Another poster mentioned poor customer service however they were reviewing the Hooksett Rd location. When I read that I was dumbfounded because this elm St location's pharmacy is amazing! Over the years, I've used many different pharmacies and never had a particularly good or bad experience. Very hum-drum. But then I used Elm St once and after that I was all set. They are my go-to pharmacy every time now. They really do redefine professionalism, courtesy, accuracy, and speed. They will have a line of 5 cars pull up but in 8 minutes they'd have them all cleared out. I call in for a refill and I get a text that it's ready literally 5-10 minutes later. They put other pharmacies to shame and I do mean that. I think they have a good team who have similar work ethics and who take pride in doing an excellent job so when you get that kind of synergy, it shows. I don't recall their names but the young female tech with dark hair, glasses, and a slight accent as well as the youngish male PharmD are fabulous. When you see them there, know that they're working hard to get your your Rx and they certainly raise the bar for all pharmacies to aspire to. Good job! read more

They are the worst pharmacy ever. They never answer the phone. When you go through the actual store to speak to the pharmacy you just sit on hold. If you physically go to the store to fill your prescription they are rude to you and you have to wait. If you call Corporate they just tell you they will send the pharmacy a message but they never call you back. Literally every other Rite Aid is better than this place. read more

If I could put zero stars or negative stars I would. I would never recommend this pharmacy to anyone. Supervisor and pharmacy technician are rude disrespectful and have zero customer service skills. This is not the first time I've had this happen. Rite Aid needs to do something about their employees customer service skills. I prefer this location over any of the other's in the city. It's nicer and you'll feel much safer than some other locations. It's open 24 hours so it's very convenient for any last minute needs. On major holidays, I've found they are the only business open. I've used their pharmacy for 5 years now. I use the auto refill option. They text me when it's ready and I can easily pick it up using the drive through. read more

Not happy when I called the elm st location in Manchester nh and dealt with Christine who was very rude about refilling my dogs prescription, and arguing with me stating I could not refill a med that was clearly due for 2 more refills. If she was unclear she should've asked a manager not come at me rude and then says it takes hrs to fill when clearly the store was not busy nor has it ever takin more than 20mins for a refill.. read more

The pharmacy staff at the Elm Street Rite-Aid is fantastic. They went above and beyond to help me with a medical issue that my insurance company was pushing back on. The location is convenient and the store staff is incredibly patient with the diverse and colorful clientele that comes through the doors. read more

I am writing about the rite aid on Hooksett Rd in Manchester. Went in there today and bought a rite aid brand sleep aid, got to the register and the girl behind the counter didn't greet me, didn't say hi, nothing, I put my purchase on the counter and she said, "I need an ID' I said do I not look old enough? She said again I need an ID' I said it's in the car, she said I can't sell it then! So I said I will get it, came back in had to wait in line again, got up to the register and yes I was annoyed, threw my license on the counter and she said to me I am not selling that to you now! I said what? She said you are aggressive!! I said I want to speak to a manager, she said she was the manager. (Jenny) this girl must of been having a really bad day, first of all I am anything but aggressive! I am also in my 60's. Any other Rite Aid ask you for your date of birth not your license! When I had insurance I got my Rx's from Walgreens. I lost insurance, so I price shopped my Rx's. CVS and RiteAid were just about the same price as Walgreens. Prices were outrageous at these drugstores. The kid behind the counter at Walgreens told me to check out Walmart or Target. He said he did not have insurance and fills his Rx's at Walmart. I found my Rx's were eight times, yes 8x, more at Walgreen than Walmart. I have insurance now, but will continue to go to Walmart. I will not go to any drugstore contributing to the high costs of health care by gouging. No one should get drugs at Rite-Aid. read more

NEVER USE THIS PHARMACY. PLEASE TRUST ME ON THIS. I hate to be that angry negative reviewer. I've never even written a Yelp review before. I'm a very understanding and forgiving person, but after a YEAR of horrible experiences at this pharmacy, I'm done being understanding. Where to begin... 1) The Wait. They say it'll be "about 20 minutes" until my prescription are ready. I wouldn't be upset if it took 30. I'd be mildly annoyed if it took 40. But it takes A WHOLE HOUR. Every. Time. This isn't an isolated incident, and it's not only at busy times of the day because I've tried going at various times and it always takes an hour. Oh, and it's not like they actually call my name after an hour, no no no, I have to go UP there and say "Is it ready yet?" and sometimes they say, "Oh, yeah, yours has been ready, just forgot to call you," or "Oh, what was your prescription again? We'll get right on that." This is not just me, by the way. EVERY time I'm there I'm sitting next to people who are complaining about how horrible the service is. 2) The Attitude & Incompetency. The pharmacy workers look and act like they're 16. They're as competent at their job as someone training on their first day, but I have seen them there for months, they aren't new. They're always fumbling around in a panic because they can't find anything and don't know how to use the computer. And THREE TIMES they have handed me THE WRONG PRESCRIPTION. That is terrifying! I always check them now, but I'm sure not everyone does, and they could be putting people's lives at risk with their laziness and lack of focus and attention to their job. Oh, and when I look and say "whoah whoah this isn't my prescription," they don't apologize (they've NEVER apologized for anything, ever), they actually sigh and roll their eyes. Oh yes, how annoying it must be to have all these crazy demanding customers who want the correct prescription, what a tough job you have. There's soooo many more horror stories I could tell you, this is just scratching the surface, but in conclusion, it's apparent that this isn't going to change so I'm switching pharmacies. It's worth the extra drive. These bumbling, rude, incompetent, lazy punk kids (I'm only 24 and they make me feel like I'm 50) have stolen enough of my very limited free time and ruined enough of my good moods by turning me into a bitter angry person that I'm not. read more
