Aweful service. I was being helped by a "manager" named Peter. I asked him to print a receipt for me because on my end I pressed no receipt by mistake. He gives me attitude and tells me he is incapable of figuring that out. After arguing with me back and forth he storms off to the back. Throwing away my coupon as if he has authority to. I then look at another coworker to ask him to retrieve it from the trash because Peter threw it away out of frustration. He comes back with my receipt and I address his behavior. Reminding him he is a manager and throwing away others peoples coupons bc you're "irritated" is not appropriate. With a little snarky tone he says it was "probably an accident" this dudes snarky and rude to customers. Real piece of work. read more

This review is aimed at the pharmacy only. I called to ask a simple question and was immediately put on hold. This has happened several times since changing my 'scripts from what once was Savon in Albertsons/Haggen which closed & force me to change. I stayed on hold, initially, for 18 minutes. I decided to drive the mile and a half while still on hold. I stood in line(2 customers ahead of me) still on hold. To make a long story short, I was on hold for 43 minutes when I finally was served in line just to ask a a simple prescription question. I spoke with the pharmacy's register person, a person I surmised was a pharmacist's assistant, & the on duty pharmacist about my being put on hold and not returning to my call. This has happened a few other times as well. I'm now in the process of looking a pharmacy that puts customers first. read more

This Rite Aid is spacious and attractive and in the busy Hillcrest area. There is plenty of parking space. The employees are helpful and courteous. There is even an ice cream shop in the store with as close to homemade as anyone can get. It is a relaxing shopping environment to experience. read more

I just come here for the goods, meaning ice cream. I grew up on Thrifty's Ice Cream, it's the absolute best! Strawberry is the BIZZ-NASS! Second best fave is the chocolate malted crunch but I feel like every time I come here to get my ice cream fix, they don't always have the flavors that I want. Then I'm forced in to getting something that I don't really care for. You can also buy cartons of Thrifty's ice cream here but then again they don't always have all the flavors in stock either. read more

I can't find anything to complain about with this location. Pharmacy is prompt and helpful. Frontlines employees are friendly, and helpful. Never had any issues accept with experiencing rude customers. I guess you get what you put out. If you are a rude impatient, selfish person than you'll never get good service anywhere. This particular rite aid has to deal with some pretty awful people who believe it is their privilege to be rude and unkind to those that are serving them as I have personally witnessed. read more

Be careful of going into the store, they are knowingly allowing people who have been exposed to the corona virus IN THE STORE. They made my friend go in the store knowing she had been exposed but said since she didn't have a cellphone there was no other way. So when it came time to fill my meds I wanted to see what happened bc I also don't have a cellphone. I've had many little mistakes happen at the pharmacy but today I was mortified. I called to refill my meds and asked about the free rx drop off bc I have been exposed to the corona virus and am under quarantine. The pharmacist said they can only do curbside pick up (which doesn't really stop the exposure bc now I have to go to the gas station ). I said ok but I don't have a cell phone so I can call you before I leave. She told me she couldn't do that bc they need to know when I'm at the store, which didn't make any sense bc I just told her I don't have a cell phone. So I asked to speak with the manager who was super defensive and just defended the other worker, she wouldn't even let me finish my sentence. I asked her if I should go into the store even though it's against doctors order, and all considerations to other? She said I should call when I get to the store! So long story short, after getting a lecture for not having a cellphone they agreed I can call from my house before I leave. Let's see how long I'm going to have to wait outside the store... Having said all that I do want to say that the manager of the store is awesome he communicates efficiently and is very respectful. read more

I usually never write bad reviews but this time I am! I went in today and one of the associates (Gill/Jill) the one with red hair was walking around and I said "Excuse me.. I was wondering if you had any laser pointers like the ones for cats?" And she responded rudely "no we don't support animal cruelty in this store" very rudely in front of the whole store (employees and customers) and then walked Away. So I called the store asked for the manager and a lady answered ( not sure if she was the manager) and I asked who the lady was and told me Gill, and then gill answered the phone. I just asked for her name and her last name cause I wanted to let corporate know and she got rude over the phone telling me that I don't need to know her last name and tried to argue with me and I just let her know that I'm not wanting to argue just gonna take it to corporate. When she first told me that in the store and how she told me it made me feel embarrassed and disrespected in front of other employees and customers. read more

I'd give 5 stars but they can't seem to keep my "Natty Daddy" in stock and I drive down there just to get it. Some of you would say: "why don't you just call?"... I have.. good luck having a busy store checker track down your favorite sauce. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. Dr called in a brand name RX. Pharmacy called and said she was sending it back. I had received the generic before didn't work. Ask if they can look up like a good RX coupon price. I was told " we don't do that you have to". So you all aren't like the bp pharmacy on tv. Rude offered no help and told she was busy.. one if the looked at the record they would he Ave seen that I picked up the generic a few days before. Two, an apology would have helped the situation. I went to the Rite Aid at 9532. For the second time the have product stocked under the wrong price but and won't honor it. The lost 65 sake over 20 diff. I get people can move items but te are stocking it improperly by themselves. I call the 800 number who called the store Mgr and the still won't honor it Well I guess it's my fault the can't stock items under the right place tag and then when you want to but it they gripe. FYI. I've seen them stock it repeatedly in the sane place last time with a new everyday low low price attached ..so yes they should've honored it then fixed it....most days I'd never take this step but. I was denied my narco prescription after my breast augmentation. I was told it was because the prescription was made in San Juan Capistrano it also had to be filled in that same city . I suffered severe excruciating pain from 6am til almost 5pm that after noon waiting . After being denied I took the prescription back to the surgeon just to be turned back around and told it's against the state regulations to deny someone prescribed pain meds after severe surgery. I had both my Cali ID and my military ID both are valid and up to date none of that mattered I also paid for it cash not through my insurance that still didn't matter . Omg. I arrived here at 948 pm. I kid you not, lady behind the counter is Jill, i asked her for an ice cream cone, she says ice cream dept is closed, i said thats not possible there's still 10 min left, i asked to speak to the manager and she states she is the manager. Are you for real? Business hours state 10 pm closed. I am so done. She has red dyed hair and a slight accent, Caucasian. I am livid, no longer bringing my business here. P.s. she said no overtime is allowed and there was only 1 customer in line with a male clerk behind the counter, who was rude for laughing. Tall Caucasian with thick wavy hair. I go here a lot because it's conveniently near my work. Everyone seems friendly to me and has knowledge of the store IF you can find them. Sometimes I just leave and come back later if there is a line because the cashiers are so slow. Aside from that no complaints. read more
