This store is located across from the parking structure at Penn Hospital. If you go to Penn for baby classes and have your little one there, you'll hear about this place. It is very close and really has a spread of necessary helpful items for a post delivery mother/wife/yourself, whichever the case may be. They have pumps and extras of all the equipment. Maternity and feeding bras. Tons of helpful nursing items such as the "breast friend" and shields. One of the things that makes this place great is the lady who works there, Sue. She is always helpful and knowledgeable about whatever you're looking for now matter how dumb your questions are. They also accept FSA cards. Why do I know all of this you ask???? Because I had to go a dozen times in the first two weeks after the baby so that my wife wouldn't have to leave the house - yeah, I'm that guy. Though, I never saw another dude there and some of the shopping women gave me the "didya get lost??" kind of sardonic stare but I swiftly punked them by always saying "Hi Sue, nice to see you again. I'm here to pick up x for my wife, she's home resting." I then always wanted to say to the couple of glaring women, "Awww guess your husband doesn't care as much," but I let them come to the conclusion on their own when they're home downing a pint of Ben & Jerry's. She was helping me find things to buy, and actually helping me, not in any sort of pushy way whatsoever. She was incredibly friendly and kind. Further I found some really cute stuff and had a good experience in the dressing room which was clean and spacious. The whole store was clean and well organized, which made me feel safer given I hadn't been in a mall in quite some time. I would definitely return here!

I actually met the owner, Karen, on a shuttle bus at a NY tradeshow last year. When I got on the shuttle, there was a seat open next to her and I took it. We got to talking and realized that we live close to each other. She was telling me how she is opening up her 2nd clothing boutique in Medford. I finally stopped in there last night (after my visit to the DMV). I wasn't planning on it but happened to see the sign and made a beeline for the 1st available spot. I have been meaning to get there since she opened. WOW! Was I glad I stopped. I had no idea what I was in for. I get so excited when I walk into a store and my heart starts to pound - I know I found a little treasure. That's what happened when I walked into Sandy Banks. So much to look at, so much to touch and so much to try! Her lines are classy and tailored, trendy and hip and fun & easy clothing for women - quality and very stylish finds....of course I ended up buying some stuff! I found a cozy fitted short sweater that buttons up and has a v-neck with a foldover collar and is a marled brown/ivory color. SOFT!!
