Although the website indicates it is open for business, when I went there, the store was closed and the windows were boarded up.

Again Rite Aid messed up filling Rxs I have not been on for months. Automatically doing this although the Dr. did not send an order for the pills!! Charged me for the pills I cannot use and do not use. Do not do business with this Rite Aid in Mariposa, Ca 95338 since they are beyond incompetent!! Worse Pharmacy ever!! read more

Horrible customer service. Came here to do an even exchange of the exact same makeup product but in a different color. The cashier decides to return the items first and give me cash for it when I used a card. Then I have to pay for the same exact product but he charges me $7 more than when I first purchased it. How does that even make sense? After all of this, he returns the money back but ends up shorting me $2 and on top of that he did not give me the receipt so I can't exchange or return it if it doesn't work out. While all of this was happening, another person was helping someone with ice cream and told him to wait in line after us. He nearly waited 20 min holding both of his ice cream cones in each hand. No customer service what so ever. Don't bother coming here. read more

Drove out of Yosemite N.P to pickup feminine products for my girlfriend , I was seriously Disappointed to find that they had significantly up-charged multiple products throughout the store compared to their online prices they w/ free shipping. It might be weird reviewing a Rite Aid but I thought the service here was great! The wife and I needed some essentials for our trip out here that we forgot at home and they were the only place open late. The guy working the cashier was super helpful about asking if we had coupons or if we were a part of the rewards program. Great experience overall. Any and all prescriptions I get filled here while visiting my mom they are always so backed up that they take days and sometimes a week past the pick up times that I end up going without my heart and blood pressure medication. These people at this store are going to kill people!!! If they can't keep up then hire more staff or fire and hire more reliable staff i mean come on. This isn't just me, everyone I talk to says the same thing including my mother who told me she wentamonth before they got her her bp meds before! Absolutely unexceptable! We were visiting from out of town and needed to find some support. The one we found fit, but was defective. We asked if there was more in the back, and the older male manager said no. And he would not discount the item either even though the metal piece piece from the splint was protruding, Saying sorry another shipment comes in on Monday. That just doesn't work for people who are visiting, and shows a lack of compassion for people who are in pain. read more

I used to love coming here because the ice cream is to die for!! Until the other day I went to buy some things and asked the cashier to put $15 on one card and then i would pay the rest on the other. Well he decided to run it all through the one card and was like welp sorry it took it all from the one card. Well that card didn't even have enough money on it to cover the bill. So it charged my card and caused an overdraft fee. There is no Wells Fargo in Mariposa. The cashier then tells me he can't credit the money back he has to give me cash back. So he overdrew my account and is now telling me I have to drive an hour to go fix the problem with my bank. The store manager came out and spoke to me as if I was an idiot and told me I needed to split up the transaction if I didn't have enough money on one card. Then says well bring me a bank statement and we will refund your overdraft fee. I almost started crying and then this stranger walks up to me and hands me a 20 dollar bill and says heres for your trouble. That stranger had no business doing that but Rite Aid sure as heck should have considering they were the ones who did that to me. Her cashier messed up she should have covered that. Any review that starts with "when *I* vow never to shop there again..." says more about the reviewer than the business. Every business has forms to fill out, especially if prescription drugs are involved. Every one of us has been a new employee at one time or another. So far I've had nothing but good service when I've been to this Rite Aid. Just now had to call to organize someone else to pick up my RX because I'm too far away. No hassle, they hooked me up with a discount card over the phone. Zero complaints here. Even if their employees are, from time to time, human. read more

After actually speaking to the cashier in question and the store manager. I'm even more firm in my resolve. We have a National Health Crisis and every retail establishment must enforce strict rules for the health and general well being of our communities. Just because some people in our communities think this is politically motivated, their ignorance does not allow them to endanger the well being of the general community. Because This particular Rite Aid has chosen the cowardly route, I choose to shop else where. Ignorance politics are not a part of a healthy solution, this store is not a healthy choice. Never had anything but good to great service at this Rite Aid. Employees are very willing to get to know you, and do everything they can to keep the Mariposa brand of person to person, small town service alive and well in a "chain" outlet. Many times they've saved me from what would have been a major hassle in any other Rite Aid (or any other national presence) store. By the way, their Wellness Card program has saved me a TON of money. Dirty store. No floor employees, items strewn about. Good luck getting any help in here. Numerous empty facings in the coolers I've come to the conclusion this excuse of a store has about a million items you don't need, and maybe 1 or 2 items you need. That's if, you can find which aisle is which because the layout of the store is that funky. On a Tuesday night, I saw 2 employees working front end and 1 pharmacy. If a customer leaves your place of business angry and vowing never to shop there again, your new employee training has failed. I don't have time to fill out every business's customer information ploy--in this case some kind of Wellness gimmick. I don't owe you my personal information to shop in your store. And when you advertise a sale price and fail to make it clear that price is only good if I have your intrusive card in my hand, then I WILL walk out angry. You need a policy in place for customers like me (former customers I should say) who don't want ten different stores tracking my buying habits and refuse to sign up for or carry your little plastic cards. As a whole Rite Aid is the best pharmacy I know of, but the Rite Aid in Mariposa is an exception. Several times I called in a script. refill and I would show up 2 days later and the scripts were not ready. They always had an excuse but this never happened at other stores I have done business with. I can tell you this store has a high turnover rate and I am sure that is a big part of the problem. I have hopes they improve their performance at this store. It is a very crucial store in this small town. read more

I wish there was a way to give zero stars. My husband and I had a package from Amazon delivered here. The lady I believe who's name was Angela said she could do nothing without a bar code which we did not have because Amazon did not send us one. We showed her our order and the order number and even the items we had ordered . She said she could not give us our package which she had in her hand without the barcode. We called Nick the manager who's an even bigger joke than the associate and he said there is no way to bypass it and they would not give us our package without the barcode. Completely and utterly dissatisfied and disappointed with our neighborhood Rite Aid. We will be filing a formal complaint as it is completely unacceptable that they hold your items captive when you don't have a "barcode". All we want is our package and until we are able to get it they can expect everyday calls to corporate. read more

The pharmacy team saved our 4th of July weekend as they went beyond duty on a holiday to keep the pharmacy open as we raced from the valley to pick up much needed medication. While all others we closed or did not have it, the team graciously kept their door open knowing we were running late due to Yosemite valley traffic. 5 stars to the team!
