The #1 reason to shop at Rite Aid is to purchase some Thrifty Ice Cream!! Wifey and I absolutely positively bought some before heading out of the store. Just too hard to pass up no matter which store we are at. We actually dropped by because we needed some sunblock. It was a hot day, and we were going hiking. Spotted this Rite Aid as we were driving through the town of Burney. First impression as I walked in was....wow! This Rite Aid looks awesome! It was nicely remodeled inside the store. Anyways, we bought what we needed. Service was fine. Eating a few delicious flavors of their Thrifty ice cream always makes a trip to a Rite Aid so much more enjoyable! read more

The pharmacy was very rude . The woman helping customers let me stand at the register for over 5 min without a customer anywhere in site while she rearranged things and took out some trash. Then when she finally decided to come and help me she was extremely rude. She asked for birthdate and I gave her the wrong year for the birthdate to my daughter mind you I have three and many things going on in my life I don't need crap from someone who is supposed to be helping me. She said I have no one in my system with that date. I said oh try 97 she says you dont even know your own daughters birthdate ? I said I don't even know mine half the time . Then when she gave me my change back she said here's your change four dollars and some cents I can't remember it's too far back for me to remember now. I mean how rude can you be?? I can't believe people and their customer service these days .... read more

Rude! My husband and I came in just as closing and tried the doors. Two young girls started laughing as they went past us to their cars. We then realized they were employees at Rite aid. Didnt bother telling us they were closed, just laughed at us. So disappointing read more

I just had the worst Pharmacy experience at the Rite Aid in Burney Ca. I was trying to fill my elderly Fathers prescription for pain medication which I had been getting filled there for the last 3 years with no problems. However on this occasion that wasn't the case! I was treated with disrespect! They at one point indicated I was a liar and had falsified the script as they said it wasn't due to be refilled for two more days even though it was clearly written to be filled on 3/23/18 with the previous month being filled on 2/23/18 4 weeks earlier. Turns out the previous month they had mistakenly filed it as a 30 day script when it's a 28 day script! As I tried to explain this they became irritated and at one point told me to take my business else where! As most know it's really hard to get pain medication filled these days and any changes are at best difficult so I wanted to work this out as best we could and get it taken care of but in the end I had to take my business to the Safeway Pharmacy. They (Safeway) immediately discovered the problem and helped me every way possible to get this taken care of. Even after Rite Aid must have known their mistake they spitefully put a hold on the refill. I had to have the Doctor call Rite Aid and request the hold be taken off and after that they still had not corrected this I had to call the stores general Manager and have him demand this be corrected. With in minutes of that call they released the hold and Safeway took care of us with in 30 minutes! I will never use the Burney Ca. Rite Aid Pharmacy again and wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy!!! There was more to this and I am happy to share this nightmare of an experience with anyone in the hopes of sparing them the same horrible experience!!!!! I would give them a minus 5 stars if possible!!! read more
