They are known for the best Truffle anything anywhere. lol. A little tricky to find and very small. Maybe 6 or 7 tables at most. I was surprised when I read the Yelp reviews that a few of my awesome Yelpers also dined here too and gave high marks so I was very excited to give them a try. After ordering some tasty vino we went the Focaccia with mozzarella, black truffle with a truffle cream sauce. The Focaccia was lite and a thin crust. Topped with some delicious mozzarella and black truffle made this appetizer and home run choice. After the Focaccia I decided to stay on theme and went with the Fettuccine al tartufo nero e porcini (fettuccine black truffle & porcini mushrooms). Holy cow, a delicious culinary delight. Some other hits of the table included the beef fillet with green pepper sauce & Digione mustard. Astice grigliato, verdure al vapore e maionese alla curcuma (Grilled lobster with steamed veggies in a mayonnaise turmeric sauce and a Lasagna, tartufo nero, funghi, mozzarella e grana (lasagna with blach truffle, mushrooms, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese) All were just amazing. Impeccable service and an old world Italian charm decor made this a delightful experience.

It was a busy restaurant but we were also there right around the big holiday of Ferragosto but I would wager it was mostly tourists in the restaurant. Our pastas were great; we wanted to stick with the Roman pastas for our dinner. This was also a very convenient location.

Although we do find it interesting that our first meal in Italy was as a western themed place. Made us a little nervous about the quality of the food. Although it was a steakhouse. We were seated in the fort like interior, only one other couple were there. Placed our order, husband a steak, with salad and me a Pizza. As we wait the place started filling up, Mother's Day, there were mainly Italian families. Our meals arrived an we were pleasantly surprised. Husband's steak was prepared to perfection with a very fresh salad topping it. My pizza was large and tasty. We could easily share it between us. The service was great, young woman friendly and filled our needs. The pricing was very reasonable.

He did not bring a spoon for my spaghetti. Suddenly he came up to me half way through with a spoon, rudely yanks my fork out of my hand and proceeds to "show me how to eat my spaghetti" with the spoon even though he refused to give me a spoon from the start. We ordered bottled water which arrived in a used and dirty bottle with mold around the rim. The place was filthy dirty. My husband's steak was filled with stringy gristle and fat. The prices were ridiculous.

I'd recommend anyone to go check this place out! I know my husband and I will for sure be back! Atmosphere 5/5 It was super spacious and almost rustic feeling. There is a lot of outside seating when the weather is nice. It was just a very inviting environment. Service 10/5 The service was amazing! We had the pleasure of having one of the owners there that night. Fabio took excellent care of us. Helped us discover things on the menu that would be perfect for my husband and I. He went above and beyond as well as the other staff. I will say with some of the staff spoke very little English, but it didn't effect our amazing last night! It was perfect from start to finish. Food 5/5 Food was great! Everything is on a skewer which was pretty cool. The potato skewer was probably my favorite because I love potatos. There's a cheese skewer that progresses in softness and depth of flavor. My husband got chicken, steak, and lamb. The steak was his favorite by far. And I got the vegetable skewer, I'd say it needed just a bit more seasoning on them but the cook was perfect! It was all very reasonably priced for everything that we got! Oh and the dipping sides and veggies for the bread and cheeses! Just stop, my mouth is watering just thinking on them. Such amazing and bold flavor combinations I've never had. I wanted to try them all!

Some people were having a small wedding party there and enjoying themselves. The place is very picturesque and it's worth going there just to snap a few pictures on the lake. We were sat down and immediately seen to by a friendly waiter (and the owner came by repeatedly to make sure we were taken care of), who made some suggestions based on our tastes and hunger level. Make sure you try their fish dishes (we went for a wide mix of options, such as prawns, oysters and eel) and, if it's summer time, sample some of their refreshing white wines. Topped off the meal with a unique dessert: home-made lemon ice cream served in a halved, huge lemon. The owner very kindly allowed me to sneak into his office and pay for the meal (my friends were about to get married, so it was a small gift to them). Considering the sheer quality of the food and service, the price is quite reasonable. If you tried to get food THIS GOOD anywhere else on the planet, you'd go broke. If you're anywhere near Lago di Bracciano, do yourself a favor and go. I intend to go back whenever I can!
