Overall, we had a very good meal. There was a bit of a crowd control issue out front when we got there, but they seem to know what they are doing. We had a fantastic table. It was basically right on the street and with the windows it was absolutely lovely. We tried several things. The mixed seafood appetizer was quite good. It was basically a small sampling of a number of the dishes that they have and I liked all but one that with this personal preference. We also tried the Seabass, which was rolled and quite tasty. I had their fried calamari and shrimp and a delicious pizza! The food was really fresh and though I wasn't a huge fan of the arugula on pizza, it still tasted great! The restaurant itself has kind of an old fashioned themed. The service was really good. They are attentive and most of them can speak English. I ordered the gnocchi which was mediocre (not fresh) and my husband ordered the catch of the day. He was super disappointed with his fish. It definitely wasn't worth the price. Spontaneously walked in on a Saturday night without reservations, and we were fortunate enough to be seated without any hassle. I'd recommend making reservations in advance, though as I think we just got lucky. The pizza was reasonably priced but only okay, nothing exceptional. We walked down to the main road for dinner. One of those days where no one can decide, so we send walking in to the next place that has a lot of people in it. Being across from the ocean was nice. Unfortunately, it was raining that day and there wasn't much of a view. The mussels and clams served as a nice appetizer. I think it's antipasto di mare on the menu. I got fish for dinner. Every type comes cooked with the head on. They'll pull the meat off afterwards and bring it to you like that if the head freaks you out. A little pricier than other places I saw, but a good piece of fish. My friend got a steak, and wasn't a big fan. I'd stick to seafood in this part of Italy. read more

The house red was the best I've had so far on the Amalfi coast. I would not recommend the gnocchi; it was disappointing; flavorless!

This restaurant is a great choice in Maiori. My group of three ordered the sautéed seafood appetizer (mussels and clams in a white garlic parsley sauce), the chef's selection of fried foods appetizer, three steak entrees, two half liters of wine (red and white) and two beers. Total price came to 112€. All of us thoroughly enjoyed everything with no complaints. The steaks all came drowning in sauces which was unexpected but immensely flavorful. The waitress was a delight, checking on us just enough so we felt taken care of but not annoyed. She provided recommendations as requested and did not steer us wrong. The restaurant itself was nice, clean, unpretentious despite being waterfront, and had menus on Italian and English. It had a relaxed beach vibe. I strongly recommend this spot to others. read more

We had a great dining experience. Arrived at the restaurant at about 9:00pm and the place was fully packed, still managed to get a table within 2 minutes. All of the staff from the beginning were very courteous and friendly. We had the bruschetta to start which was delicious, it came with these little dough balls which seemed to be deep fried, also delicious. I had the Pasta with Lobster. Portion size was suitable for me but the lobster could have had more meat, only a few decent size bites. Overall I would eat it again in a heartbeat. My wife had the smoked mozzarella ravioli which was full of flavors. It did have a nice smokey taste, picture makes it look bigger than it actually was. We also enjoyed a bottle of red wine, took recommendation from our server. Dessert was a chocolate nut cake. Meal came to 63€ for everything. We would recommend going here any day! read more

The receptionist at our hotel recommended this restaurant and I am so glad she did! We went around 7pm which is probably when it opens, there were only a few tables already seated. The service was really great, friendly and attentive. We were even given complementary appetizer of this lemon pizza bread, which was really good. Southern Italy is known for their lemons so it was a great treat. I had the fettuccini with prawns, I originally ordered the lobster fettuccini but they didn't have lobster today :( the fettuccini was huge compared to the ones in the states. The sauce was tomato with herbs, so good! The prawns were huge as well but there was little meat in them, wish I had gone with the shrimp choice. For dessert we had the lemon cake, again sticking with their specialty. The cake was very moist and just a hint of lemon, not too overwhelming. read more

We ate here twice In as many days, first was for lunch we ordered salads which exceeded expectations. Huge bowls of delicious produce and shrimp or chicken and wonderful pizza oven bread. We returned for dinner the following evening. Bruschetta was fantastic, tomato and basil on more pizza oven bread. Eh, we didn't love it. It was our first meal, besides pizza of course, since arriving in Italy. We arrived just after it opened for dinner (7:15) and were quickly seated. Service was fast and friendly. I had a seafood dish with shrimp. It lacked some flavor and the pasta was hard. This is a side note and did not change my opinion -I always dislike when shrimp is served shell on but especially in a saucy dish! It comes complete head and all. My dinner companion also had a pasta dish, I think carbonara. Similarly, he said it lacked some flavor and the pasta was hard. This place was popping and quickly filled up. By far the best restaurant we visited on our holiday in Maiori. The food was delicious and there were plenty of it. The waitress and host were very friendly and when they saw, that we couldn't eat all of our food, they suggested a doggy bag Can highly recommend this restaurant. The prices are fair too. Excellent service and food! The staff wants you to keep wining and dining, so don't be surprised if they take a long time to bring out your bill. The scenery is great along the main road looking across to the sea. All the seafood dishes are top quality, as they catch everything fresh that day. Unbelievable lemon focaccia and butter mint lemon fettuccine. It was close to our hotel and I wish we could have gone back just for the pasta. I got the smoked mozzarella ravioli-I don't normally like smoked cheese-it's really rich for me-but I enjoyed it very much. The sauce made it great. My dish was missing several key ingredients described on the menu. When I inquired about the missing ingredients I was told twice that they were in the "sauce" when clearly they were not. Olives and capers are very easy to spot so this could not have been the case. I would have appreciated honesty instead of a cover up. Our other dish was fine and they ended up taking my dish off the bill. If you try this place be sure to speak up if your dish is not as expected. read more
