Their sign on the main road is knocked down so I really didn't know it even existed. Pasta was basic, but good. pizza was good but the middle got soggy quick. Nice atmosphere, they offer specials. Stopped in without a reservation and was lucky to be seated. Great selection pf wines available. The hostess sat me down, waited a bit to order a drink. She never showed me the specials. When other tables were shown the specials board and explained. I ordered a salad and stuffed cannelloni, they were ok. Would have liked to have seen the special board prior to ordering. A better choice would have been the pizza. read more

We went here on a change it would be good when I searched for an Italian place near me. We arrived at open but they were not quite ready for guests. The food was amazing! I'm giving this place 4 stars only because the delivery took 1.5 hours even though my location was 5 minutes away and we ordered right when they opened. However, the food was really good and warm. I had the canelloni and my hubby had the calzone and both were delicious! read more

This place is awesome. One they allow dogs. Two it is mad cheap compared two eating in the US. Maybe it is because I haven't compared to eating in the rest of Germany but for three appetizers, a beer, bottle water, two entrees, and dessert all for 37 euros before tax. A meal like that in the states can easily exceed 60 Usd. The food was delicious. Garlic bread with cheese is money and so is the caprice. Simple but light and flavorful. The lasagna was good with the sauce not being too heavy. My parmigiana was delicious with the fried mash potatoes. And finally the dessert was right on the money. It took 15 mins to make the chocolate soufflé butt it was well worth it. Not too sweet and very moist. Btw service was awesome even though there were only two people running the front with 6 to 8 tables filled. I just want to add that you need to make a reservation before you go. If they are busy they will not seat walk ins. That's how they manage with only two servers. read more

My husband and I just visited this place for lunch this fine Friday. I must admit that I am very pleased. I chose the Rigatoni Velverde. The gargonzola sauce was just right and the spinach was very fresh, no canned stuff here. My husband got the Pork Parmigian (spelling) with croquettes. This also came with a side salad. The atmosphere was very laid back and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. I must return after duty in order to sample their wines. One other thing. A lot of american users complain about "slow service". This is a restaraunt in GERMANY. If you want fast food, go to McDonalds. Otherwise, understand the way of life here. Dining isn't something that is rushed here. You can literally take hours to enjoy time and food with friends and family without wait staff bothering or rushing you. There is never a time I have gone here and not had an excellent meal. Pino (the owner) does a fantastic job and the wine list is superb. I have found with many local restaurants that the food is a bit on the salty side. I would suggest that when you order food here or elsewhere to tell them to hold the salt. read more

This is a nice restaurant that is a cross between Italian and German. The food and service are excellent. The wait staff speaks fluent English and the menu is two sided with English and German. I would recommend that you use the online reservation system to insure a table, and probably leave the kids at home. The food is really good and doesn't cost to much. Also, remember that when you dine in Germany, they expect you to stay a while, so what some will complain is slow, is actually the European way of dining. read more

This is our regular date nice place. It simply does not get any better than this for Italian food in the KMCC area. We have eaten at every Italian place in the area and hands down this is the place we would choose over any other location. Great Staff. Great Atmosphere. Great View. Superb food. Great Restaurant. Unbelievable. I posted a horrible time we had this past Saturday (21 June 2014), at this restaurant, and the restaurant took down my post the following day. So let me say this again and I will continue to say it over and over again. I had a horrible experience at this place and here's why: In March of this year, my girlfriend and I went to the restaurant and had a pretty good meal (it was during Fasching). Because it was not bad, we decided to go again to the restaurant this past Saturday. Upon our arrival, 1915, we noticed all the tables outside were occupied, we asked if we could wait for one to open up. Sure they said. We order drinks in the meantime. After 15 minutes we sat at a table (still no drinks, but OK). A waiter came to us at 1945 and took our order for drinks. We explained that we had ordered drinks 30 minutes ago so he took our order again. 1950 we finally got our drinks and wanted to order our food, but had to wait. At 2010 I flagged down the manager and told her that I was pretty sure she was busy, but would she mind taking our order. She said OK. My girlfriend made the mistake of ordering an appetizer along with a pizza. I also ordered a pizza because we figured it would take less time. At 2030 we got the appetizer and waited for the pizza. At 2045 we finally got our pizza I was upset and asked for the check at the same time. The manager came out and my girlfriend told her that she could not understand why it took so long for 2 pizzas and that the service was unacceptable. The manager smiled and said that they were a bit busy. She offered no apology, no "drink on the house" no discount. Now, we were not looking for anything like that, but it would have been cool if she had a smidgen of empathy. So for all of the reasons mentioned, I recommend that if they have the desire for Italian food here at this location, you must have lots of time to waste, eat/drink before you arrive, because it will take a long time and order everything at once (along with the check). We went to this restaurant on a Friday so it was somewhat busy; however we found the service to be very slow. We also found the food to be very salty. I had the Spaghetti Carbonara which has bacon in it so I expected it to be somewhat salty, but this was very salty. My husband had the Gnocchi and Gorgonzola sauce, he didn't think it was too salty and enjoyed it. He also got a side of Croquettes and found those to be too salty. There were quite a few people there so maybe the food is normally good and the chief was just having a bad day I don't know but I won't try it again. read more

The food was very good. It is a small space and a reservation would be best. The ravioli dishes arent very large but the casserole dishes (like lasagna or cannelloni) are almost big enough for 2. Every time I go here, whether for a dinner party with friends or a romantic dinner with my husband, both the pasta and the pizza are great, and the service is wonderful. If you don't speak very good german the host explains the specials menu to you, and they have an english menu for the regular items as well. The atmosphere is nice.
