The pharmacy doesn't pick up the phone for starters.. They gave me the wrong medication on a transfer prescription. I spoke to the pharmacist, Diane, about getting the wrong insulin from this pharmacy. Diane lied and said it was the transferring pharmacies fault. I called to verify the transferring pharmacy sent the correct prescription. I spoke again with Diane who rushed me off the phone saying it was now an insurance problem. Excuse after excuse for giving me the wrong medication for my diabetes. The mistake could've cost me my life if I wasn't wearing a continuous glucose monitor with an alarm. read more

After being unable to get anyone to answer the phone, I drove in to pickup my granddaughter's prescription. This was sent to them yesterday and the counter person told me that it was not filled. In fact, it had not even been started. He then proceeded to tell me that with only one pharmacist and one tech that it would take about four hours to count out 30 pills. If I treated my customers the way that they do here, I'd be fired. Plain and simple. No one will hold these folks accountable and the service shows it. If it weren't for the fact that they were the only place in town that had the medicine I'd never do business here again. read more

You can not reach the Pharmacy by phone!! Was calling to check on a prescription, and kept being re-cycled thru their automated system! After 40 min of hitting "speak to someone in the Pharmacy" and then back to menu. Twice it was like someone hung up the phone on me because I wouldn't give up! Now they are not open on weekends. I am new to the area, about 40 min away, but I guess the only way to find out if your prescription is filled is to physically go in to the store!!! read more

Rite Aid is Rite Aid, and this store was no exception. They're normally pretty clean, and you can get what you need and then some in most cases. We went right after Labor Day and they had a lot of their summer stuff on clearance. Only thing preventing a five-star review is the lack of CPAP supplies and no scoop shop like the stores in California. read more

Rite Aid in Klamath Falls Oregon does not answer their phones on any of their lines. Even from the option of if you are a physician calling. I am home bound and cannot go stand in a long line. I have had a UTI for over a week and need to know when a prescription is ready so I can have someone pick it up for me. I can't ask someone to pick it up if it isn't ready and waste their time, gas, etc. and my small ss money to pay them to make a useless trip. Update: My provider sent in another request this morning. We called later to verify, and still could not get through, (endless voice-mail loop followed by them disconnecting). Still, we went in *again*, six hours later, and the pharmacy claimed they had no request. So, trying to get a life-saving drug is, apparently, not possible with this Rite-Aid. I'm fairly certain the only reason this place stays in business is because of the lack of several pharmacy options in this town. First time I filled here a few months ago, I opted to wait while they filled the prescription. She said no more than 30 minutes. I sat there, in direct visual contact with the staff in the pharmacy, for 45 minutes. Finally I went up to see what the hold up was... her response "OH! I was just going to call your name"... yeah, sure.. you've been staring at me this entire time! Give them another shot since they're closest to my apartment. Decide to give them a full 24 hours to fill my prescription since I'm a full time student that works full time, I don't like my time to be wasted. I call the next day at 10am asking if it was available for pick up. "Oh we had to order it, it will be ready between 1p and 2p today". Great, I say! I'll pick it up after class on the way home. Show up at 230pm. Tech: "It's not ready". Me: "I called this morning and was told it would be ready between 1p and 2pm today!" Tech: "Yeah. I'm not sure why it's not ready". Um. What??? She said it would be half an hour. For a second I almost waited, then I remembered that they don't even tell you if you're sitting 10 feet away from them that it's ready and decide I'll try picking it up the next day, now giving them *48 hours* to fill. This is unacceptable! I don't know how these completely incompetent, retarded ass women even could have passed a remedial pharmacy tech program to work here, but this is disgraceful. This pharmacy really needs help with customer service for some employees! I had a person drop the F bomb on me and tell me " I can't take this anymore" and stormed out of the building! They are so slow and they close for a half hour for lunch? That's ridiculous! We came here two days ago to get a prescription and they never input my wife's information, so it wasn't filled! I talked to a manager about the two situations that we experienced! He was very nice and listened to our disgruntled experiences!!!! He actually told us that we should use another pharmacy We will never use this pharmacy again! read more

There is a serious problem with trying to contact the store. Any time you try to contact the pharmacy and try to speak to an associate, you are either left in a phone loop for upwards of 15 minutes or hung up on (or in some cases both). This is not a one time issue and is completely unacceptable. It is even on the Yelp reviews for the page. The other issue (and this is what is making me switch pharmacies) is the fact that when there is an issue with a prescription that will cause a delay, they do not contact you. Case in point: I called in a refill for a prescription around a week ago (6 days ago). I haven't heard anything, and am down to my last pill. We called the pharmacy and were told that I refilled the prescription too early and they will not fill it. When asked why no one contacted me, I was told "We don't do that, but we probably should. Horrible!! I gave them a paper prescription for my son a week ago and went to pick it up and the girl tells me it wasn't filled because it was wrinkled and it looked old. Asked if I had a newer prescription I said no because the doctor gives me 3 months at a time and that was the last one she says ok we will fill it it'll be 40 minutes and I said it should have been filled days ago why didn't someone contact me? She didn't know why and then she comes back and says that my insurance is expired. I then call my insurance and they say his coverage is active. I tried to call the pharmacy to let them know and of course they didn't answer!! So I will be going back and pulling all of my prescriptions to take to another pharmacy in town. The pharmacy never picks up it's phone, and it took 24 hours for them to transfer a medication I had at a Walgreens in California. They took my insurance information down twice because they threw it away the first time, and had a ton of issues with my insurance that they didn't tell me about until I showed up. I had to go there 3-4 different times within 24 hours just to get everything resolved. The 2 stars is because I was able to get a few over the counter items I wanted. read more

My story is a long one. I've been unable to return home to California because of the Coronavirus crisis and am voluntarily self-quarantining with my family. We only leave their home when it's vital. A friend from back home picked up and mailed my prescriptions on Saturday but due to the virus precautions, was only able to send them through a self-service option at the post office. As of while I'm typing this review, the package has not arrived. Meanwhile, I have called my doctor's office ten times and due to being required to work from home, I can't speak to her. The receptionist claimed she sent her messages in some way. My doctor "returned" my frantic calls via some form that does not make my phone even ring. I had the phone IN MY HAND and missed her calls. It went straight to voicemail every single time. After being played with like this for a day and a half and being completely out of one of the prescriptions, and suffering from scary side effects, you can imagine how I was feeling. Anyways, Ashley, in the pharmacy, has been amazing. She is the ONLY person other than my family who even helped me get through this mess. Not only did she patiently listen to my situation; she called the pharmacy I use back home and got them to transfer my prescription to her! She had it filled in two hours AND called to inform me that it was ready for pick up! She was absolutely wonderful and I couldn't be more grateful to her and any other staff who were involved. She went above and beyond being an employee. She treated me like my peace of mind and health is a priority. She is a Godsend and I hope she learns about this review and is rewarded in some way. She deserves it. My doctor could learn how to treat a human being from her. Thank you, Ashley. You are a great person. read more

Went in to rite aid today to get my flu shot. After an hour of sitting in the waiting area I asked an associate how much longer I would be waiting. I was rudely informed my name had been called twice. I know what my name sounds like, and had not moved from my seat, I did not notice anyone come out and say my name. After another 30 minutes of waiting, customers who arrived after me were being called up for their flu shot. I left and headed over to Albertsons. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I have to drive a long way to pick up my medicine so I always call ahead to make sure that it's ready. I'm always told that it is but when I get there.........no meds! I have finally had enough and will now switch pharmacies. I have seen people complaining about the service at the Klamath Falls Rite Aide. All I can say is that these people have never been to other pharmacies in Klamath Falls. All the pharmacies in Klamath Falls are alike. My friend called in a prescription to another pharmacy. Three days later they called her and said it was ready. She drove in the following day just to find out that her prescription was not ready as they had stated. At yet another pharmacy in Klamath Falls, filled a prescription for a lady and it was the wrong prescription. So, all pharmacies in Klamath Falls have their individual issues and problems. . As far a prescriptions go, for me, medicine by US mail is the best way to go. read more

Its sad to say but this Rite Aid's pharmacy is horrible! I've seen and overheard employees giving wrong medications to the wrong person. They tried it with me just because myself and one other person had the same name. Staff kept insisting it was mine until the pharmacist pointed it out. Not to mention she could barely understand English. They NEVER answer their phone so impossible to get answers. I've used them in California and NEVER had the problems I do here. Pharmacy. Sigh. Klamath Falls. Sigh. blink. Well sometimes it's really great, the only DRIVETHRU pharmacy in town. Sometimes they take forever to get refills and you have to make a couple trips. But in this town..so far that is par for the course when it comes to pharmacies. Walmart has become a nightmare to deal with. I'm going to try FredMeyer and Bi Rite or whatever it's called. If they fail, I'm just going back to Rite Aid, at least I don't have to go in to find out that status. I just have to sit in the car and wait. Plus an extra star because they DO text you with enough info that you know which prescription is ready (you have to sign up for it but so much worth the effort) Walmart sends you one..but you dont know which one it is texting you for..then they resend again but you don' tknow if thats the next one or the same one.. It's also a BRAND NEW pharmacy so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt when it comes to their disorganization. This town is SO under-stored that every pharmacy is insanely busy read more

WORST pharmacy in Klamath Falls! We've been sending prescriptions there for about 4 years and every single one has had problems. If it doesn't take ALL day to fill there's problems with them billing insurance. Today it took all day and when we got there they had a problem with the insurance info that Stanford provided to them because they lost the info that they've billed probably 10 times before. The staff here will not care about you, no matter how long you're a customer. I've been getting my prescriptions here for two years, from the same pharmacy staff, and they still act like they've never seen me before in their life. On top of that, they treat me like a delinquent or an unwelcome guest for stepping foot in their pharmacy. They keep me waiting so they can finish a bit of gossip, and I've seen them do this to others too. They lose prescriptions, patient information, and do not know how to use their own system. Things have gotten so bad that I've written to Rite Aid corporate that they have a serious problem, with no resolution. The staff are not put-together or friendly in the slightest, but what's worse is the pharmacists don't seem to know very well what they're doing. That's dangerous. I no longer trust that I'm getting the prescription I'm prescribed, so I actually check online by looking up what my pills should look like. I count my pills. I get a prescription face cream, which they mix wrong every other time, which seems insane to me. I am paying for it, I am prescribed it for a reason, but they do whatever they want with it even if it's totally incorrect. I know this because I overheard them talking about how they did it wrong and laughing about it while I was waiting at the counter and they didn't realize it was my prescription they were messing up for giggles. When something goes wrong--and it does every time--they're more worried about blaming each other and calling each other lazy in front of customers than apologizing to the customer for messing up their potentially extremely important prescription. They treat everyone like a suspicious drug seeker. Not sure why else they would treat upstanding citizens picking up their antidepressants every couple weeks like criminals. read more
