I would love for this establishment to know all the wonderful things about my husband, he is and an amazing husband, father, teacher, and Veteran. Unfortunately all these wonderful things are lost to some based on the color of his skin. No one should be made to feel singled out or discriminated against just for walking into a store. CALLED our local Rural King in Elyria to verify that they still did perform this service. While on the phone I specifically asked if they had a limit as we had about 7 or 8 batteries to recycle. The young man said no, no limits. Loaded up our batteries, drove 20 miles to the store where I called, unloaded the batteries, went to the customer service desk where we were promptly told that Rural King no longer recycles batteries. Wasted over an hour of our time plus gas for our vehicle. I would think all the employees should know the policies of the store where they work. Aggravated and disappointed with Rural King today. I have NOT received the couch and after multiple phone calls to Kirkland's, nothing has happened. They WON'T allow you to speak w/a supervisor. And they have to send a 'message' to their Supervisor. When I called back, they informed me a supervisor had NOT YET READ MY FILE. It honestly doesn't surprise me. I then asked for my money back. This is now January 14th. Their on line order states you will have your couch in 4-7 business days. You can do the math, November 30th to January 14th. What a surprise to find out they won't' allow you to speak to anyone in the refund department. They have to 'escalate' your call. (why wasn't my call escalated the first 8 times I called? Now I am at the mercy of the supervisor to review my file and contact Fed Ex. Oh yes, that is correct, they won't refund my money until they contact Fed Ex and they get their couch back. Does anyone see the crazy hamster wheel I am on? I urge you to NOT BUY FURNTURE THAT NEEDS TO BE SHIPPED FROM THEM.

The other day I got so frustrated with disorganized and unhelpful staff that I decided I would drive to Solon And see what they had. I was greeted three times. I had two employees ask if they could help me. I thought I knew what I needed but another came and asked if he could help me and he took me right to the plumbing item I was looking for and was knowledgeable about what I was trying to do. The cashier was sweet and treated me like a human. From now on I'll dry the extra distance and still get home quicker!

They do not sell furniture legs, but they do sell the ever popular and modern hairpin legs. They're made in metal. We felt that for our project the cost was not viable. We did walk around and found so many neat woodworking machines, tools, wood and more. There is a room full of live edge wood pieces. I feel that they were reasonably priced. I also noticed that in another room this lady was working on a wood piece. It seems that they may be offering woodworking classes, I'm not sure. So in conclusion although they did mot have what I needed, I'm glad to have visited. It opens my eyes and mind to other projects.
