Be prepared to be in the middle of checking out and she will abruptly leave you and ask to help the next person in line in the next window. When I asked why she left to help another customer in the middle of our transaction, she placed her hands on her hips and barked at me, 'I wait on more than one person at a time, this is the way I do it, so deal with it'. So I'm left standing there waiting, and to get her attention, indicated that I was ready to pay holding up a twenty dollar bill - she barked again, are you ready to pay? I love that it is 24 hrs, as I often forget to pick up my medications until 10pm when I am supposed to be taking it. The pharmacy however is horrible when it comes to customer service. I call in my prescription the night before and it says it will be ready by 10am the next day. I arrive at the pharmacy at 7pm (9hrs after they said it would be ready) and that have not processed it. I have even came in in person and asked for the refill and it still was not ready when they said it would be. I find this very frustrating. What is the point of calling in the prescription early, if you just have to sit and wait for it to be filled anyway? I really hope they remedy this issue in their pharmacy. Maybe they need to hire more staff to make sure the prescriptions get refilled in the time frame they tell their customers. read more

I'm so tired of this pharmacy. They have called me more than once to tell me my prescriptions are ready and when I get there it's not. This is also true when I have tried to use automatic refill line. I have even waited an hour past the set time to pick up, and it's still not ready. Extremely insensitive! Hey made us wait for a half hr and when we returned to pick up the prescription they said it wouldn't be ready for another half an hr! And had a yr and a half and a 6yr old who was suffering from strep in the car. In spite of letting them know of the conditions of the kids in the car there wasn't any sense of urgency! The staff here is lazy and apathetic. I found out after 6 months I had been paying cash for my prescriptions because they had info on me from 20 years ago. When I finally asked about it I was asked to just pay and change it later. I swear the girl at the register was chewing gum and twirling her hair in boredom. I was told I can be reimbursed for 30 days but no mention of the 6 months I have been coming here. And she did not want me to do that at the time. She told me to come back later. When I asked the pharmacist the next time he said I had same information as before on file. He said they cannot look up insurance online and I would have to pay cash AGAIN. Ugh. This has got to be the biggest Rite Aid I've ever seen! Located in a convenient location just off the 26 and in a large shopping plaza with a Safeway and Trader Joe's. Across the street is another shopping plaza! Perfect one-stop place for all your shopping needs. read more

Just stopped by here for a diet Mtn Dew while my friend picked up her roommate's prescription and was surprised at how enormous the store was. This Rite Aid even carries a bunch of diet foods/organic foods which pleased me quite a bit. Everything is well organized and the staff are very well-mannered and friendly. The pharmacy was extremely slow which seems to be common at most locations. I hear that this location is open 24 hours which is super convenient for grabbing something when you're sick later at night. I definitely will be coming back here when I'm on this side of town. read more

If I were to give an award for 'most improved' to any business I frequent on a regular basis, this Rite Aid would win it in a heartbeat! Last summer and fall, it seemed like I could never find sale items even if I went first thing Sunday morning. Recently, it's gotten to the point that I can easily go in mid-week (and even Saturday in many cases) and still find plenty of anything I may want on the shelves. The employees are also friendly and seem to understand Rite Aid's policies better than those I've dealt with at many other locations! read more

This pharmacy really needs to get themselves better organized. I refilled my prescription on the phone this morning at 6am and was asked when I wanted to return to pick it up. I picked 2pm so as to give them extra time and I could pick it up after work. I worked over 11 hours and headed over to pick up my prescription. Had to wait almost 10 minutes for me to reach the front counter only to be told that my order was in the Que and I should wait about 15-20 more minutes while they work on it. What is even the point of calling it in if you have to wait to have your order to be filled anyway. read more

3 stars only cause the pharmacy takes FOREVER!!!! I've been going here years before the remodel and nice as it looks, it's gotten slower as far as customer service is concerned. The prices are good an selection is as well. They just need to pick up the pace. I'll give them a couple more tries then off to walgreens. read more

Walking into the store... Even though its been "updated" or some form of remodeled, it still feels old on the inside. Generally only go in to pick up prescriptions and when it comes to that, i pleased with service - they all know me, the information - they are glad to help and discuss any concerns, it is open 24 hours for any needs and they will call and text you to let you know your prescription is ready. It's located next to Safeway and Trader Joes, so I can get several things done at one time. All in all, except for the feel if the place, we like it as our pharmacy and quick grab items. read more

I do not often write negative reviews but I do not think it is fair to take my business elsewhere without notifying the business in hopes they will correct the problem that's driving customers to other pharmacies. The pharmacists I've spoken to in this store are great. Getting a prescription filled is a nightmare. Apparently need a new system for handling prescriptions. This has happened several times. Can't figure out the trick to making a smooth transaction. Should not take so long to fill Rx. I won't return. This store is in my neighborhood and I wanted it to work but isn't worth the aggravation. Here's hoping you get your act together for the sake of future customers. read more

The worst pharmacy ever!!! I had to wait for a day to get a prescription. The next day i go to get it and say them that my insurance needs to be updated, they say it will take another 45 minutes. The same day i had another prescription for my son. That too took several hours. I see a lot of people already shouting at them there and they pay no attention to anyone. All they say is that there is just one person to help out! I am moving my pharmacy and if anyone needs to get their medicines faster please NEVER EVER go to rite aid! PS. I even called up the number to check if the prescriptions are available. No one answers the call. Worst customer service! read more

It is a great little store with very good selections and easy parking, but the pharmacy is not the greatest. We have had our share of trouble there recently. They can really be a pain to deal with and it can take multiple calls and trips. I have dealt with much worse, but I would rather not deal with these folks again so we are looking for a different store to work with. I think the Rite Aid corp really does care, from my discussions with senior management, so I am going to try a different store. read more

Horrible pharmacy!! This is my second time here, first time took forever even after I called and was told my prescription was ready for pick up....had not been touched. Thought I would give them a second chance and completely let me down. My wife called to see if prescription was ready , was told by pharmacy rep that not only was it ready but also told her the total dollar amount. Again, I come to pick it up and she wasn't even in the system so the person on the phone didn't know what she was talking about! Was never touched so I was told they would rush it because I'm waiting...I am writing this review from the pharmacy as I have been waiting for almost an hour and a half! Walk up to the counter to demand status and saw the script setting in the basket STILL NOT TOUCHED!! I hate this place and not only will I never return here but will also file a complaint with any and all state agencies as possible! STAY AWAY!! read more

This place is a HUGE RIP OFF!!! I normaly get my prescription filled at Costco for only $7.50, but I got to Costco too late that day. We decided to try Rite Aid on 185th because they are open 24hrs. I'm a veteran who is covered by the VA, so I don't have regular insurance. Going to Rite Aid was a HUGE mistake. First they won't process any prescriptions without proof of insurance first (I guess Rite Aid thinks those without insurance can just die if they need meds). Second, they won't take my VA medical card as proof that I'm covered. Third, the prescription that only costs $7.50 at Costco somehow costs $134.00 at Rite Aid. I told the pharmacist at Costco about my experience with Rite Aid and they were shocked that Rite Aid was getting away with doing that to it's customers. I can understand maybe a $10-$20 increase in price, but not $126.50!!!! That's criminal!! read more

I haven't even set a foot in the door (neither of the two I was born with, nor the one from the foot of the cane I'm cursed with) and I'm already dissatisfied with the service. Unless whomever is currently working was being robbed, or everyone was to busy playing hide and seek to answer the phone. I called 6 times, to both the pharmacy and the general merchandise and received no answer of being open. The phone just ran continuously before eventually ending back at the main menu. I doubt there's a line out the door at 1am, and can't figure any real reason a phone could not be answered, or could go ignored while ringing for 2mins (each call took this long, after hitting the appropriate key and by-passing the schpiel) though while waiting I thought of many things they could be doing instead of answering the phone, but none of them were work related and all of them were NSFW. So, now I will be going down there, hopefully not as big a waste of my time as these phone calls were (all made from the comfort of my safe 1st world couch) but with their current track record of bad reviews, I guess I should expect the same service the other reviewers received and should instead just be grateful that the mega-corporate overlords have tricked people into overnight slave shifts, so that I might have convenience at these ungodly hours. I guess we'll see how it goes. Maybe I should just drive 30 mins to the 24 Super Deluxe Walmart in Vancouver, but then I'd have to end my not shopping at Walmart streak. We'll see how this goes. This review is for the substandard pharmacy. Every single time we get a prescription filled (2-3 per month) it takes all day. Today the doctor called in a prescription for my wife at 11. She showed up at 2:50. There were no customers there and she was told it would be another 45 minutes. She waited an hour and a half with 2 small kids and finally left because it was getting too close to dinner. They said they had her phone number and they would call. It's now 6pm and no call. This happens EVERY time. The last time I went in there for pain meds after a car accident, I waited HOURS after they said it would be ready for 800 mg ibuprofen. That's a pretty common drug. I literally don't have time to tell every bad experience there but it's just easier to say I've had a couple ok experiences. It doesn't matter that it's 24 hour. We've gone back the next day for prescriptions that weren't ready the day before and been told "Sorry, it's still not ready, the night shift didn't do anything". read more

The pharmacy in this rite aid is awful. I've had prescriptions be called in for a refill the day before, and they tell me it will be an hour and a half wait when I go to pick it up the next day. Or they'll give me an estimate of an hour and a half, I come back two hours later, and they'll give me yet another estimate for an hour and a half. Their pharmacy staff is completely uncaring and fairly despondent, and simply will tell you "I know, it sucks" when you complain that they should have given a better time estimate. Will be refilling my prescriptions elsewhere from now on, lesson learned. read more

I have been a loyal customer of Rite Aid for over a decade. The local Rite Aid back home in Nashville TN was the best pharmacy ever. They knew me by first name, they were very fast, they handled insurance issues quickly, and had excellent customer service in town. Then, I moved to Oregon and was impressed by this pharmacy's size and 24 hour service. Boy, what a deception! Several times I had to wait 2 hours to pick Rx up... at 2AM!! I have my prescriptions on auto-refills on Rite Aid's website... do I get them refilled automatically? Nope. I have to call every month to get them refilled. Not to mention they often have issues with them running insurance claims incorrectly,or the rudeness of their employees (they seemed overworked). They do not communicate with each other. Last night, after waiting for 2 hours for a pick up (even though it was called in a day in advance), they could not get the insurance billing figured out. Even though they have been using the same everything for the last 3 months. I HAD ENOUGH. I will be transferring all prescriptions to other pharmacies that are located closer to me. Do yourself a favor and find a new pharmacy. Everytime I've been there it has been nothing but issues. Phoned in to check on my son's antibiotics after he contracted pneumonia and was told it would be ready in an hour. I said ok no problem. I show up 2hrs later and wait in line only to discover it hadn't even been started yet. They told me it would be ready in 15 mins. Again, I say ok no problem, and go next door to pick up some things from Safeway. I come back 30 mins later, wait in line, again, only for them to tell me that they only have one of the medications prescribed dont have the other antibiotic in stock and that it could be 1-2 days before it is in. This is not acceptable. He has pneumonia and cant wait 1-2 days. I understand that stores run out but they should have been upfront to begin with so my child didnt have to wait. I had the other prescription sent to a different pharmacy and I began to ask questions about the prescription they did have, amoxicillin, and the pharmacist could not answer any of my questions without having to go and consult another pharmacist each time. This is the first time I've ever yelped or left feedback about a business but I've just had so many negative experiences here that I had share. I won't be going back and if anybody reading this is considering using this pharmacy then I would highly reccomend going elsewhere. They care about your dollars and not your health and well being. read more

If there was a zero, this is how I would rate this pharmacy. I don't think they care about customer retention. Example...I go in and I am told that the wait will be 20 minutes. 45 minutes later, I still am waiting for my prescription, which is still not done. If it was going to be an hour, tell me that. So next month, on refill, I call in to pharmacy so that there will not be a wait. I am told it will be done by 1 pm today. The following day at 4 pm it is still not done and I must wait 20 minutes to get prescription refilled. I called customer service on the 800 number on receipt. They told me I would be contacted in 24 hours. That was 3 weeks ago. Really?? Any pharmacy is better than this one!!! I will be transferring prescriiption away from RiteAid. The other RiteAid store in our neighborhood is exactly the same. read more

Avoid this pharmacy if possible. Worst customer service I have ever seen!!!! I have never had a prescription ready on time. I have even been given the wrong medication from this pharmacy, so I do not use them unless absolutely necessary. This evening I had to have my doctor phone in a prescription and I was concerned it wouldn't be done until after 9 pm so I had to use this pharmacy. The doctor phoned in the prescription at 7 pm, I went at 8 pm and the gal at the counter said it had not been sent - I asked if she was sure because I know my doctor is very dependable and would have sent it in. FINALLY, a pharmacist checked their voicemail and the prescription WAS phoned in. I was then told it would be a two hour wait!!! I plan to go back in two hours, and fully expect that the order will not be ready. They act like they don't want your business, and are putting them out by making them do their job.
