I have tolerated their nasty CSRs, their ludicrous delays, their diminishing hours, their refusal to update my records. But this is just fifty bridges too far, this garbage. Take your business elsewhere, folks. This new version of Corner Drug is really an even more incompetent version of the old one, if you can believe it. Again--*ten days.* *Necessary medications.* A CSR who *actually tried to blame me for their screw-ups.* Go to Fred Meyer. Go up to Bandon. Buy your drugs online. Just don't use this place. For one thing when you get your goods and go to pay you deal with a live human being and can enjoy a little chit chat as they ring you up. I don't buy much in the food department as most of it is way too salt laden but cleaning supplies, pet food, birthday cards, bird seed, mouthwash and more are all on my regular list and more. You still get to deal with real people here and that means a lot to me.

They did not have a carton. Huh? Camel is a MAJOR brand so everything they offer should be in stock, right? The BiMart in North Bend has been my backup supplier of cartons before and always had them so what is Coos Bay BiMart's problem? Next I get asked for ID. I am 70 and obviously well past the legal age of 21 but okay, here's my ID. I then get asked to take it out of my wallet, which is difficult. Common sense is totally lacking from the lady running the checkout stand and when I complain, she threatens to call management and not sell me my Camels. Now I am really pissed after all this BS. If you don't want to deal with idiots and fools who cannot keep stuff in stock and cannot even tell when a senior citizen is well past the legal age without going super intrusive, then AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS!!! BTW, I have a Lifetime Membership card dating back to 1970 when BiMart first opened in North Bend. This is the worst encounter I have had with them in over half a century.

I've done business with them for years as they are my neighborhood drug store! I have no prescription coverage w/Medicare and had a very expensive prescription of Lidocaine to fill for my more recent back issues. I normally never call around to check prices as Semperts has always gone above and beyond applying a discount card (that all other pharmacies have too, yet tell nobody about, not willingly anyway), and here is why the tears. Walgreens wanted $628, Walmart wanted $287.22... the heroes at Semperts? Less than half of the Walmart price. This is not the first time they have been amazing... not by any means. They care about you and me! They aren't a big box store that doesn't care... How often is it that you find any store these days that cares deeply about people and customer service?

I've gone here to pick up a prescription and for a Covid booster shot. The prescription was quick and easy. The booster shot took a bit more time than I expected. I called to get an appointment time but when we got to the store-20 minutes early-there were a number of other people waiting. The gentleman giving the booster shots was called to the drive-thru window so he was running here and there. It took an hour past my appointment time to get in and out. It would have been good to have him only working the appointments. But all places seem to be short staffed these days. This Walgreens is clean, well stocked and service is good. I will definitely be back!
