you're sitting next to because you probably met at the pool lol. And we've met a lot of cool people here too. They also set up tables for large groups if needed. Reservations are recommended for dinner. Plus, dressing up appropriately is required! Bellà Antipasti, Secondi, & Primis: ~ They start you off with a freshly baked olive bread loaf, meant for dipping in olive oil / balsamic. Love it when bread comes out hot! We also tried the Beef Carpacci, which were soft beef slices with a peppery saltiness! Good stuff! The Truffle Arancini were crunchy parmesan rice balls that were tasty. As for the Mussels in White Wine, mmm mmm loved the garlic sauce it was in! And we always ordered the Duo Cream Soup, which is simply refreshing! ~ For Secondi, we had tried the Chicken Parmigiana, which was OK. Nothing special imo. Same with the Pork Chop, which was a bit well-done for my pallet. The more flavorful stuff was the Lamb Shank and the Ossobuco with Milanese Risotto; OMG, these two dishes were amazing! Our two favorites of all! What I didn't get to try was the Katafi Shrimp. This popular dish must have gone past our table at least seven times. Gotta order it next time. ~ As for Primi dishes, we've enjoyed the Truffle Risotto! The Lasagna Bolognese was meaty goodness heavily covered in melted mozzarella. The Truffle Fettuccine is always a winning choice. Add some chicken to it. The Pesto Gnocchi is chewy and enjoyable! Pass on the Shrimp Ravioli as well as the Beef Cannelloni. They were good, just not as satisfying as the other Primi dishes. Tl;DR Bellà Restaurant has a variety of Italian dishes from pastas, to seafood, risottos plates, to tender meaty dishes, and they can make my gluten-free friends happy with that option. Dining here is clean and pleasant. Service by the staff and our wine som has been nothing short of excellent! Compliments to the chef! There's just so many good choices on the menu. So you can't go wrong eating here. Some dishes are a good-sized portion, but some are small enough to try if you wanna order another. Overall, we love it here!

This place was recommended by our butler at the hotel, and honestly, we should have just gone with our original choice instead of coming here. The restaurant itself is aesthetically pleasing, but that's about where the positives end. The food is seriously underwhelming and absolutely not worth the price. I ordered the seafood spaghetti, and every single clam came out closed. The mussels were ridiculously small, there was barely any other seafood in the dish, and for the price they charge, it honestly feels like a complete rip-off. The show is entertaining, but the entertainment is better than the food, in my opinion. On top of that, the sodas we were served were flat and appeared to be expired, which is completely unacceptable. This has easily been the worst dining experience I've had since being here. The atmosphere may look nice, but that does not make up for poor-quality food, questionable drinks, and prices that do not match what you're actually getting. I would not come back, and I definitely would not recommend this restaurant. And, we came here to celebrate a birthday. Wow!
