When I went in at 11:30 to pick it up the pharmacy was closed and there were a couple of other customers w/the same issue. The cashier didn't know when it wld be open again. When I explained my problem she said that legally, once a prescription is filled, it can't be transferred to another pharmacy so I called my mom's Dr. They called in a new prescription to Coast Community and it was ready in 30 minutes. I asked the Dr to transfer all my mom's regular prescriptions to Coastal. I had already paid RiteAid online so now I also have to figure out how to get a refund. The fact that they left the poor cashier out w/no info for anxious, angry people was unfair. She was really polite and trying her best, but there was nothing more she could do. We've had issues with that pharmacy b4 but I gave it another try.....never again!

Take your business elsewhere, folks. This new version of Corner Drug is really an even more incompetent version of the old one, if you can believe it. I've gone here to pick up a prescription and for a Covid booster shot. The prescription was quick and easy. The booster shot took a bit more time than I expected. I called to get an appointment time but when we got to the store-20 minutes early-there were a number of other people waiting. The gentleman giving the booster shots was called to the drive-thru window so he was running here and there. It took an hour past my appointment time to get in and out. It would have been good to have him only working the appointments. But all places seem to be short staffed these days. This Walgreens is clean, well stocked and service is good. I will definitely be back!
