Both pharmacists at the W 65St and Franklin Rite Aid are extremely helpful and committed to their customers' health. They are problem solvers when there is an issue with prescriptions. It is a shame that Rite Aid is closing this store. read more

Pharmacy is great...check out clerks are very unfriendly. Make you wait...don't ask for cards for discounts...act like they are doing you a favor by letting you spend your money to pay their salary. Very poor customer service!! read more

Screw you, CVS... I found a pharmacy to fill my prescription in a timely manner, and the staff members that helped me out were friendly and got the job done. After having a prescription faxed to my local CVS yesterday morning, I went in a few hours later to pick it up. I was in a time crunch as I was heading to the airport to catch a flight to (you guessed it) - Cleveland! But unfortunately, my script wasn't ready and the fellow at CVS wasn't nice about it either. So, I asked the lovely Cara L for a pharmacy suggestion and she referred me to the fine folks at Rite Aid. I'd never filled a Rx at Rite Aid before, but they asked me up front (on the phone) for all of the info they needed to transfer it, and sure enough... it was ready several hours later when I arrived! According to Cara, there are some shady folk that frequent this drugstore, but the nasty weather must've scared them away last night as the store had very few customers when we were there. Yaya, the woman working behind the pharmacy counter, was sweet as could be, and I only owed a $10 copay. Bonus! Now, let's just hope these meds kick in asap! read more

I think I've been way too harsh on ya, Rite Aid. Yes, the staff is still a little slow. Well, more like really slow. But they're usually very, very nice. I've also learned that their issues with my Rx wasn't really all their fault. Some of it, yes, but mostly it was just because I had crappy insurance. Now that I have great insurance, life is much better--and dealing with the pharmacy here is much easier. Plus, they pretty much have anything you might need in case it's late and no one else is open. You know... just in case of emergencies. Bandaids, medicine, milk, wine, cheese, wine, As Seen On TV treasures, wine, make-up, GNC vitamins, wine, toiletries, wine and wine. Lastly, while most everything is a little pricier than your average store because of the convenience factor, they have great sales sometimes and their wine is always thrifty. read more

Let me start out by saying that I am a medical student and I have a decent understanding of how a pharmacy should work. This pharmacy and its employees are unorganized, rude, slow, and incompetent. I am astounded by how incompetent and hands down blatantly unqualified the pharmacy technicians are. I truly believe their level of incompetence could result in a life threatening event. I cannot say enough terrible things about this pharmacy. read more

I would say most times I go to this store, I wind up frustrated. Once, I pulled up to the Rx drive through and waited behind an SUV... and waited... and waited.... and waited. Finally I went in and the pharmacy cashier said that the SUV was "picking up scripts for like 5 or 6 people at once." Why would the window cashier not ask that person to come inside so as to not inconvenience anyone else in the drive through? Pharmacy most of the time seems like they don't know what they're doing. Very little consistency. The worst thing is this though: 2 times in a row now I've paid at the front register for food, with an EBT card. Then they tell me I owe a cash balance when I had nothing taxable. "Oh, it's for 'kid's cents'" which is evidently something I signed up for as part of the wellness card program. It rounds your purchase up to the next highest dollar automatically, and that difference goes to local charity, or so they say. Well, the first time, it created a problem that held up the line by 15 minutes, right before Christmas. The manager took far too long to get to the front for a void. The next time, I deliberately told the cashier I had an EBT card, thinking oh she can disable whatever it is and it will be fine. It wasn't. Same ordeal. I said to the manager that it might be something they want to look into in order to avoid inconveniencing half the people in line who just want to get in and out. Overall given all the frustration, I avoid this store now. read more

I can't say enough terrible things about this place. Aside from being out of stuff, staff never having any idea what's going on (they make you pay for gift cards with cash or debit-never has any other store done this) their pharmacy SHORTED me on my prescription. Since I have no way to prove it I'm basically out 5 days early. Good thing it's not heart medication!!Incompetent, slow, unsafe, these are only a few words that come to mind when I think about this place. Stay away!! read more

Worst rite aid ! Allison in pharmacy is the worst pharmacist i ever been too she's rude and makes you feel very unwelcome

I generally have very mixed feelings about this location. Today, however I am just absolutely disgusted! I always order my refills with a few days leeway time just in case an issue arises. I ordered my refills and was told that they would have to order them in. Not a huge deal but a little frustrating considering that I always fill the same medications like clockwork, every 30 days, and have done so for the last couple of years. I wasn't able to get to the pharmacy the first day they are available (yesterday) due to my work schedule (16 hour shift), but still had that day's meds, and I would be able to get there today to pick them up and not miss any doses. I pull up to the pharmacy window (4 hours before they close) to find a sign on the window saying that the location was closed for today and would reopen tomorrow. It listed another 2 locations and their phone numbers. After calling the other centers and explaining that I was trying to pick up my prescriptions, and that since they had to be ordered, I had already been waiting for a few days to get them, and that I am now completely out of my medications, they just told me that my location would be open the next day. I am assuming that perhaps there may have been a COVID-19 pt in there because it looked like they were getting ready for a "deep clean". Again, I understand that things happen, but I received NO phone call, or notification of any kind. The other locations were also just pretty much "Yeah, sorry about your luck! They will be open tomorrow". So essentially, I drove 20 minutes to get medications from a pharmacy that was closed, and didn't bother to notify the numerous patients who were counting on picking up their already filled prescriptions today. There were a lot of other people just as screwed as I was! For a lot of us, missing medications can literally be life-threatening. While I understand that things happen, this was NOT HANDLED WELL!! We should have received a phone call, and the other locations should have been prepared to give us the medications (if only a day's supply) that were already filled at our location that closed without warning or notice. Unfortunately, it seems that the US pharmacy industry as a whole, places very little importance on ensuring that people have access to their medications. I understand that often times the issue lies with the prescriber, or insurance. But often, like today, it's the pharmacy that dropped the ball. It's no wonder that this country's medication compliance is absolute CRAP! Taking the medications is easy. GETTING the medications on a reliable basis is damn near impossible. So no medications today. Should be an interesting night! read more

I do like Rite Aid with their wellness + rewards. One day I paid only some cents for buying about 6 dollars of items. Amazing. It's next to my house. But, prices are kinda high, maybe because of the quality of goods. That works out!! read more

Whoever was working the pharmacy Feb 6th around 6 is extremely unprofessional. I had my prescription transferred to a different rite aid, couldn't remember which one, called to figure out if this was the correct one. Lady answers asked me my DOB then proceeds to continue a conversation with someone else maybe a customer..ok no big deal ..the first time. She asks again like 3 MORE DAMN TIMES while still talking to the dude and mumbles under her breathe "these people on the phone" ??? Finally I get my question across just wondering if I have a script at this location, she tells me no and 4 numbers , then continues talkin to dude. I ask "what street?" because I couldn't understand what numbers she said and I have to ask like 7 more ******* times 'what street ?' at this point I'm practically yelling in the phone hoping she'll hear as shes still talking to the same damn person. This the kinda ridiculous ass person trusted behind the pharmacy counter ??????? Are we serious?!? Bold as hell. read more

helpful and friendly staff, Zori always greets me with a smile and lets me know what deals Rite Aid has that day, every time i come in. they're by my house so i go here a lot, and i'm grateful to have such a good pharmacy/convenience store nearby. the fifth star is for all the improvements they made during their renovation last year. read more

not bad they have better deals than the other rite aids and their store is bigger :)
